Caravan was good but the layout was cramped for 6 people. Kitchen was weirdly spaced with the cooker next to the door. There was some wear and tear to items but useable. Overall good and the balcony was great for eating outside.

Amazing!! Will be back next year for a longer break. Worth every penny.

Our caravan was basic but suitable for a base. Odd that there was no toilet roll holder. The outside hadn’t been checked as on our arrival I found a bottle with water and cigarette ends in it.

Good caravan, 7 people in the caravan needed the 2 toilets. Plenty of space in the lounge.

The caravan was of an ok standard. It did have some wear and tear and the cleaning standard could have been a little better. The beds weren’t the comfiest and the bathroom could have done with some hooks to hang towels etc but on the whole the caravan was okay for a few days stay.

AWFUL. Dirty on arrival. Rusty radiators throughout.The caravan stunk of smoke, very overwhelming and stunk all off our clothes out. Sofas were filthy.

Lovely caravan. Had everything we needed and was spacious. We was lucky to be placed in a great location close to the facilities but the stunning views is what made it for us

The caravan we stayed in this year was just opposite the reception and pool. It can be a little noisy around early evening with people going for food and drink but that is only to be excepted at a family site.The caravan was clean and tidy and we had no complaints about it.

Great accommodation, relaxing, comfortable and good value for money.

Good Caravan, just let down by poor mattress, there is nothing like your own bed.Staff were good everyone friendly, welcome pack was ok. Just needs more info regarding where you can take your dog, easily forgotton at check in. Cannot comment on facilities, we did not use them. Would probably come again on a last minute break.

The owners were genuinely friendly and made sure we had everything. Definitely recommend if you’re after a quiet, relaxing getaway. We loved it!

Perfect break

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The owners are so welcoming and genuinely helpful, which made our stay even better. The place itself is stunning - a charming half-timbered building with a cosy vibe, a powerful shower and a comfy bed that felt like home. Parking right outside was a real bonus and everything was spotless. We enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to Thaxted and it’s so easy to get around to explore nearby villages with pretty houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!

The caravan was pretty dirty when we arrived, so we called reception. They responded swiftly and sorted it out to a good standard, which was great!

A good base for a holiday incorporating bike, walking and train service. Didn't use the restaurant or swimming pool.

Reception staff lovely and helpful. Especially the blonde hair lady.

Absolutely loved it here, the staff as so very helpful and friendly. The caravans spotless, as are the clubhouse and pool. My only complaint is that the children's play area is not suitable for children under 4, my little boy who is two really wanted to play in ther ruby he couldn't as it was too dangerous. You really need a bit for the younger kids.

Very clean caravan, everything we needed. Unfortunately I was unwell all the time there, so didn't manage to enjoy everything is as we really should have. After visiting hospital I was told to go for a follow up at my local one the next day, so we left very early. I left a note for customer service,in the caravan, stating what happened and that we would love to come back soon. But there was no acknowledgement. Hopefully we can go back and enjoy it fully. The only negative, TV reception was bad. We don't go away to watch TV, but as I was ill...

Very good site, excellent facilities and great staff.

Stayed in the DV caravans and were well equipped but one oddity, there was no teapot, just about everything else but no teapot and we had two caravans and the other one had no pot either. We loved the Bluetooth connection from our phones to the caravan speaker system, a real nice touch and an easy way to stream your music. A very nice site and fully recommended and would have loved to stay for 7 days however with things the way they are today I was lucky to afford 3 nights. Some of the family used the swimming pool with no complaints but bit strange you have to book in advance, a roll over from the Covid days I suppose. We did not use the onsite restaurant so no word on this from us.

Good caravan , helpful staff ,pool good and heated indoors and out, kids loved it

Caravan was spacious and clean. Supermarket less than 5 mins away. Close to beach. Entertainment great for both adults and kids. Swimming pool is partly under cover and water is warm. All round a great place to chill out and also have fun with the activities including bingo if you choose. Great menu in club House and reasonably priced if you choose to eat out.
