We loved the quiet, serene setting and the spotless lodge that had all we needed. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Lodge 12’s views were stunning and there’s plenty of lovely walks nearby. Definitely coming back!

We had such a lovely escape! The cabin was spot on, with everything we needed - from loo rolls to dishwasher tablets, they really thought of all the little details. The undercover porch with hooks, the drying room and comfy beds made our stay even better. The highlight was definitely relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by mountains - truly stunning. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Everything was just perfect and we’ll definitely be returning soon!

We just got back from a festive week at Hartsop Fold and honestly, it was fantastic. The views were absolutely stunning, especially with the snow falling on our last day - really magical! Even though the place is pet-friendly, the lodges were surprisingly spotless, which we appreciated. They’re well kitted out with smart TVs and a speaker, perfect for Christmas movie marathons and tunes. We loved the rechargeable torch/night light - so handy! The free laundry room was a godsend and kept everything tidy. The staff might be a bit rare to spot, but when we did see them, they were super friendly and helpful. The shower had great pressure, beds were cosy and the hot tub was just what we needed after climbing Red Screes. Thanks for a lovely holiday; we’re definitely coming back!

We loved staying here! The lodge was super cosy and well-equipped. The decking with that stunning view was perfect. The heated porch was a lifesaver for wet clothes!

We stayed at this lovely lodge and really appreciated how well thought out everything was. The hot tub and the drying room, though we didn’t use it, definitely added to the appeal of choosing Hartsop. Its location is spot on for exploring Ullswater, which was perfect for us. Only thing we’d suggest is raising the fencing by the veranda a bit - we felt a little exposed with four other verandas nearby. Still, it’s a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway and we’d happily return!

We loved the hideaway spot, it’s peaceful but close enough to explore nearby villages. The scenery is stunning and the waterfall just a short walk away is a real highlight! The lodge was super comfy and warm, plus that hot-tub was a lovely touch. And two mornings of F15s flying overhead? Amazing! Definitely recommend, especially outside peak season for the best deal.

The staff really made our stay enjoyable, always ready to lend a hand and super friendly. We heard the WiFi wasn’t great in reviews, but honestly, we had no problems at all. Watched loads on tablets and phones, all smooth sailing for us four! Definitely recommend.

A beautiful cabin in a stunning location. Quiet, tranquil evenings spent on the veranda after Venturing out during the day visiting many interesting locations. Being dog friendly, which many locations are not, and at a reasonable price certainly ensures we will vist again.

Lovely, quiet site. Fantasy views. Accommodation very good however the sofa’s were uncomfortable & and double mattress had a hollow in the middle.

What a wonderful escape from it all place to enjoy rest & relaxation. No noise, no outside interruptions, no lights late at night so beautifully clear skies, could not ask for better.

We can’t see any staffs there. You have to leave enough tissue rolls there.

Back from a 3 night break, stayed in the Keswick Lodge. I am probably one of the fussiest people you could meet, however it was spotless and given that dogs are welcome there was no bad smells. Very comfortable stay with everything you would need. Would definitely return.

Great location for walks directly from the site.
