Beautiful area, cottage in a quiet place. Furniture and fittings , especially the beds need replacing, the worst we have slept on in years. You could feel the springs as we got into bed . The curtains hanging down off the rail, I wanted to put them back on the hooks and tidy it up for them, but not enough hooks. The oven and utensils were unclean. However; there were plenty of white goods, washer dryer fridge and freezer. Heating that worked. The lodge felt like we had travelled back in time and needed updating to how cottages are nowadays.

We really enjoyed our stay. The secure garden was great for the kids and honestly, that hot tub was the highlight - best we’ve ever used! Being on a farm meant no traffic noise, which was pure bliss. Beds were super comfy and the lodge's facilities were spot on. The decor’s a bit tired now, but still totally functional.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this lodge! The hot tub was a real treat and it’s kept sparkling clean daily by the friendly owners who live nearby. The place itself is spotless, with all the facilities we needed-washer, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge, small freezer and dishwasher-all working perfectly. The beds are super comfy and the walk-in shower plus bath made it feel luxurious. Plus, the big enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to run around freely. We definitely plan on coming back soon!

We had a lovely weekend at the Primrose Lodge! The hot tub was a real treat and the garden was perfect for our pup to run around. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Not much nearby, but it's easy to drive to shops in about 15 mins.

We also discovered some lovely local eateries and friendly pubs. Everyone was welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was cosy and the garden perfect for Tilly, our dog. Storm Alex and COVID couldn’t ruin our honeymoon - the hot tub was absolutely fantastic, probably the best I’ve ever used. The location’s so peaceful and private; we actually didn’t miss WiFi at all. We’re already planning to come back for a week next time!

We managed to snag Primrose Lodge just a day before our trip after a sudden cancellation and honestly, it was a stroke of luck! From the moment we arrived, we knew it was exactly what we needed - a big garden for our little Italian greyhound, a massive hot tub and all the cosy comforts you could want. The photos online don’t quite capture how lovely it really is. No internet or signal was no trouble for us; it was a perfect break from the chaos, especially before I start my new job as a mental health nurse next week. We spent our evenings soaking in the hot tub, gazing at the stars with all the lights off, which was so tranquil. The only sounds were the distant silence and the other lodge, which we couldn’t hear at all. During the days, we headed to Elan Valley, just half an hour away and the views and walks were absolutely stunning. We’re already planning to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge comfortably fit four adults and two dogs and having an enclosed garden was a real bonus. Spending my birthday relaxing in the hot tub was just perfect. We’d definitely come back - it was a lovely break!

The lodges are really comfy and well-kept, perfect for relaxing getaways. We loved the warm welcome - that basket with milk and eggs was a nice touch! The staff were friendly and helpful, making everything easy. The location’s peaceful, yet close enough to explore. Overall, a great stay, we’d come back for sure. The lodge was beautiful, the views are stunning. If you are looking for a break away with nothing at all to do apart from walk and relax this is the break for you! Because you are quite literally in the middle of nowhere ?

Fantastic lodge, excellent hot tub & the enclosed garden was absolutely brilliant for our 2 dogs to play. Very quiet peaceful area, nice to relax. Nearest shopping was about 8 miles away (Tesco Llandrindod Wells) but we ordered online and arranged delivery to the lodge for our first day arrival which was perfect. A bit further away (approx 40mins) is Newtown, more variety for shopping and a lovely park where dogs could run off lead and play in the river. Highly recommend.

We had a amazing holiday! Went went during the hottest days of the year, heartsease lodges were a god send! because we took our kids and dog some afternoons we had to stay in the lodge thankfully the garden area was brilliant for them all, enough room to kick a ball, play stuck in the mud or tag, the hot tub was amazing. I would recommend these lodges to everyone they are perfect.

Really nice lodge to come to for a relaxing break, all facilities were clean/ in working order. Staff were nice/ helpful, would recommend staying here if you want a lovely relaxing break

What a wonderful place to holiday, The hosts made us feel very welcome along with our fur baby Daisy, who had a lovely enclosed garden to wander in .The hot tub was a pure luxury and enjoyed very much. If you want total peace and quiet ,this is the place to come to . Out in the middle of no where ,lovely walks from the front door ,and scenery that’s beautiful. Thank you for such a special place to recharge our batteries. 100% recommendations.

Photos don't do it justice. Lovely ranch style lodge. Well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Enclosed garden was a big plus. Would have given 10 but there's only one bathroom in the lodge. Needed an ensuite at least.

Lovely clean lodge. Perfect for dogs they loved it as it was all closed in fantastic for them and they had the freedom to run around. Hot tub was great. If its a break you need away from things then this is the place to go.

Exactly what we wanted, a short break away in a rural location with great facilities. Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed (including Tesco delivering our shopping). Hot tub was a great size and easily fitted 4 adults, it was checked daily for the chemical levels and these adjusted with no impact to guests. Will definitely return!

Fabulous 4 nights enjoyed by all. Great secure garden for the dog. Hot tub was amazing. Picturesque location. Only a few miles from the supermarkets and Llandrindod Wells lake and cafe which served great food. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious, homely, peaceful location. A lovely getaway for families or couples. Pet friendly and great personal touches from the farm.
