The place was really nice and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfy and well furnished. It did get a bit chilly at night since we couldn’t turn up the radiators and we didn’t use the log burner. Still, a lovely stay!

We stayed in the stables and loved how unique the place was. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a short break. The location was spot on and the onsite restaurant served really tasty Indian food. Big thanks to all the staff for making our stay so lovely. We enjoyed it so much, we already booked another visit!

We had a fantastic time! The location is ideal for exploring Wales and Shrewsbury, but it’s also a great spot to just relax for a few days. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Beds were super comfy and the hot tub was spot on. The cosy lounge with the log fire made it even better. We’ll be back for sure!

Honestly, we loved this place! It’s our first time, but definitely not the last. The cottage was gorgeous and super clean, with everything you could need. The on-site restaurant was a real bonus if you fancy a break from cooking amidst such stunning gardens. Highly recommend!

We loved the peaceful vibe of the place, yet it’s so handy with Chester’s shops and trains just around the corner. The staff genuinely couldn’t do enough and the property was spotless with all the comforts you’d want. Excellent value!

We had such a great long weekend at Henlle Hall Cottages! The place had everything we needed, plus that lovely private hot tub was a real highlight. Also, the roast dinner at Henlle Heights was fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Butler’s Quarters. It’s super cosy and spotless, perfect for a couple. If you’ve got kids, the stairs might be a bit tricky though. Everything you need is there and the spa bath is just a minute's walk away. Honestly, we’d definitely come back again, no question!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The Coach House was spotless and cosy and the hot tub tucked away in the bushes was a real treat. The peaceful surroundings and lovely bar made it perfect for relaxing. Great location for exploring nearby attractions too. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely adore this place! We visit three times a year and it never disappoints us at all.

We had such a lovely stay! Bev gave us a warm welcome and even offered us a complimentary glass of Prosecco, which was a nice touch. The stables were beautifully decorated and really well thought out, with lots of little extras like gowns, flip flops, treats and a towel for the dog. Hennle Heights is a great spot for a drink or a bite and the Indian restaurant was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy little cottage. The outdoor seating was a bit compact, but private enough. The hot tub, though a short walk, was super peaceful and quiet. Lovely spot overall!

We had such a lovely time staying in The Butler’s Quarters again - it’s our second visit this year and honestly, we didn’t want to leave! We even brought our well-travelled cat along and he loved it just as much as we did. The weather was perfect, making the whole experience even better. The place has everything you could need - a comfy big bed, a log burner and even a washer dryer, which is a real bonus. The private hot tub just a few steps away was fantastic and they even provide flip flops and a robe. The grounds are stunning, with rabbits, ducks and deer roaming around. Big shout-out to the team - you’re doing a cracking job. We’ll definitely be back!

Have been staying here since 2015. Home away from home and treated like family. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this part of the UK.

A perfect retreat. Staff are incredible

This was our second visit to Henlle Hall cottages. The cottages are very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The site is peaceful and the surrounding woodland and gardens are beautiful. We love it there hence the second visit and I'm sure we will return again.

Second visit to Henlle Hall Cottages, perfect for a relaxing break. The restaurant staff are outstanding, excellent service the best I’ve experienced in this country!! Curtis went above and beyond with my food allergies, unfortunately I wasn’t well on our last night so missed out on a wonderful meal he had prepared for me, sorry about that. Will be coming back in the Autumn, see you then? Recommend the Iron Works for a visit, lovely for browsing and a great coffee shop/ cafe.

Went here for a long weekend and loved this place, ducks, geese, deer's and fantastic setting. Cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The biggest plus however ere the staff upon checking in, they were so polite and helpful to the waiters and waitresses who couldn't have been better. Children loved the woods, ducks and seers too so everyone happy :)

A wonderful long weekend at Henlle Hall. Brilliantly comfortable accommodation with a cottage-feel. Enjoyed stoking the log fire , and soaking in the hot tub after a long walk along the nearby Shropshire Union canal. Perfect getaway

Amazing place, spend a very relaxed weekend in beautiful surroundings enjoying our cottage accommodation with hot tub! We even had robes for our two daughters age 7 and 5 which I thought was a lovely touch. Will definitely be booking to go again soon
