very disappointed with the cleanness of the bungalow overall bathroom dirty and looked un finished . beds were very bad as mattress had a piece of foam on top of it

The cottage was lovely-super peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The scenery around the farm was stunning and we loved seeing the horses. The owners were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, charming retreat!

Had a lovely stay in two Comfort 3 Villas with our family. One was more modern and beautifully refurbished, which made all the difference. We really enjoyed our time there, fantastic experience!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it’s surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and made us feel right at home. The place is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom-really handy. The bed was super comfy, which is always a win. The garden’s perfect for dogs, really secluded and with nice furniture. Plus, there are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. All in all, we’d definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely park. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The lakeside cabin with the hot tub was perfect for some relaxing downtime and it was nice and peaceful there. The only downside was the lack of phone signal and Wifi, which was a bit frustrating, especially with all the booking and online stuff these days. We had to park away from the cabin, which was a minor inconvenience. Still, fingers crossed they sort out the Wifi soon-it's a great spot!

The cottage itself is adorable, with charming traditional features and a super comfy bed. The shower was powerful, which we appreciated after long walks. Parking right outside was so convenient and the place was spotless and cosy. We enjoyed wandering through the fields to Thaxted, it’s such a pretty village and easy to get to other spots too. Definitely recommend!

They were incredibly welcoming and Bonnie made us feel right at home too. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering around charming villages like Thaxted. It’s a peaceful spot, ideal for relaxing. We’d definitely recommend it if you want a comfy break in a beautiful setting!

We loved the brick-built bungalow, it really has everything you need straight away. The only tiny thing was the wall heater - it’s a bit loud when watching TV, so an oil-filled radiator might be better. Overall, super comfy, spotless and the shower was a breeze to use. Would stay again!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it's really lovely-clean, well-kept and quite cosy. The main bedroom was a good size and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Only downside was no towels, just tea towels, which was a bit disappointing considering it’s marketed as premium. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

We spent a week in one of the bungalows and honestly, it was a pretty good base for our Cornwall trip. Most of the attractions and spots we wanted to visit were easy to get to from there. The bungalow itself was clean, tidy and had everything we needed-no complaints on that front. We had heard some grumbles about the beds, but they were fine for us and we slept well. The park was peaceful, which was perfect for relaxing between days out. The only real downsides were the Wi-Fi-completely useless, don’t even bother mentioning it-and parking was a bit of a squeeze when the park was full, making it tricky to get in and out. Oh and it’s definitely easier to head into the park from the north via the B3266. Overall, a decent spot, especially if you’re after a quiet place to stay.

We had such a great weekend staying here! Definitely planning to return later in the year.

We had an excellent wk. Its lovely and quiet and relaxing. Surroundings are lovely and nothing feels rushed.accomodation was brilliant...very clean and well kept. Swimming pool was very good as was the golf pitch and putt. We didnt go fishing but walked and had a look at the lakes and it was so pretty. It's a shame they have got rid of the crazy golf nd I think the childrens play area could be improved as not a lot in there. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Great 3 bedroom villa. Fabulous location and facilities with very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely site but accommodation a bit tired and shabby. Staff friendly and helpful especially Angela on reception who sorted out our booking when we arrived as we had added the weekend to our midweek booking with short notice and we had booked 2 different accommodations by mistake with 2 different companies. She sorted it out within 20 mins and we were able to stay in the same bungalow all week.

Beautiful site ,friendly staff ,would go again.
