The caravan is very well looked after, modern furniture, well set out, everything you need for a lovely trip away. We are already looking to book again next month!

Nice shower, cental heating and electric fire. Good cooking facilities. Comfortable for a caravan try to look like a lodge.

Clean and quiet place for get away from it all

The showers need some form of shelve to put shower items on .

The whole chalet was just Wow. High Quality. The kitchen was small but perfect. Excellent fridge and freezer Two lovely bathrooms. Our double bed was very comfortable. The chalet can sleep a total of 6 Lovely looking wall fireplace. Great to. Though we didn’t use much. Overall. Very pleased. 10/10

Lovely lodge which is spacious and has an amazing hot tub! Although, when I moved a bed to look for something it was dirty! There was also a bin in one of the bedrooms that had some hair from previous visitors left in it. I also know I left an iPhone charger in the socket there and no one has phoned to tell me.

This park was easy to get everywhere peaceful as doesn’t have swimming pool etc on site just what we wanted

Absolutely beautiful- stayed in this lodge twice this year.So spacious and has that home comfort feeling.Few cobwebs in some of the rooms and dusty under the furniture.Fantastic hot tub, and very private.

We stayed at Holmans Wood over the May day BH weekend. Having never stayed there before, we were a bit skeptical about what to expect. We were more than happy with what we walked in to. We booked a superior holiday home and when they say superior, they mean it! It is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed, the location was fantastic and views were lovely. It wasn't stated on the information, but dishwasher and washer/dryer were also in the accommodation (perfect!). The park is very quiet with Finlake only 10 minutes away for the activities for the children. Also a bonus, local Chinese takeaway (Mei Wah) deliver straight to the park and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning in the future and have recommended to family and friends. We had a lovely stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon put so much effort into beautifully restoring the historic building and it really shows. They greeted us warmly, along with Bonnie, which made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering through charming villages and discovering their history. Honestly, we’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing break. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful lodge! V spacious and immaculately maintained.

We had a really relaxing stay! The keyless entry was super convenient and the lodge was spotless and smelled lovely when we arrived. It’s just a shame there weren’t dressing gowns for when you get out of the hot tub, but the staff checked it daily, so we knew it was always clean. Definitely planning to return!

The holiday home was spotless and had everything we needed. It was beautifully furnished, but honestly, it felt a bit too quiet for kids. Still, we really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm and it was surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn’t want to leave! The garden is ideal for dogs, fully enclosed and beautifully furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed exploring Thaxted’s great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and super comfy. The hot tub was amazing, even if the thermostat broke. Staff were friendly and quick to help fix it.

We had a great time here with 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was lovely and quiet and very clean. Although they had building work, we did not hear or see this which was great. I would highly recommend.

Very good service lovely homes, need to drive if you want entertainment or days activity. Although I booked knowing it is a quiet site but not far is sister site also beautiful. Would recommend to any. Handman and reception so very helpful and pleasant

Fantastic park however it's adult friendly more than family with children. For the activities you got to travel by car at least 10min to the nearest sister park. If more activities for children's available within the park I would recommend this 100%. Otherwise park situated in the lovely country side and good walking trail for dogs. During our visit we witnessed some construction a going on, so we will give another go

The place we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained. My children enjoyed the park and hot tub. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely place would definitely stay again

The holiday park was really lovely with rabbits running around and easy access to lots of places. It was quiet and peaceful which we liked and found really relaxing. Some building work going on but didn’t affect our stay at all. Staff all lovely and helpful on the couple of times we had to ask questions. No shop on site but a well stocked garage approx 1/4 a mile away so no problem there.

I had a brilliant week, relaxing and almost everything provided, towels, hot-tub, large TV, brilliant Wi-Fi and internet provision, heating and comfortable beds and seating. Plenty of space, lovely views. I really appreciate the member of staff responding to my phone all, when I knew I would be arriving a bit late, and he remained on site to hand over my keys. It was very quiet and I didn't see many staff. The site is well placed geographically and is still being developed. I loved seeing rabbits on the fields.
