had a family break at this park and have to say after reading alot of negative things would share my experience, we stayed in a comfort chalet and was surprised how nice it was inside, i had a llok on site and came across the value/economy chalets, which were not very nice inside, but if you pay for cheap accomodation you cant expect the ritz, the staff were really nice too, loved the indoor pools and soft play area for young children, overall it was a nice break,

Nice and clean, very well equipped, safe for children, beach on doorstep via private gate, finish off with a dip in the pool. Perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless and had all the essentials. A couple of small things like some new, fluffier pillows and a little info on nearby spots would’ve been handy. Also, a pint of milk instead of sachets would’ve been nice. Being close to the beach path was a big plus, though!

We stayed at The bay Cowell for 2 nights, 3 night were booked but it really wasn't for us.Cottage was very very tired, your could see the the staff had cleaned and it was a clean to the best they could do but the furniture and lodge it self was very worn. Covered the sofas using the spare sheets as these just looked really dirty chairs looked dirty and just really needed some freshing up. Mouldy blind in the bedroom I noticed this whilst In the hot tub. Bathroom just needs re doing, I just don't feel it should be advertised as a luxury cottage. On the Saturday I noticed there seems to be something leaking from the floor, but was unsure mopped this up and it had come back slightly the next Morning, we had gone out out the the day and at around 4 pm noticed the marks looked wet.We and informed reception, maintenance man came round immediately and was very nice and helpful also said it looked like there was a leak under the floor. Said would get someone to come and clean. But we had already made the decision to leave. Couldn't fault the staff and the children really loved the pool. But it's not somewhere we would choose to stay again. The location however is lovely and we really enjoyed the walks on the beach.

Overall, we're pretty happy with it. If we had to be picky, a pair of kitchen scissors and a heat-proof board would’ve been handy-especially for handling hot dishes. The only board included was that white plastic one, which isn’t ideal for everything.

We had a lovely stay at the beach house! The view of the sea is just stunning and the interior decor feels really cosy and thoughtfully put together. Everything was spotless when we arrived, which was a relief. The kitchen had all the gadgets and bits we needed and we loved the little extras like Isle of Wight Monopoly and Jenga in the cupboard. The info pack was handy too, guiding us to local spots. We’d definitely come back!

We recently stayed at the cottage and it’s been totally redecorated - it looked bright and spotless. The only downside was seating for just three people, even though there were beds for four and the sofa's seen better days. We were told new furniture was delayed because of issues at the Suez Canal, but honestly, the current settee did its job fine. Overall, a decent stay!

We stayed for a weekend and honestly, it felt just like home. The cottage was spotless and super peaceful. Loved the welcoming vibe and the swimming pool was a real treat. Beach walks were gorgeous too. We’re already planning to return next year, can’t wait!

Overall, the cottage was lovely and spacious. Very clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, we were a bit disappointed because it didn’t have the hot tub that was advertised, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, a great place to stay despite that.

We had a lovely stay overall. The beach house was charming and we really enjoyed our time despite the unpredictable weather. The only hiccup was the porthole window in the bedroom-getting the little one to sleep was a bit tricky without blackout blinds!

We stayed in a pet cottage recently and honestly, it was a mixed bag. The bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom areas were spotless, but the lounge wasn’t quite up to the same standard, especially since we’re not pet owners. The sofa looked like it had quite a few dog footprints and was a bit worn and the table was of poor quality with some marks. There were also dog hairs everywhere and we ended up sweeping a dustpan full just after arriving. On the plus side, the location was fantastic and the place was well-equipped and comfy overall. We did have a bit of an issue with the boiler on Saturday evening, but the staff responded quickly and sorted it out without fuss - their helpfulness was top-notch. Would we stay again? Definitely, but probably in a non-pet option next time if it’s available, since we’re not pet owners. Oh and they didn’t have a tin opener, which was a minor inconvenience.

We had a great time at Beach Nut! The only hassle was the patio doors-they were pretty stiff at first, but once we got the hang of it, no worries. The family shower head was a bit unpredictable and the sofa was a bit firm, but overall, it was a fantastic stay. Can't wait to come back next year!

We had a lovely stay overall. When we first arrived, we noticed the twin beds were a bit broken and the bedside lamp wasn’t working. But the staff sorted everything out super quickly after we called reception. Really impressed with their help!

So location was lovely … cottage was clean and tidy but sofa beds were really uncomfortable and not very nice. The hot tub was good, not the best one we’ve had but did the job … intially all the water splashed out as we all got in and because it was put in uneven it all sloshed out one side! But overall ut was clean and fairly tidy. Would stay there again as loved the pool and the beach was near!
Nicola
Fantastic accommodation and location.
Only downside no wifi in accommodation.
Jackie
The Bay Colwell was a lovely cottage that we stayed in and had everything we needed. The cottage was clean.
Anna
Lovely site, well laid out cottage and just a short walk to Colwell Bay's beach.
We chose a cottage with a hot tub but as there were so many beaches near by that were safe to swim in we didn't really have much time to use it.
Would definitely book there again.
Sarah
Had an amazing week at The Bay, Colwell.
Perfect location, and so easy to get around the island.
So much to see and do.
Only couple if negatives, no WiFi in cottages, double bed could do with a new mattress as a bit lumpy but nothing that spoilt our holiday.
Will definitely return in 2023
Lucy
Lovely place, close to sea and some good resturants. Dog friendly resort and the little pack left for our dog was a nice touch too

Third time visit, lovely and quiet. Would like Wi-Fi in bungalows.
