Honestly, we had a fantastic stay overall. The cabin was lovely and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Elemis products - definitely a nice touch that you usually only find in high-end hotels. The location was perfect, peaceful but still close enough to explore. The staff at reception, the site and the bird of prey team were all super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. The only tiny hiccup was the double bed being a bit close to the wall on one side, which made it tricky for my husband to swing his legs out. Other than that, no complaints at all! We had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

We booked quite late, so options were limited. The lodge was nice overall, but the main bedroom was tiny and you can only leave the bed from one side, which was a bit awkward. The electric shower lacked pressure and was tricky to get the temperature right. On the plus side, the hot tub was fantastic as usual and the view was lovely. It was an okay stay, really.

The lodge was a bit smaller than what we're used to, but super cosy and spotless. Everything we needed, from cutlery to glasses, was there. Perfect for a chilled out break!

We had a great stay at the cabin and it’s perfect for dog owners. They really thought of everything - we got treats, poo bags and a ball for the pups, which was lovely. The mudpal washer was a nice touch, even though our dogs stayed pretty clean, so we didn’t need to use it. The heating was so warm, we never felt cold at all. The kitchen was fully equipped - honestly, there wasn’t a single utensil missing, from fridge to washing machine. Overall, a really comfy place, we’d definitely come back!

We were a bit let down by the cleanliness, found some old socks tucked away and a cigarette burn hidden under a cushion. For what we paid, it didn’t quite meet expectations, to be honest.

The sofas and beds felt a bit tired and weren’t the most comfy, but apart from that, everything else was spot on. The kitchen was super well-stocked and the hot tub was lovely and kept spotless each day.

We found the mattress and sofa quite firm, which made relaxing tricky. The main bathroom was huge but only had a bath with a shower hose, no overhead shower or screen, which was a bit of a letdown. The en suite’s tiny shower would definitely get crowded. Still, overall, it was a decent stay.
