If you're after peace and quiet, this place's perfect. Just don’t expect fast WiFi or luxury beds. Great for hiding away from everything though!

The lodge was really lovely and super tidy, just wish the windows had been cleaned. Outside was very well looked after!

Lodge 3 is pretty nice overall, but the fridge is really loud, which was a bit annoying. Shower needs some TLC too.

We really liked the hot tub and the site was adorable. Sadly, the sofa was too stained to sit on and some cupboard items need a proper wash. A deep clean’s definitely in order!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kingsford Lodge! The setting is beautiful, totally secluded but still close enough to Exeter for a quick trip. The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The only downside was the Wi-Fi-it was pretty rubbish, which can be a pain if you're planning to stay longer. Still, we’d happily come back and recommend it to others!

We had a lovely time at this place! The setting is stunning and even though the lodges are a bit close, the little fences help with privacy. It’s perfect for quick trips to Exeter and Dartmouth, plenty to see and do nearby. A few small touches like tea, coffee and soap would’ve made it even better, but we were prepared. Honestly, we loved our stay and really wish we could go back in the hot tub again!

We stayed at this cosy lodge tucked away in quite a remote spot and honestly, it was so peaceful-perfect for a quiet escape. The surroundings within the park are lovely, really lush and calming. A little heads-up for future visitors: the sign outside could be clearer; we didn’t realise we’d arrived until the host came rushing over. Driving around involves a lot of single track roads, so confidence on the wheel helps! We’d also appreciate more regular hot tub checks-heard of this being done elsewhere. The single beds are a tad small but comfy enough and towels are supplied, though they’re quite tiny, so don’t forget your beach towel for the hot tub. Remember to bring dishwasher tablets and essentials, as only the first lot is provided. Overall, a lovely stay!

Very comfy lodge with all the essentials provided.

Love coming here after a year’s hard slog at work. So tranquil and natural. Not far from Dartmoor Park or Exeter. Roughly an hour to the seaside depending where you want to go. Nice pubs locally for food and drink.
The approach to the place is via a single narrow public bridle road for about 2 miles. Tight in some places with shrubbery otherwise a well maintained lane. Expect to meet the odd cow or two and farm vehicles along this road.

Owner welcomed us and explained everything when we first arrived and then left us alone which was great.
We were in lodge 3 which was not overlooked at all. Very quiet which was lovely. Not very good WiFi connectivity and no phone signal at all was the only let down otherwise couldn't fault the lodge
Would definitely recommend.
Alison
Lovely lodge well equipped everything you needed, in a nice setting, although some reviewers didn’t like the road towards the farm but we didn’t have any problems just a few horses on the road. And loved the hot tub.

Really enjoyed my holiday ,peaceful ,tranquil settings just the lambs bleeding and ducks quacking would highly recommend ?

Kingsford Farm Lodges were in an idylic setting, very quite and peaceful. It was off the beaten track but the directions given are spot on!
The lodge we used was well equipped and comfortable, the twin room had proper single beds not just the 2ft 6" beds unlike other accommodations we have used which feel a bit like sleeping on a shelf!
The bathroom was a very good size with a double sized shower and a great shower with great water pressure. Would have like more towels though, only about four hung on the towel rail so was a stretch for 3 people! It was a good job we had our own towels for the hot tub.
We arrived a bit early to check in but we were welcomed and given keys and directions to our lodge, the owner needed to pop out but this allowed us to unpack the car, and she came down to the lodge to explain how the hot tub worked and answer any questions we had. Have to say the hot tub was one of the best we have used, it was powerful and lovely and warm, and kept its heat,
It was a proper wooden lodge and the smell of sawn wood when entering the lodge was lovely. There was decking to the front and side of the lodge and a lovely are at the rear to sit with furniture. Only thing you could hear in the evenings were the birds and the lambs in the fields, Truly lovely.
I would definitely book here again, we were 3 adults with no children to entertain. and we don't mind driving around and exploring Dand helpfulevon and we know parts of the county already.
It was a lovely short break and the owners were friendly

We were provided with excellent directions to our lodge which is 2 miles from the main road through Longdown.
The lodge is situated in beautiful and idyllic surroundings.
We received a lovely warm welcome by the owner which was followed another warm welcome from the 4 resident Guinea Fowl!
The lodge was very clean & comfortable with all the facilities and amenities that we required.
We loved the hot tub.
I would highly recommend visiting Exeter Quays and the Eden Project.
Great food at The Lamb in Longdown.
We loved our holiday in Devon.
Steven

We had a fantastic holiday at Kingsford Lodges excellent location away from everything with peace and quiet. The lodge is well presented with everything you need whilst staying but also only being six miles from Exeter to take the children out during the day. The hot tub is fantastic we made the must of this during the evenings. I would highly recommend Kingsford Lodges and we will endeavour to return.
