On the whole the lodge was very spacious and perfect for a whole family. The only negative we had was the lodge needed a few minor maintenance upgrades such as the door holder in the fridge was broken so we couldn't use it, the vanity in one of the bathrooms was peeling and needed replacing and one of the blinds in the living room area wasn't working. There was also a very strong smell of drains in the bathrooms when we arrived but this was reported and rectified.

Beds were very strong and comfortable, but living room sofa needs new pillows.Entrance door and main bedroom facing towards golf club handles were not strong.Rooms are good size and kitchen has all necessary equipments.

Washing machine did not work and no hoover to clean up

Lodge stank, very dirty, not private at all, resident don't follow simple rules, 4 o'clock check in is shocking.Not our first visit here but will be our last

The site its self is very well kept however the Delux lodge needs a lot attention the maintenance side lets them down.From unfinished patched up work on the ceilings to leaking showers with water spraying all over the ceiling causing paint to peal.Cupboard doors not alined properly and the dishwasher door would just drop down very fast causing it to be unsafe.The fire door on master bedroom was missing the fire seal.Staff all very nice and friendly.We would not recommend to friends and family.If a little money was spend on the lodges it would be the perfect place.We stayed in lodge 16

Lodge was a bit tried and needs a refresh of paint and grouting. Some of the furniture also needs a good clean or replacing. The blind on the large window downstairs was broken and therefore we could not close it

Excellent lodges and well placed for the east coast and beyond. Staff very friendly and will solve any problem. Can’t wait to go back. Lodges are spacious and clean and have everything you need, dishwasher and washing machine which come in very handy.

Lovely pleasant welcome on arrival. We stayed at lodge 23 overlooking a nice par 3.Really well set out and well equipped great information guide and everything was sign posted around the resort itself.A few minor areas that could do with a touch up but in all honestly most peoples homes have these little tweaks that we all do when we can. Would it make me mark the resort down because of it… absolutely not!We loved it, kids loved it and the dog loved it. Really enjoyed our weekend stay with you guys.Food at the restaurant was good. Golf club food, reasonable prices and the lady who served us (dark haired, sorry I didn’t get your name) was brilliant. It was really busy and she never missed a beat. 5 stars for her alone!We took a walk in to town one day (30 mins) great shops, bars hand had a lovely Indian before getting an Uber (only £5) back to the Lodge.

Large and modern lodges, nicely situated in the countryside.

The lodge was spacious and well kitted out. Loved the art work around the place. Our only downfalls were the shower trays would overflow, which had led to some water damage on the ceiling downstairs by previous guests, and some of the kitchen utensils were rusty.

Lovely spacious lodge in beautiful surroundings. Lodges are private and have all that you need. The interior is a little tired but it didn’t affect our break.For future guests, take extra toilet rolls and hand soap. Also, be aware that some glass doors leading to the patio/hot tub do not have warning stickers and pose a risk of people walking into them.Overall, we would return.

We have stayed here a few times and the lodges are now starting to show their age. They are in desperate need of a refurb especially for the price charged. Ours had floors with dips in, flooring with gaps, kitchen doors that didn’t close and had a lot of damage. Two radiators leaked and the ceiling had been patched badly at some point. None of the window blinds worked properly and our bedroom window would not close.The location is excellent and the staff lovely but we won’t be back until it has had a refurb.

Lovely stay, peaceful and relaxing. Really nice accommodation. Kitchen slightly lets it down and remember to bring your own dishwasher tablets. Hob/ oven slow to cook/ heat . Utensil blunt and not surplus plates/glasses etc

We were extremely disappointed with this lodge. It lacked privacy from other surrounding lodges, had broken blinds, was poorly maintained, old furniture, excessive wear and tear, minimal cooking utensils, mismatched worn and damaged budget furniture, holes in bedding & curtains, missing and dropped kitchen doors, cobwebs and mould in en-suite and stairwell window. The whole lodge felt dirty and shabby. There are simply too many maintenance issues that just haven’t been addressed. This lodge requires a full upgrade. It’s budget at best but is marketed as sold as luxury at a premium price. I wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

Almost everything was in working order minus the dishwasher leaked but speaking to reception they were sending someone to take a look but we wasn’t fussed as just as quick to use the sink.

Had a great time, everything you need to get there and relax

Great relaxing break, very good accommodation in the lodges, they're just in need of a fair bit of upkeep and ongoing maintenance / TLC. Main problems were people parking on our allocated spaces, as our lodge was next to a hotel lodge and I don't believe they come with parking except in the main golf course car park. The kitchen area was a little worn and missing a few utensils like scissors. And only one small bar of soap provided despite the lodge having 3 bathrooms. I think they just need a really good refresh but otherwise perfectly livable for a week's break and we'll probably book again

Lodge just needs a bit of updating and refreshing but overall had a lovely stay in a beautiful location.

The lodge was nice however the bath was way to small and only two bathrooms had showers both had mould one on the ceiling and the other on the tiles really showing wear. The bedrooms were really comfortable and beds amazing again general wear and tear in living area all ceilings and furniture looking worn and marked. Please update things we love it here but if the lodges keep getting worse we won’t visit anymore not for the cost they are

Lovely place to stay, the lodges are perfect and clean we had our own parking places which made unpacking easier. The hot tub was lovely and we had plenty of privacy! The beds were very hard but I’m used to memory foam so anything else would be. The restaurant was nice and sat outside looking at the view of the golf course was stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely accommodation- very clean, modern and well equipped. A nice holiday park with some facilities on site but also close enough to towns to spend days away.

Fabulous break with friends. Staff friendly and attentive, accommodation lovely and clean (could just do with soap and a hand towel in each bathroom) views were amazing, facial was fantastic and afternoon tea was delicious!!

We stayed at this resort Monday to Friday. It was a fantastic and beautiful resort and we will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly. We had a warm welcoming and Ken who was the on-site security popped around the site each evening checking everything was okay. He was very kind and helpful. The only downsides were not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm and not having an enclosed area for dogs meaning they were constantly on long lines. Over all, definitely recommend this resort.

We had a wonderful weekend with family for a wedding which was just great. Staff helpful and friendly. We were aware that the lodge is to be refurbished. It is expensive though.

Excellent resort and loved our stay. Only downside was restaurant, which was hard to get into and when we finally did the food was poor. However, overall experience was fabulous and we will definitely go back
