We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right from the doorstep were perfect. The owners were so welcoming, made us feel right at home. Lovely people!

We spent a week here in July with our two mini dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage itself is charming and well-kept, with the hot tub being a real highlight, especially during those scorching days when the cool water felt so refreshing. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home, even taking their horses out to the fields daily - nice to see that dedication. Being close to Stansted’s flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Hide for a relaxing stay.

We had a lovely quick escape from daily stress. The living space was spotless and modern and the hot tub was always pristine, hot and well looked after. Nearby towns like Galashiels and Jedburgh are charming. The food and staff were genuinely friendly. We’ll return!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! The location is perfect-super peaceful and surrounded by stunning farml and. The horses were a lovely touch and the owners couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Definitely a spot we’d return to for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

It’s a shame the menu shrinks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with only high-calorie choices like pizza or fish and chips. We’d love some lighter options. Thursday’s full menu was fantastic, really tasty food all round!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dogs were especially happy with the underfloor heating and loved playing outside in the garden. Luna even came back with a strained tail-turns out she wagged it way too much! All in all, a great trip for us and the pups!

The lodge was pretty decent overall, perfect for a couple. It’s quite compact but cosy enough. Being new, some of the rear privacy hedging wasn’t quite tall enough, but otherwise, we had a good stay.

We stayed here as a family in November and really enjoyed it. Just a heads-up though, don’t bother paying peak rates - it’s not worth it. The lodge’s description is a bit misleading; it’s more like a large caravan than a proper lodge. Still, we had a good time overall!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The place was spotlessly maintained and had everything we needed. The dogs loved the nearby walks and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real treat. The host was super friendly and quick to respond. Definitely coming back - great value for money!

The cottage was really charming and perfectly situated for us, away from the busy crowds. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and the owners were friendly but not overbearing. They’ve got it just right!

It was a great stay , the pod was very clean and hot tub was excellent, I would say a canopy over the hot tub would be a future improvement to stop tree leafs going in the water but over all a great little holiday

Staff were friendly, even called me to say the unit was ready and we could check in early. Only downside for us was the units are very close together, for the most part this wasn't an issue, but then a family checked in near the end of the holiday, their kids were allowed to do as they pleased, hitting the side of the home with balls and frisbees, playing catch next to the cars and not always catching the ball, parents just sitting watching them do it. Spoiled the last few nights.

Lovely lodge. Very clean, everything you need. Great park, kid and dog friendly which was perfect for us. Unfortunately didn't stay long enough to use restaurant or visit entertainment but will definitely return again.

Holiday park was great, would be good if there was some kids entertainment but overall fab holiday.

Our lodge (a lilliards 4 bed),was great ,very well equipt and spotless.the bed was very comfy.the decking was large with very nice furniture ,and the hot tub was fantastic .overall a relaxing holiday .the only gripe would be the 4pm check in and 9am check out. 2pm and between 10am and 11am would be better

Lillesrdsedge is a very large and well laid out site that is meticulously maintained (can border on the intrusive with the level of noise from some of the machinery at times) The Linden pod we booked was excellent for our needs and all supplied for use within pod was of excellent quality. Safe and secure for our dog. The Tavern food was again of excellent quality but lacking a pool table which would have kept my 17 year old entertained. Plenty of outdoor seating. Takeaway van was a nice option for a few evenings too. Check in time of 4pm I feel is too late, especially as on-site shop closes at 5pm. Check out time of 9am is far too early also.

Great location - quiet during the week - can imagine it being more active at the weekend / school holidays.

Absolutely loved the Biwden pod we stayed in. The park is lovely. Very clean and well kept. Nice and peaceful. The Tavern is a good place to drink and there is plenty of outdoor seating for nice weather. The food was good and service was too.

Lodge was really good only thing was not a lot to do on the site but overall very relaxing holiday would definitely go back.

Lovely place and we have been as a family a few times now both camping and staying in one of the new pods which was excellent we would definitely recommend it.
