Due to the weather being so miserable we spent a lot of time In the lodge than we intended to which is fine no one can help the British weather. On first entrance the lodge stunk of what i thought was old spicy food / takeaway it was not a pleasant smell at all ! So we had to open all the windows to air out the lodge. The lodge was definitely not as clean as we would have liked. Cob webs Every where in every lamp shade , the windows were filthy , and the Rug in the lounge either needs a clean or to be replaced. The lodge definitely needs some TLC when it comes to decor and paint ! Definitely not what we expected for over £100 a night. When we went to cook on our first evening the cutlery was all dirty as were the plates and glasses so we spent our first night of our holiday washing up and cleaning ! The Hot tub was lovely although instead of slate / stones a flat surface to exit the hot tub would be a lot safer. The decking definitely needed a clean as it was so slimly and no where to hang a towel or wrap for when you exit the hot tub so may be some Hooks would be beneficial. I probably wouldn’t recommend or stay here again which is a shame as Cartmel was a lovely village and we enjoyed visiting the local area , the food and the scenery.

Excellent, quiet location lovely lodge very spacious, hot tub was great. Comfy sofa to cuddle up with a film and relax. Will stop again.

The lodge is very clean and has everything you need either if you want to stay in the lodge and relax or as a base if you want to visit other places.

We had a lovely stay at Masham lodge. The accommodation was absolutely spotless on arrival and well appointed.Hot tub was again spotlessly clean and up to temperature on our arrival and was a most welcome addition after a very long tedious journey.My only and I mean Only minus point was for me the mattress on the bed was a little tired and could do with renewing as it felt a bit saggy, but I slept fine anyway but it does need replacing.All in all we had a wonderful peaceful chilled stay at Masham lodge and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.As a side note, if you have an EV there are two onsite EV Chargers Dead opposite Masham lodge which is great to see and very convenient.So an extra star to meadows end lodge's for that thoughtful addition to their site.

Amazing and lovely and clean. Wifi not great but other than that all amazing.

Brilliant stay in the Masham Lodge. Beautiful surrounds, 10 min walk from Cartmel, a short drive from Windermere and it was everything we wanted for this break, which was peace quiet and relaxation.10/10 and hopefully see you again

Can't say did not enjoy time there but a lot of things did need a refresh. Hot tub was nice but getting a bit old and a lot of the boards on patio area could do with replacing.

Bed quite old and noisy. Some of the utensils are not usable. Glasses were not matching. It is a bit dated.

Quiet and well kept site. Excellent value for money. Good communication.

Nice lodge with nice furnishings, would stay here again

Perfect! It's a pity we were only there for the weekend. It's good to have snow ensuite and a separate bathroom, the beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed. Even a washing machine and dishwasher can be found tucked away for your convenience.

Very pleasant lodge.

Lodge contained all you needed for the break. Found the settees needed a little more support.

A very well equipped lodge which we like very much. The lodge is dog friendly and we take two pugs. It is in good condition and always very clean on our arrival,

A lovely lodge on a very peaceful site. No noise, just bird song. Lodge was very clean and of a very good size. We loved the hot tub. We enjoyed visiting the Alpacas just under a mile down the road and found lots to do in the area.

Great location and lodge, clean and tidy! Good spot for our dog, and secure. Lovely area near Cartmel. Hot tub was good, but as it rained on last day we’d have valued a hot tub covering from the elements! Would book again.

Excellent peaceful place

The lodge was spacious, very clean and ws ideal for the break we wanted. The hottub was an added bonus.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday very quiet and private the only thing is the lodge is a little dated compared to others but this wouldn't stop me returning as it has everything else such as location privacy and peace

It's a beautiful location and we loved the lodge, although there are a few niggles but I think it's just wear and tear but nothing serious. It's well equipped and we had everything we needed. The weather was beautiful and we spent hours in the garden watching the beautiful birds drink from the water feature. We walked into Cartmel once but then the races were on and we decided to stay away from the crowds as we had our dog with us. The garden is not enclosed so perhaps be aware you will always need to watch over them while sitting outside. This wasn't a problem though and we are looking to return this year. Absolutely loved it.

We had a lovely holiday . The lodge was comfortable and had been equipped to a high standard . Hot tub was amazing . Sparkly and clean . The only thing I would have liked was a gate each end of decking to make a small area dog secure . We would book again in a heart beat . Thank you

The Lodges overall quite good. The set up of lodges was well thought out.

Amazing place and well maintained

Fantastic lodge, fantastic location. A cafe or shop on sight would be a bonus but overall no complaints. Already looking to book again for next year
