We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert made us feel so welcome, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, super cosy and perfect for Archie with good security. The location was just right, with lots of nice walks around and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, it felt like a proper getaway and we left feeling totally recharged. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

We had an amazing stay at this cosy cottage! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the nearby walks and it was lovely meeting all the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig - shes a proper character. The host was super friendly and quick to reply. Well definitely return, such good value! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely spot. The location is stunning and quite private, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners were super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but it still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling. One thing to note, though, is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is quite noticeable. It didnt bother us much after a while, but for light sleepers, it might be worth considering. Overall, a fab place!

We spent a week at this charming place from 15 to 22 July with our two little dachshunds, who absolutely loved it! They made some new friends in the lovely village of Thaxted, which was a real highlight. The cottage itself is adorable, especially the hot tub-perfect for those scorching days when the water was cooled for a refreshing dip. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed watching the planes come in since its close to Stansteds flight path. All in all, a great stay wed happily recommend!

We just got back from a four-night stay at this cosy cottage and honestly, we had a great time. The owners are really friendly but not overbearing, so you feel welcome but free to relax. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place was fully equipped with everything we needed and the hot tub was just fantastic! We found the place really suited our needs. I brought along some extra throws because the dogs love lounging on the furniture and it kept everything nice and cosy. The space was generous and there was plenty of choice on the TV. Returning from the beach to a warm, comfy house was just perfect and the beach itself is just a five-minute walk - so handy!

The place itself is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. Plus, there are loads of walks nearby and Thaxteds eateries like The Star and The Maypole are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!

We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and really enjoyed it. Rob and Sharon put a lot of effort into restoring the historic building and their warm welcome made us feel right at home, along with Bonnie. The place has everything you need for a relaxing visit. It's in a lovely part of Essex, perfect for exploring Thaxted and nearby villages. Wed definitely recommend taking some time to wander around and soak up the history and beautiful architecture!

Nice clean chalet /flat, reception staff was brilliant sorted a problem immediately. Less than 5 minutes to the beach. Excellent value

Last minute holiday, caravan was very clean and well equipped

We had a great time this weekend. The van was clean, modern and close to the beach. The age range of the area is 45-65 but everyone is friendly.

The caravan was excellent, lovely and clean. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. We had a great week with friends and enjoyed all the facilities that are only a stones throw from the caravan site. The pub on site was a nice little place for a quick pint. All in all i would definitely recommend this caravan park.

Had an amazing holiday here, the beach was a couple of minutes away which was really great for the dog walks and amusements was just down the road which was great for the kids. The caravan was really nice and the people were really friendly. definitely go back again.

Lovely and clean and close to the beach, enjoyed going to The White House inn across the road a friendly country pub.
