The holiday home was really well put together and felt quite modern. We especially appreciated the en-suite in the double room - so handy! Everything was in great condition, fixtures and fittings looked almost brand new. Overall, a lovely stay, would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was spotless, beds super comfy, everything we needed was there.

We stayed in a static home from the 3rd to 6th of January and found it to be quite peaceful. Honestly, I’m quite picky but it was lovely-spotlessly clean, cosy and warm, with everything we needed. The only thing was the beds were a bit snug for adults, but perfect for a weekend break.

We had a great stay! The park is lovely and the caravan was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh easily.

We loved the spot! The location is perfect with quick bus rides to Edinburgh or Leith. We've been here in every season and it’s always a lovely, relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Carpets looked pretty grimy and had a strong dog smell, sadly.

Really pleased overall, but had to be cautious when showering because the tray filled up with water. Fixed it by removing hair, though the plug needs unscrewing for proper repair.

We had a lovely time eating at Mortonhall. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. Plenty of choices on the menu and it’s open all day - definitely recommend!

We really like the new caravan, it’s comfy and in a lovely spot.

Haven’t rated facilities as was in mobile home, but used washing machines and ate at the Stables Restaurant which was good. Mobile home Very clean, well equipped and comfy. Towels a very nice extra. Liked mattress and pillow protectors. Quiet where mobile homes are. Tea, coffee and biscuits a nice touch. Good access to Edinburgh via 11 bus and walks from site. Site well kept and tidy.when rating I am rsti g from the perspective of staying in a mobile home not camping.

Caravan site large & very well kept, only £1.80p on the bus into Edinburgh bus stop is at at the park entrance 7 buses run every 10 mins. Perfect for visiting Edinburgh. Park has a small shop for fresh bread etc Also park has pub / restaurant on site. As a pub very good, but as a restaurant we found the food pretty tasteless.Haddock & chips looked fantastic as did the wife's Prawns /chorizo pasta but lacking taste. Restaurant staff fantastic apart, from one lady who was serving never wore a mask on any of our 3 visit's (thought it was still law in Scotland)

Brilliant stay

Lovely place with easy and immediate access to countryside walks and only 20 minutes of a drive to the center of Edinburgh. The caravan was immaculate and well appointed, roomy and cosy with very comfortable beds.

This was our second visit to mortonhall (12years apart) & it didn't disappoint. Every bit as good as our first visit except this time we had a dog with us. A tiny minus on the dog theme would be to have a small fenced area to allow the dog to have a run & do it's business. Overall we will return some day. ??
