We had a lovely stay, the pod was super comfy and really clean. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was great, but it’s a shame the smart TV didn’t connect - would’ve been a nice touch. The only tiny thing was some of the corners in the floor weren’t spotless, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. We’d definitely return!

We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it was quite cosy which we appreciated. However, there were quite a few downsides. No iron or hairdryer and we couldn’t find a chopping board, which was a bit frustrating. Cobwebs and thick dust were noticeable and the hot tub was unusable for us because of the strong chlorine smell that gave us rashes. Also, some squashed bugs on the walls weren’t ideal. Still, it was a peaceful holiday with lovely staff around.

We finally got around to visiting Mouswald Park after lockdown and it was such a lovely experience! The lodge was spotless and felt really modern, with all the essentials we needed. We spent most of our time relaxing in the hot tub - honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The whole site seemed well thought out, especially with safety in mind, which was reassuring. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making everything smooth. We loved the peaceful vibe and didn’t venture off the site at all. Honestly, we’ll definitely return. Thanks for a fantastic, safe weekend away - it was exactly what we needed! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We absolutely loved this park! The setting is stunning and really peaceful. Sure, there’s not much to do on-site and no shop, but that’s part of its charm. We had such a lovely time, already booked for next year - can’t wait!

Could do with a small shop on site and if wanted to get even more people and make a number 1 place in Scotland could invest in a indoor pool would really get more people to stay and something to do on rainy days think it would be a good investment and maybe a bar.went to one in loo Last year and they had all that and it was one of the best sites been all in all a very good place thew things would make this a number 1 site in Scotland

The lodge is beautiful, really big and everything you need is provided (towels, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets etc). It's a 10 ou of 10. The hot tub was perfect. Accommodates 4 people comfortably. The site is very small with lots of trees providing welcome shade during warm days and privacy. It's only a short drive to Dumfries if you need to stock up on food/drinks. People with young families may prefer a more lively venue, with more things to do. It's perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend/holiday.

Lovely place, spotlessly clean and tidy. Sean and Linda the site supervisors are so nice and always about if you need them, will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend.
