Wonderful Safe Weekend Away
This was my first weekend awya with my partner after lockdown and our first time visiting Mouswald Park.
The lodge was very clean and they had defiantly taken the necessary steps to make sure our stay was as safe as possible.
The lodge was modern and quite large. Had all the necessary amenities.
We absolutely loved our stay and spent half the time in the hot tub. We never even left the site once we were enjoying ourselves that much.
The staff were helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend this park to anyone.
I will definitely be back.

Lovely peaceful well kept site. Lodge was beautiful, well stocked and clean. Bedding provided and nice big fluffy towels for coming out the hot tub.

Excellent park. Beautiful location. There isn't anything to do in the park & there is no shop but I'm a firm believer, the holiday is what you make it & we had the best time ever. 3rd visit booked for next year already.

Could do with a small shop on site and if wanted to get even more people and make a number 1 place in Scotland could invest in a indoor pool would really get more people to stay and something to do on rainy days think it would be a good investment and maybe a bar.went to one in loo Last year and they had all that and it was one of the best sites been all in all a very good place thew things would make this a number 1 site in Scotland

The lodge is beautiful, really big and everything you need is provided (towels, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets etc). It's a 10 ou of 10.
The hot tub was perfect. Accommodates 4 people comfortably.
The site is very small with lots of trees providing welcome shade during warm days and privacy.
It's only a short drive to Dumfries if you need to stock up on food/drinks.
People with young families may prefer a more lively venue, with more things to do. It's perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend/holiday.
