Great lodge

Very pleased with the location and the Lodge.

The location is remote but as a base for visiting The Norfolk Coast it was an ideal location for us.Accommodation left a lot to be desired.Sandringham 1(our 2 bed pet friendly bungalow)smelt unsavoury.On a positive it had a well equipped kitchen and the bedding and towels were clean.On a negative note,wallpaper peeling from wall in bathroom,floor got wet through when using the shower and there was mould around the shower.Furniture was very basic and nothing matched.The bedroom floors were filthy with many stains.The wardrobe door in the second bedroom could not be opened.On approach to the site it looks luxurious with lovely lodges,however they have been built around very old bungalows.Parking is a real lottery,if your lucky you will find a space next to the accommodation but more often than not you have a walk which can be lengthy.Maybe we were unlucky and were allocated a more basic accommodation but it has left me not wanting to stay there again which is a shame.All in all I was bitterly disappointed

Very comfortable and well equipped. Everything worked well and the instructions were all very clear. The build was a little poor in places, the kitchen doors did not line up and neither did the window handles but this did not impact on us. The frying pan needs replacing it was dented and badly scratched.

Our bungalow had everything we needed. Very clean and very comfortable. We love the colours of the outside of the properties with their white picket fences. Inside they are spacious with a relaxing vibe.

A week in Mundesley

Very comfortable and very helpful staff.

Rated cleanliness as poor nothing to do with general cleanliness every thing was very good. But the carpet was very dirty it and patches which look like dog urine on it.

Well equipped bungalow but car parking was not ideal.

Excellent place to stay very clean and comfortable, but would recommend the manual instructions actually written for the items that are there

Had everything you need and more for a long weekend. If you are in need of some peace and solitude but not able to spend a lot cost wise then this is a fantastic place to be. The access to go onto the beach I would imagine for less able bodied could be quite difficult. The facilities in the bungalow had more than sufficient equipment ie, kitchen utensils, plates, washer/dryer. A great amount of space in the front garden for the family and "Brian" - the dog to run around. It was great to have 2 en suites, ensuring our teenage daughter had her privacy...and of course her parents too. Would definitely come back!

Lodge was very spacious and comfortable but some of furniture was a bit tired and could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly.

Great location. Great team short distance to the Norfolk broads museum which was very informative

I would advise that the temperature of the shower eas not regulated I would prefer it to have beeb set to a higher temperature

Nice comfortable accommodation with all amenities in a lovely location. outside decking with outside furniture. Clean, although there were heavy stains on the carpet in one area.

Only one thing that could have improved for my husband is having an armchair higher than the settees as he has problems sitting on lower furniture

Some lodges require refurbishment in some ways.TVs out of date especially.Some mattresses need renewing.This does stop us returning in fact booked again.

Basic but adequate holiday accommodation which offers good value for the price Location is fantastic Lovely and quiet Mundesley is lovely but very few places to eat out

Quite and the location suited us for exploring the coast and the north east of The Broads.

Everything required

Loved the hot tub, our dog loved it there, the site is well looked after and the staff are very friendly.

The cottage was really charming and perfect for a peaceful escape. Just a heads up, you’ll hear planes at night since it's close to Stanstead. The hot tub was fantastic!

Another wonderful two weeks at Mundesley Holiday Village. Great location, properties and staff. Everything is beautifully clean and well organised.

Superb accommodation and lovely setting

Lovely quiet village bungalow spotlessly clean

Lodge was lovely with amazing views, staff are friendly and helpful.

A little bit bias as we have had family holidays in the area for the past 5-6 years, however it was the first time we had a 3 bed bungalow and to be honest absolutely loved it. My family consisted of myself, wife, 2 sons, daughter in law, 4 yr old grandson and 2 dogs and the bungalow had plenty of space for us all and the kitchen with everything in it. The area is great for walking your dogs, the site was calm and peaceful plus the games room and gym was now re-opened following covid. The beach is lovely, but if you want the best travel 3 miles to Bacton beach. The Chinese & chippie in the village was excellent for take a-ways and a day out in Yarmouth topped it off. Could have visited a lot more locations and the broads, but not enough time. Definitely be back next year.

Very large spacious chalet to stay in,well equipped and nice location. Very comfortable and clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and loved the location. The beach is perfect and the walk down to it pleasant though the beach path could go with a bit of pruning! One benefit would be a child’s play area as there were a few families present during our stay. Our table parasol didn’t work either so sitting out on hot days without shade not possible, though the extreme heatwave isn’t a likely occurrence again but if we asked I am sure it would have been fixed- we spent lots of time at the beach and had a great time! The bungalow was a good size and suited our needs, big fridge and freezer and lots of equipment to self cater.
