Bright, fresh, well-maintained place

We had a lovely stay! The lodge was really modern and super comfy and the park was peaceful with a great pool and splash park for the kids. Definitely coming back!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it’s got some really nice touches with good fixtures and fittings. The hot tub was a highlight, especially on the first night when it was perfectly hot, which was just what we needed! The lodge park itself has quite a few lodges close together, so it can feel a bit crowded and there's the added noise from the A47 nearby-traffic can be heard both day and night, so bear that in mind. The facilities on-site are well-maintained and easy to book, like the pool and outdoor table for drinks, which was handy. One thing we weren’t too keen on was the cleanliness, especially with everything going on at the moment. Some high touch areas had been removed, but it didn’t ruin our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday and would come back!

We underst and that it's a delivery-only place right now, which is okay. But our order got mixed up with another lodge'sand theirs came to us while ours went elsewhere. By the time we got our food, it was pretty cold. Bit of a letdown!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it’s quite lovely inside. The decor is modern and really well done. We did have to ask for the decking to be cleaned, which was a bit of a shame, but the staff sorted it out quickly. Loved the smart TV and the fast wifi! Definitely a nice break and a refreshing change of scenery.

Overall, Mannington was a lovely lodge and we appreciated how quickly the dishwasher was fixed after it broke. The only real downer was the price-felt a bit steep, probably because everyone’s holiday plans got disrupted. Still, a nice stay!

We recently stayed at this lovely lodge and overall, it was a nice experience. The place was really cosy, but on a hot day, it did get quite warm inside because of those large glass windows. A fan or ceiling fan in the living room would’ve been a real help. Also, it would’ve been great if pets had access to a secure glass area attached to the lodge. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed the cabin, it was spotless and modern, just what we needed. However, it was a bit of a letdown not having the welcome pack ready when we arrived. Had to dash to the shop with only minutes before it closed. Should've been mentioned during booking!

We couldn't actually review the restaurant properly since it was closed due to Covid-19, but we did try the takeaway. It was alright if you don’t fancy cooking, though we’d suggest popping to Waitrose in Swaffham for something a bit nicer. The onsite shop is pretty pricey and not well stocked, but if you forget something, there's a chance you'll find it there. Overall, we had a lovely holiday, the lodge was lovely and the staff we met were really friendly. We’d definitely recommend!

The place was mostly nice, but we did notice a few kitchen items were missing, which was a bit inconvenient. No instruction booklets for appliances either, probably because of COVID. The living room felt a bit tight - maybe rearranging the furniture would help. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall!

The outside space could use a bit of a tidy - cobwebs and dead flies on the decking were a bit off-putting. A broom in the lodge would be such a help. Otherwise, everything else was pretty much spot on!

Air con would really make a difference, especially now. COVID worries!

Great place to unwind, honestly

We stayed at Birchman Premier and honestly, the place was fantastic. The room was spotless, modern and really comfy. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day and the mood lighting made everything feel extra special-so relaxing! The food from the restaurant was lovely and the takeaway service was quick and efficient. It was a bit of a let-down that the restaurant wasn’t open, especially since they could have, but I suppose that’s just how it goes sometimes. The woodl and walk was closed for drainage, which was a shame, but overall we had a really lovely weekend and would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our short escape after the long lockdown. Norfolk Woods felt peaceful and calm, probably because some amenities weren’t open yet. The staff were super friendly and check-in was straightforward and safe. The site’s new and nicely planned, with enough space between lodges. Hopefully, we’ll return once everything’s up and running fully!

We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge looked stunning and the hot tub was a definite highlight. Only downside was the shower and bath, which weren’t very strong and the water stayed quite tepid. Still, great trip overall!

Relaxing break during tough times

The lodge was spacious, clean and very modern. The park was also clean and the children loved the facilities. The kids jet skis and arts and crafts sessions were a hit!

Everything was amazing. The spa was really good. We had an amazing time. The activities on offer are brilliant, all of the staff were amazing. We will definitely be returning. The only thing we did say was that to maybe have a kiddies disco on just for an hour would be really good.

Not informed of wayer cuts to be aware of problems around and prepare

From the minute we arrived, we were impressed with the high standard of customer service. Reception staff really welcoming. Our lodge was beautiful, very high spec throughout, decorated beautifully. Fully equipped kitchen so everything you need if you did self catering. I dont cook when im on holiday, toast for breakfast is my limit ... so we used the restaurant every day we were there. The food was exceptional, a good menu to suit all tastes. The restuarant/bar staff were very good, very helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices on food and drinks too which can be unusual in these sort of places. We had a really lovely stay, explored the areas surrounding. The gym was a welcome surprise, really up to date equipment and was used during our stay. Would definitely return here.
