The static and layout are decent, but all the pans were scratched and lacking any non-stick coating, so I couldn't actually use them. Quite disappointing.

It’s just not big enough for five of us. We also have a dog, so that makes it even tighter. Honestly, we were a bit disappointed with the space. It’s really more suited for smaller groups, not five. Would’ve been great if it was a tad bigger. We tried to make it work, but it was cramped. Wish they’d mention the size limitations upfront. Definitely not ideal for larger families or groups. Oh well, lesson learned for next time!

We stayed in the caravan and found it generally comfy and pretty clean, though it did have some minor dings and holes in the walls and doors. It was well-equipped with a microwave, oven, grill and hob, plus decent utensils. No sharp knives, which was a bit of a shame, but overall, the central heating kept us warm on chilly nights. Not bad at all!

We recently stayed in this caravan with a group of five adults, two kids and our dog. Overall, it was pretty much what we needed - lovely place, clean and well located. However, we did run into a bit of a hair issue; despite our dog not shedding, we found dog hairs all over the floor when we arrived. It was a bit of a surprise. When we tried to use the sofa bed, it was covered in hair too, so we had to give it a proper clean before it was usable. As an asthmatic, that was a bit of a downer on our first night. Still, considering the price and the location, it was a good find. Just wish the cleaning had been a bit more thorough!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the place. The listing promised a washing machine and dishwasher, but neither was there and the cutlery supply was pretty sparse. The towels were missing too, only a half-used toilet roll left behind. The TV was much smaller than expected and the fire didn’t really work. The pans were covered in old grease. Not what we’ve come to expect from previous stays.

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The location was really lovely and a great spot for exploring Northumberland, which we enjoyed. However, the caravan itself was a bit of a let-down; there was no washing machine and, unfortunately, the laundry facilities at the park were broken all week, which was pretty inconvenient for our family of 8! Also, we were surprised to find no toilet roll in the ensuite and no TV in the main bedroom - considering we booked for such a big group, these little touches would’ve made a difference. The Saturday night entertainment was quite wild - it felt more like a nightclub from the late 90s or early 2000s, with people wandering around with wide eyes and jaws dropping. Not really suitable for families, especially with young children around. Overall, it was okay, but these issues definitely affected our stay.

We really enjoyed our time here and honestly wish we’d stayed longer. The location is perfect, with a stunning beach nearby. Staff were super friendly, the facilities were clean and we’d definitely return for another week!

We recently had a quick getaway with the hubby and overall, it was a decent stay. The reception team were really friendly and gave us our welcome pack and keys without any fuss. Our caravan was just right for what we needed, beds all made up. Only thing was, the carpets could have done with a proper vacuum and we hope they clean the seating areas and mattresses regularly. Would’ve been nice to get some local tips too, but still, we’d recommend it.

The caravan was okay, but honestly, we hated the park. Our other van was gross and there weren’t enough dishes for everyone at all.

The breakfast was great value, but sadly, the other meals didn’t quite match up quality-wise for the price. The service, however, was really friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We’d definitely go back just for the breakfast again, it was spot on!

Couldn’t believe there were no towels or cleaning supplies provided.

We had a lovely 3-day stay and honestly, the weather didn’t ruin a thing! We’ve stayed in lodges a few times now and each visit just gets better. Can’t wait for June’s trip! It really feels like a second home. Big shoutout to the staff-they were so friendly and helpful. Well done, Sandy Bay!

We had an amazing holiday, honestly! Visiting places like Banbury Castle, Seahouses, The Angel of the North, Morpeth and Woodbury Museum was just fantastic. We loved it!

We stayed at Newborough and honestly, it had everything we needed. The central heating was a lifesaver, especially since we went during a cold, wet week. Would definitely return!

Perfect for our little trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. The double room was spacious and had a nice en-suite, which was a bonus. The shower room was thoughtfully laid out, with handy shelves and a radiator for towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and the big Freeview TV was a nice touch. We couldn't find anything wrong with this place!

The lodge was lovely, exactly what we hoped for from a new place.
