Great place for families, breakfast was a hit, just wish beds were a bit wider.

We had a lovely time overall. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, which made everything easier. The food was good, although a bit pricey, but that’s pretty normal for a holiday spot. We’d definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan felt just right-modern yet cosy, especially with that electric log burner style fire in the lounge which added a lovely touch. The en-suite in the master bedroom was really handy and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of space and storage all around, really couldn’t ask for more!

Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The caravan was comfy and well-equipped with all the kitchen essentials. Having two bathrooms was really handy. The toilet door didn’t lock at first, but they sorted it out quickly. The only thing was no toilet paper, but I usually bring my own anyway. Not a big deal!

Honestly, this van was a real letdown. It was in pretty bad shape and the issues we found definitely should’ve been fixed before we moved in. Quite disappointing!

We always like stopping by Southview! The entertainment is decent and the staff really do make you feel welcome. Having a regular bus on site is super handy too. But yeah, the bar prices are a bit steep, so a family night out there can get pricey. The cleanliness of the mattress could be better - noticed that when the top sherry was out. Also, no toilet roll in the en-suite and a few curtain hooks hanging loose when we arrived. Luckily, none of it ruined our stay though. Would visit again!

We loved the caravan! Plenty of space for the four of us and it had all the essentials we needed.

The place was alright, but next time we’ll definitely go for a larger caravan. Lovely spot though!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The caravan was spotless and comfy and the site looked after. Couldn’t get through on the phone, but no big deal. Plenty for the kids to keep busy too.

Overall, we had a pretty good holiday. The caravan was really nice and the layout suited us and our dog perfectly. It was comfy, but we did notice some marks that suggested it hadn’t been deep cleaned before we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. The flooring was a bit damaged around the sofa too. We didn’t get to try the restaurant because of the smell from the cat drains, which apparently is out of their control, but the boat house was lovely. We appreciated being able to take our dog outside since most places didn’t allow them. The clubhouse is perfect for families and the entrance is lovely. It’s a lively site, so if you want an early night, maybe not the best place, but we enjoyed it!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the state of the caravan. The bathrooms were grimy, with toothpaste everywhere and the carpet and sofa were stained and filthy. There was a dirty tissue just left above the cooker in the kitchen, which was a bit gross. The sofa cushions had hairs, food wrappers and tissues stuffed in between, not cleaned at all. We had to scrub the showers ourselves before using them, which was not what we expected. Not great at all.

The caravan was lovely, but we arrived to find loads of ants on the worktops which was a bit of a nightmare. Also, the facilities kept shutting and the prices for food in the shop and restaurants were way too high. Not great overall.

Despite the hassle of queuing in the rain during COVID restrictions, we finally got in and really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to return when things are back to normal. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and plan to stay longer next time. Thanks for a great experience, we’ll be back!

Great spot, highly recommend

This stay was a bit of a mixed bag. When we arrived, one bedroom was a real mess - dirty tissues all over and the beds were unmade, with stained mattresses. Considering we couldn’t arrive until 5pm because of current rules, expecting a proper clean beforeh and seemed reasonable, but it wasn’t great. The good thing is, the reception staff were very apologetic and sent someone quickly to tidy up. They also mentioned a mattress would be replaced, but that never happened. Luckily, it was just a spare bed, so it didn’t really impact us much. Still, not the best first impression!

We really enjoyed our stay, looking forward to booking longer soon.

We had to book last minute after another place fell through, so we didn’t have high expectations. The park’s facilities and activities were pretty limited, which made the extra cost for staying on a branded site seem a bit pointless. The caravan itself was decent and most of the staff we met were friendly and polite, apart from the receptionist who was a bit clueless. The pitch was a bit tired looking, but a quick tidy-up could fix that easily. Not the worst, but not great either.

Had a great holiday

Great holiday, lots to do and 5 mins drive to the beach !!

We had a lovely holiday and so much to do onsite there is additional charges but worth the money, staff are really friendly, polite and helpful. The site has lots going on and lots only a short car or bus journey away. I will definitely be using this site again. The only negative is the caravan only had 1 plug socket in the bedrooms so remember a few extension leads but everything else was perfect thank you
