We had a fantastic time staying here! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was so lovely. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for Archie - felt safe and secure. The location couldn’t have been better, with loads of walks nearby and charming villages like Thaxted to explore. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The place itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered exterior and a really comfy bed. The shower is powerful and the cosy kitchen combined with the living space makes it feel like home. Parking was a breeze right next to the cottage and it’s spotlessly clean. Perfect location for walks in the fields and exploring Thaxted’s pretty streets. We’ll definitely return!

The bath was just fantastic and the shower was nice and spacious. Being on a flight path didn’t bother us at all - honestly, we barely noticed. Perfect spot for dogs who dislike fireworks, tucked away in peaceful surroundings. Thanks a lot!

The welcome pack was thoughtful, with all the info and menus sorted, which made everything so easy. The little extras for our dogs and us were a lovely touch. The enclosed garden kept the pups safe and happy and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day. Sharon and Rob were quick to respond whenever we had questions. Definitely a great place for a relaxing break!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage had everything we could think of, super well-equipped. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Despite being on a working farm, it felt like a peaceful retreat. Brilliant!

We needed a proper dog walking getaway and found this place absolutely perfect. The accommodation was top-notch, with lovely pubs and eateries just a short stroll away. Miles of fields and trails meant the dog didn’t want to leave. Brilliant!

The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - absolutely loved it! A heads up though, the cottage is quite close to Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us after a while, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s worth knowing. Overall, a great find!

We had such a lovely weekend at this place! Everything we hoped for was there and we really enjoyed our stay. The dogs had a blast with the underfloor heating and running around outside. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but the pups were clearly happy. We’re already planning to come back soon!
