The chalet is small, cosy and practical - perfect for it's purpose as somewhere to sleep and store your stuff! The pet friendly chalet has a fenced in garden area so my dogs were able to sit and watch the world go by. It's an easy walk down to a lovely unspoiled sandy beach and the onsite shop is decent. We loved our stay here.

We had a fantastic time staying here! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was so lovely. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for Archie - felt safe and secure. The location couldnt have been better, with loads of walks nearby and charming villages like Thaxted to explore. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Wouldnt hesitate to come back again!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. The place itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered exterior and a really comfy bed. The shower is powerful and the cosy kitchen combined with the living space makes it feel like home. Parking was a breeze right next to the cottage and its spotlessly clean. Perfect location for walks in the fields and exploring Thaxteds pretty streets. Well definitely return!

The bath was just fantastic and the shower was nice and spacious. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all - honestly, we barely noticed. Perfect spot for dogs who dislike fireworks, tucked away in peaceful surroundings. Thanks a lot!

The welcome pack was thoughtful, with all the info and menus sorted, which made everything so easy. The little extras for our dogs and us were a lovely touch. The enclosed garden kept the pups safe and happy and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day. Sharon and Rob were quick to respond whenever we had questions. Definitely a great place for a relaxing break!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage had everything we could think of, super well-equipped. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Despite being on a working farm, it felt like a peaceful retreat. Brilliant!

We needed a proper dog walking getaway and found this place absolutely perfect. The accommodation was top-notch, with lovely pubs and eateries just a short stroll away. Miles of fields and trails meant the dog didnt want to leave. Brilliant!

Plenty of nice walks nearby, especially around Thaxteds pretty half-timbered streets. Wed definitely come back!

The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling around. One thing to note: its right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt spoil our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed stay!

The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - absolutely loved it! A heads up though, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us after a while, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a great find!

We had such a lovely weekend at this place! Everything we hoped for was there and we really enjoyed our stay. The dogs had a blast with the underfloor heating and running around outside. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but the pups were clearly happy. Were already planning to come back soon!
