WE HAVE USED A CARAVAN AT WOOLER TWICE PER YEAR FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS FOR GOLFING HOLIDAYS IN THE AREA.LAST YEAR WE ALSO USED IT FOR A SUMMER FAMILY HOLIDAY AND FOUND IT QUIET,CONVENIENT AND IDEAL FOR A BREAK WHERE THE AGE RANGE WAS 8 TO 68.THE BEACHES AROUND BAMBURGH ARE AS GOOD AS ANYTHING IN THE SOUTH AND THE AVALABILITY OF OF GOOD FOOD IN THE AREA IS FAR BETTER.GO INTO A PUB AND YOU ARE TALKING TO THE LOCALS WITHIN MINUTES.WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT

The caravan was pretty roomy and mostly tidy, but we did notice some cushions hadn't been taken off during cleaning - pens and food were still underneath. Apart from that, we didn’t have any other issues with the place.

Overall, we found the place quite tidy and comfortable. The kitchen stuff was a bit random and there were a few marks on the furniture, but nothing too surprising. Would stay again!

We loved the overall feel of the place - spacious and cosy, perfect for a relaxing break. That said, it could do with a bit of TLC; the woodwork around the cabin was rotting and had a hole, plus it was covered in dry leaves that hadn’t been cleared. The sofas looked quite worn and could use a good clean or replacing. Also, the dining chairs had rips and the bathroom option was a bit misleading since it only had a bath, not a shower. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

We recently rented several caravans and found them to be more spacious than the pictures suggested. The extra toilet in all 7 units was a big plus for our family of 4-6, making things much easier. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful-both over the phone and in person. The caretaker lady was particularly polite and professional, which we appreciated. The security on-site was really accommodating too; they went out of their way to help us with extra requests, no fuss at all. Also, the cleaning lady was super patient during check-out, even when we asked for an hour longer-she was always smiling, which made everything so much better. Overall, we had a great stay!

We stayed in this lovely caravan and loved how spacious and spotlessly clean it was. The beds were super comfy and the shower had great pressure. Only thing missing was a DVD player-would’ve been perfect. Wifi was a bit of a pain to access, though.

Overall, we found the caravan to be quite clean and well-equipped, which was great. That said, there were a few little issues that did bother us a bit. The toilet door wouldn’t open from the inside and the shower pipe was broken, so the water barely dribbled. Nothing too major, but it did make us feel like the place needed a bit of a refresh. We’ve stayed here before and it did seem like the maintenance wasn’t quite up to scratch this time around. Still, it’s a decent spot for a break.

We booked this place for our birthday and honestly, it was brilliant! The location is stunning and the vans are really spacious with everything you might need - towels, cutlery, bedding, even frying pans. The large fridge freezer was a bonus and there’s an iron and hairdryer too. Parking right next to the vans fits two cars easily, which was handy. The real highlight though is the ducks wandering around, they add such a charming touch. Plus, having access to the swimming pool and hot tub (booking in advance) makes it even better. Everything was well looked after, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Overall, we had a decent stay, especially considering how affordable it was. The main issue was the mattress - honestly, it felt like sleeping on a bed of nails at first. We did mention it to reception, but they didn’t follow up, so on the second night, we just flipped it over ourselves, which helped a bit. When the cleaning staff came by to drop off fresh linen, we mentioned the mattress again and he was quite apologetic, saying he hadn’t been told about the problem. Despite that, it was a good value for the price and a mostly pleasant stay.

We stayed in this caravan and honestly, it surprised us! For the price, it was way better than we thought it’d be. Everything was spotless and in great shape. The fridge and freezer were pretty roomy and the oven worked like a charm. The bathroom was a decent size with a powerful shower, which was lovely. Beds were comfy, though some extra wardrobe space in the bedroom would’ve been handy. Still, we had a great stay!

The caravan looked great online, but we were disappointed to find dog hair everywhere-on the couch, carpets and in the bedrooms. Not what we expected!

We've stayed here before and it’s clear this lodge is a bit older, but it’s still comfy and well-equipped. All the appliances you’d need were there and the heating kept us cosy during those chilly nights - loving that you can switch it off when you don’t need it! The staff on-site were really friendly and quick to help; they even brought us extra towels without any fuss. Wooler itself is a lovely little town within walking distance, with some great spots to eat - we especially enjoyed the Italian place, plus there’s a Chinese and fish & chips too. Perfect base for exploring Morpeth, Berwick and Alnwick. Would definitely come back!

Overall, the Ivy Caravan 2 worked well for us as a family of four over four nights. It’s quite practical and comfy, though we did wish there were sockets by the bedside cabinets. Still, good stay!

Overall, we had a decent stay. The caravan was spacious and there was plenty of outdoor area to enjoy. It’s a shame it didn’t come with decking, especially when the sun was shining-it would've been perfect. The main gripe is that it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned; there were crumbs and marks on the tables, which was a bit off. Also, a few basic gadgets like a cheese grater and a square oven dish were missing. Nothing major, but worth noting!

A fantastic break. Our caravan was in the new part of the park and was immaculately clean. Wi-Fi was very weak which meant we had a complete break from technology??.

Amazing holiday will Defintely re book

This was a beautiful site, the caravan was so clean and little touches of soaps and shower gels and shampoo was really nice. The standard of accommodation was excellent, modern and very comfortable. Customer service was also really good, nothing was a bother and first night we arrived a member of staff came to the caravan to check everything was okay. The bed linen was pristine and excellent quality as were the towels. The pool was great and the gentleman that was running it was really helpful and friendly. The only little suggestion would be a little longer than 45 minutes a day session in the pool, we would have happily paid extra for a pool pass. Other than that the whole holiday was a relaxing in gorgeous surroundings with friendly and professional staff.

Was very welcoming staff all social and friendly very approachable. Would definitely recommend to all that want a nice relaxing break. Will be visiting again myself.

Loved the caravan and the site. Everyone was helpful and pleasant and all was spotless and clean

This was our first time staying at Riverside. The caravan was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were on the side with new playground which my kids loved. Short walk into town CO-OP near by. The pool was a good size but you do have to book your time. My kids enjoyed the game room but beware you can only collect prizes at specific times which was not posted.
Bruce
Excellent site the caravan was as it stated in the brochure. For such a large site it was really peaceful and we had a lovely few days chilling out. We would recommend it to anyone and we'll definitely be going back. Thanks
