We stayed at the caravan recently and honestly, it was just okay. The place wasn’t spotless-dirty laundry was still in the cupboards, oven trays were missing and cobwebs were noticeable. The caravan looked modern, but without any secondary lighting, it was either bright or pitch black. Not much else to add!

The spot is gorgeous and great value, but our caravan (247) was quite stinky and the heating was broken. We adore the area, but sadly, we won’t be staying in that caravan again. Shame really!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge; it was charming and the area around it is stunning. However, we did find the outside lighting quite poor at night, which made taking the dog out a bit tricky-even with a torch, it wasn't ideal. We get it’s in the countryside, but better lighting would definitely help. Still, overall a lovely place!

Overall, the place was pretty decent, but we really missed having an oven glove, washing up liquid and a table cloth. We should’ve brought our own, honestly!

We stayed in the Ash caravan and noticed it’s starting to show some wear. The flooring was coming loose and the sofa wasn’t the coziest. The steps to the veranda are a bit wobbly too. Beds are comfy and having two bathrooms is a plus, but fitting 8 might be a squeeze.

We recently spent a long weekend here and honestly, it was quite enjoyable. The lodges might be a bit on the older side, but they were spotless, well stocked and pretty cosy overall. A couple of scatter cushions on the sofa would’ve made it even comfier, but no biggie. The main letdown was the high chair and travel cot we paid for - they didn’t arrive until 6:30 pm, which was way past dinner time for the baby and pushed bedtimes very late. It would be much better if these essentials were already in the lodge when we arrived. The pool was fantastic, especially with all the toys laid out for the kids to play with. It’s a shame there aren’t more family changing rooms or baby changing tables, as that would really help. Sadly, the pool was closed on our last day and no one told us - I even asked about swimming that day! That was disappointing, especially for the kids. The soft play and play park are perfect for little ones too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back to this beautiful part of Cornwall. We’d definitely visit St Minver again!

We booked the White Beam but ended up with the Elm-really disappointing and confusing indeed!

The place works well as a quiet base during the off-season, but we wouldn’t return once the kids are out of school. It’s great they accept dogs, though the owners should be more diligent about picking up poo. The dog waste bin also needs more frequent emptying!

Honestly, our arrival was quite a mess. We were handed a map and keys, but as soon as we got into the caravan, we realised someone else's stuff was inside! Just as we were about to head back, the actual occupants appeared, horrified to see us there. The reception called it a human error and gave us different keys, which was frustrating. The second van wasn’t much better - several bulbs were out, curtains hanging off and stained cups left behind. It definitely felt like it hadn’t been cleaned properly, which isn’t what you want when starting a holiday. Not the best first impression, that’s for sure!

We were moved to the lodge after a mishap with our initial place and honestly, it turned out to be a pretty good spot. The place was spotless and pretty comfy, with lovely views and handy facilities inside. The only hiccups were with the showers - one got fixed during our stay, while the other was waiting on parts. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making sure our concerns were sorted. After a bumpy start, we had a lovely holiday!

We stayed in the caravan and it was okay overall. There are 2 toilets and 3 bedrooms, which suited our family of 2 adults and 3 kids pretty well. One bedroom light was out, but we managed with a lamp. The cutlery wasn’t very clean, which was a bit disappointing. Still, for the price, it was alright.

Even though we didn’t spend much time inside, the lodge was lovely - super comfy bed, plenty of storage and two bathrooms. It warmed up fast and October was so peaceful. We’d definitely return, it’s such a great spot for a relaxed break!

We were really pleased with our stay overall. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help, especially when our car broke down and we needed an extra night. The surprise upgrade was a lovely touch! Only downside was the breakfast, as there wasn’t anything on the kids menu for our toddlers, which was a bit of a let-down. But other than that, everything was spot on and we’ll definitely come back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location is lovely and perfect for relaxing away from city life. The only grumble was the WiFi - O2 network was pretty much dead, so internet was only usable in the restaurant. Also, the pool hours could be more flexible. Still, a great place!

Lovely clean accommodation, beautiful laid out park. Expected bigger restaurant and entertainment area. Amazing location. Great holiday had by all

Caravan didn’t have an Iron, and I needed one as I was attending a wedding. I went to reception to ask for one but it never arrived, so I used the laundrettes. The iron int he laundrette had black stuff on it which burnt onto my white shirt. I should have checked it to be fair but other than that, couldn’t fault it.

Long weekend away with family. Small and quiet park which suited us fine. Didn't use pool so can't comment on it. Our caravan was clean and well equipped. Overall a nice relaxing few days away.
Edina
Very clean and we'll organised. Club room had a veranda overlooking the play area so kids can play and parents can keep an eye on them while enjoying a drink. Chalet was clean, well maintained and we'll stocked. Beds were comfortable. We didn't try the food so can't comment. We also didn't attend the entertainment so can't comment. Pool was clean and up to date.

Very good site our accommodation was very good and clean on arrival

A good campsite in a beautiful setting and location. The facilities were great, we didn’t use the pool due to time restrictions but the shop and bar were excellent. The caravan was ok, let down by not being particularly clean. There were cobwebs and all the doors were grubby. We didn’t have bed linen for one of the rooms which was rectified but not with enough sheets, and there was a leak from a radiator which I reported but wasn’t repaired. There were several cracks and bits of damage on the kitchen cupboards. None of this affected our stay but the construction work surrounding us did. 2 new bases were being put in and for 3 days there was considerable noise from the work, and it made for an unsightly view. The manager of the site gave us a complementary breakfast for our inconvenience. We went out everyday but if you were hoping to have a quiet break sitting in your caravan it would have been intolerable.

Loved our holiday here and loved the facilities. Perfect for everyone. The soft play was great as a little activity for our toddler. The arcade was clean and a nice size. The show room was good for a bit of entertainment and a sit down. The pool was clean and big.
