We recently stayed at Tolroy Manor and honestly, it was quite a decent little spot for a family break. The location is pretty handy-Hayle is just a short drive away with plenty of shops, restaurants and the lovely beach by the estuary. We spent a lot of time exploring the nearby beaches at Hayle Towans and Gwithian, which are just a quick 5-10 minute drive. The site itself is small but has all the basics covered, like an indoor pool, outdoor tennis, mini golf, squash court and a playground-that kept the kids entertained. Our bungalow was a simple, no-frills three-bedroom place. It was clean and comfy enough, though a bit on the dated side. It would’ve been nice if they’d stocked a few more kitchen essentials-some soap, frying pans, that sort of thing. We had to bring towels, toilet roll, washing-up liquid and food ourselves. The bed linen was provided, but we had to make the beds ourselves. The village could probably do with a bit of a facelift, especially the restaurant area which was closed for refurb and looked a bit tired. Still, the staff were lovely-friendly and eager to help, which made a big difference. Overall, it’s good value for money if you’re after a basic, no-fuss holiday with plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed our stay despite the little quirks!

Overall, a decent stay, but the beds weren’t made when we arrived, which was a bit of a surprise. Sheets were clean but marked up. Could really do with a proper deep clean, though. Still, comfy enough for our weekend.

Honestly, we’ve had some pretty dodgy experiences with pet stays before, so we were a bit wary. But this place was actually really nice - super clean, modern and comfortable. Sadly, we couldn’t bring all our dogs this time because of unexpected puppies, but overall, we’re happy with it!

We enjoyed the lovely setting, but honestly, the entertainment was a letdown since there was nothing happening. Some staff were quite rude, which was disappointing. We also struggled with the water issues and honestly, it was just too much hassle. Won’t be returning to that place again.

The place was spotless and we felt comfortable overall. The only thing that was a bit awkward was the large sofa, which had been mended with a piece of wood. Sitting on it wasn’t very comfy at all!

We both agree this place is fantastic. We visited in May 2019 with our family and grandkids for my wife's 50th - had such a brilliant time! Then, in October, we came back for a cosy Monday to Thursday break with our dog and loved every minute. Definitely planning to return in 2020, no doubt about it!

We stayed here recently and honestly, the place was better than we thought it would be. The heating worked well and the bed was super comfy with nice linen. The kitchen had some appliances, though the microwave felt a bit past it and we couldn’t find a chopping board. We didn’t try any meals or entertainment since it started quite late and looked a bit dull. The shop was well stocked and friendly, which was a bonus. The swimming pool was out of order when we tried to go, but overall, a decent stay!

Really great holiday and lovely facilities. The staff in the shop were fantastic, friendly and helpful. I think the other staff in the reception and bar should shadow them to see how to engage and deal with customers.

Basic but you get what you pay for Clean and lots of kitchen wear foysty Smell

We had a great time here. The accommodation was clean and more than adequate. The children made the most of the swimming pool and outdoor activities. The only downside was the restaurant- the wait times for food were over an hour and the quality of the food was average. That said, we would come back. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Just come back from a fabulous 2 weeks holiday at Tolroy manor. A very warm welcome from the staff on arrival. Accommodation was lovely and was ready for us early. My children loved the tennis crazy golf and swimming on site. Bar and entertainment staff were fabulous and made some life long friends. We will be booking again for October, can’t wait to return

Nice site accommodation could do with a spruce up but then the price we paid it was better than expected it’s set in an ideal location for all the attractions and beaches philps bakery down the road is a must
