Loved every second spent at Exmoor Gate Lodge. We stayed in Dunkery Lodge and couldn't fault it. Lovely private outside space with a fabulous hot tub, surrounded by woods and fields. Very clean and tidy with everything you could need. Will definitely be back. Thank you Diane and Gary for a fantastic week.

Christmas Day in a hot tub , pure luxury .
Lodge had all the facilities required ,washing machine ,drying racks,dishwasher , DVD player . We were provided with disposable cooking trays for our Christmas turkey ,a mini Christmas tree was provided , mince pies and biscuits ,very thoughtful- thank you .
Definitely would recommend.

There reasonable alternatives if you think in terms of utility and cost basis.
Positive things:very helpful perfect staff nice lodge nice location hot tub
Negative things: after paying reasonable amount and drive 4 hours still charge for electricity is not acceptable especially if max cost can be £10 -15 really not nice

The lodge was ideally situated and had everything we needed. The owners were very welcoming and I would certainly book the lodge again.

I felt it was a little expensive for 2 people but I understand that it was a lodge accommodated 5 people, so was priced accordingly. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and everything kept in good working order throughout our stay. (The bathroom heater was not working on our arrival but was quickly repaired).

Recommend this holiday cottage to anyone. We are so relaxed we didn't want to come home.

Perfect holiday accommodation and hospitality from the owners. I can’t recommend this place enough, we had ever We needed right in our doorstep. Beautiful scenery and games room to keep the kids occupied. Thoroughly enjoyed the swimming too. See you guys on our return journey back to visit soon

We had a wonderful short break at Exmoor gate. The lodge was really clean and perfectly well equipped. Super hot tub and the location was just idyllic being right next to fields and woodland. Gary was a great, super helpful and responsive staff, nothing was too much trouble and he was full of intonation about local walks and places to eat/drink and get supplies. We loved having private use of the pool and the games room was a bonus too. We would definitely return, thanks for a great holiday.

Absolutely brilliant holiday. Owners were so friendly, engaging and helpful with lots of advice about things to do in the area even with a young baby!
The lodge was lovely and big and the hot tub was a real treat! We loved being able to book the pool for just the three of us and the games room was great. It was so peaceful and we would recommend it to anyone!

Very fortunate with the weather. Lovely setting very quiet. We probably did not take advantage of the extras on offer such as pool because the time passed too quickly.

A great place to explore Exmoor and the surrounds. Ideally located for both North and South Devon coasts and the whole of Exmoor.
The lodge was clean, tidy and very well presented, excellent views of the hills across the valley and the hot tub which was very private looked out over open woodland.

We had a lovely weekend at exmoor Lodge, it was for my husbands birthday, and we could not of been made to feel more welcome. Would def recommend a visit.

We had a wonderful mid week break at the lodges. Exceptionaly clean and the hot tub was great. The local pub The Rock served some of the best food we have ever had. If you want to find a place to syat in Mirror water, this is it. 100/100. John and Nhu from Vietnam

Beautiful lodge in lovely location. The accommodation is of a high standard and the owners have thought of every detail. Perfect place for a quiet, relaxing break away.

Lovely place to stay accommodation was clean very well kitted out with necessities to make for a comfortable stay. Host were amazing nothing was too much trouble. A larger area for kids to run around somewhere within the site would have been an added bonus. Scenery was lovely felt in the heart of the countryside. Hot tub area was private and not overlooked used the games room multiple times kids loved it and all very good value for money. Private pool was well worth a visit clean warm and plenty of toys for kids. would love to return for another stay.

Lovely setting, the lodge was clean and everything you could need was there . It’s peaceful and full of wonderful wildlife all around. A bit too hilly for walking for me and roads around don’t have paths always. The villages near are really friendly and most shops and pubs are dog friendly.

A great holiday, Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great and very central to various attractions. Surrounded by woodland and wildlife, it was very quiet and peaceful. Had a great stay and will definitely return again.
