Nice spot, worth visiting

Nice and tidy caravan, but the twin beds are quite short, sadly.

The site was well organised, making everything easy to find. Staff were super friendly too. Could use more restaurant options, though! Entertainment was quite enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The staff were genuinely friendly and always willing to help, which made a big difference. There’s plenty to do around the park, so the kids were kept busy. A couple of things outside the caravan could do with some maintenance, but nothing major. It was pretty clear that COVID-19 restrictions affected some services, so we weren’t expecting everything to be perfect. The park was clean and well-kept, which we appreciated. We didn’t dine at the restaurant, so can’t comment on that. The kids’ sundae was a bit slow to arrive, but it didn’t ruin the fun. Definitely thinking of coming back!

We didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant since we usually prefer eating out during the day. The caravan suited our needs perfectly, especially with the nice TV to catch the sport while relaxing. Really pleased with it!

Very comfortable stay

We had a pretty decent stay here while exploring the more remote parts of Kent. The accommodation was comfortable enough and we really liked the verandah decking - made it feel a bit more special. The on-site shop isn't the biggest, which could be improved, especially considering the size of the park. The Ash caravan’s three bedrooms are nice, but we found the two-bed version to have a more spacious main bedroom, even though they’re the same size. All in all, we’d recommend Two Chimneys for a relaxing getaway.

The caravan was tidy and had everything we needed, though it did look a bit dated. The mattresses weren’t the comfiest, quite lumpy and springy really. Still, we enjoyed it!

What a lovely static home for our family of six! It really had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The layout was spacious and perfect for all of us. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a breeze. The location was great too, close to shops and attractions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we'd highly recommend it to others looking for a family getaway!

We had the most enjoyable holiday ever! We spent a week at Two Chimneys and would absolutely go back. The site was really clean and well kept. Our caravan was lovely, clean and spacious, perfect for a comfortable week with our 8-month-old! It’s an excellent base for discovering the north Kent coast and we can't wait to return to Two Chimneys!

We're really happy with every part of our holiday. The site is lovely and clean, with plenty of play areas for the kids. The staff were so helpful and we found the launderette to be brilliant! It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks a lot!

We've stayed here several times and it’s been a great holiday as always. It’s a shame they’ve gotten rid of the hot tub and the pool closes really early, like 5pm some nights and doesn’t open to the general park until 10am. We’re not sure how the 9-hole golf course is going to add to the park if it’s ever ready... it's been 'coming soon' since our last holiday here 3 years ago and it still looks ages away from completion. A better stocked shop or a takeaway open in the evenings would probably add more to the park than a golf course. Nevertheless, it's a great park right in the centre of Thanet, with loads of blue flag beaches just a stone's throw away!

We had a lovely stay, but our only criticims would be about the double bed. The quality wasn't great. You could feel the mattress springs when lying down and it definitely wasn’t comfortable. Also, the mattress was way too soft for our liking.

We stayed for four days on a mid-week break. The site and all the amenities were really clean and tidy. The staff were super welcoming when we arrived and even opened the shop for us to grab some essential food supplies we had forgotten to bring! Our caravan was extremely clean and tidy, warm and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the toaster is quite small and the grill on the oven was ineffective, so we couldn't have toast in the mornings. The location is decent, though it feels a bit isolated if you want to walk since the roads are quite narrow and there are no footpaths. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Birchington Vale is a very nice site with lovely caravans and lodges. Also camping pods which were very popular. The staff were very helpful and nice and cheerful when I was walking the dog at 5.30am.

Despite the covid climate, we had a great time! Staff were friendly and entertainment was good. Our caravan was brand new. Only negative was the low water pressure meant no heating until about 10pm which was very cold! Would like to go back as a good location, with lots of nice scenery nearby and pleasant beaches to visit

Lovely accommodation, shame the dishwasher wasn't working throughout the stay. Otherwise very clean and well maintained lodge.
