The lodge could do with some repairs and replacing a few fittings, but overall still decent stay.

Had a lovely stay! The scenery was stunning and super peaceful. The lodge had everything we needed - couldn’t ask for more really.

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was quite lovely. The place was really spacious and clean, with stunning mountain views that made our mornings special. It’s a bit remote, which we liked because it meant peace and quiet, plus it’s only a short drive to local attractions. The staff were super friendly, which made our stay even better. The only downside was having to strip beds and check meters for gas and electric when leaving - feels a bit old-fashioned, especially since we thought Covid restrictions were easing. Still, we’d definitely come back!

Great stay, would do again!

Honestly, we had a fantastic stay here! It was our first time at this place and we stayed in Lodge 6 - a three-bedroom setup that really had everything we needed. The double with en suite was comfy, the twin rooms were spacious and the small twin was perfect for the kids. We brought loads of things like tea towels and cleaning stuff, but turned out we didn’t need to because the lodge was fully equipped - even a hoover, ironing board and iron were provided. The park itself is super peaceful, just what we wanted for a relaxing family weekend. There’s a shop nearby for any essentials and the views of the Ochil Hills are stunning. On-site restaurant was great too - just remember to book, as it gets busy. The staff were really friendly and helpful, calling us early to let us know the lodge was ready so we could check in sooner. The only thing is, you pay for electricity and gas at checkout, but it’s not much. Overall, we loved the quiet, friendly atmosphere and can’t wait to come back!

We loved the peaceful spot for parking and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. The lodge was super comfy and clean. Would be perfect with a covered bar area-shame it’s not dog friendly!

We loved how roomy and comfy it was. The dishwasher was a bonus! With eight of us, there was still loads of space for everyone.

The park was really lovely and the lodges were super clean. We had a great break! Just a bit disappointed that the restaurant and bar aren’t dog friendly, though. Big no-no in my opinion, but that’s just me!

We stayed here recently and it was pretty good overall. The heating was a bit of a surprise at first since we didn’t know how to turn it down, so it was quite warm the first night! The beds were comfy and the lodge had everything we needed. The oven isn’t exactly top-notch, but that’s probably not a big deal since we didn’t plan on cooking much. We’re planning to come back in the summer to enjoy the lovely walks nearby. Just remember to bring bin bags and some extra toilet roll, they’re not supplied.

We had a lovely stay! The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. The lodge was spot on, just a tiny suggestion for hooks inside cupboards. Also, a quiet spot away from the playground would be ideal. Great location overall!

We absolutely loved our stay at this stunning lodge! It’s got everything you need and is in such a peaceful spot. Perfect location too, near Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We’ll definitely come back!

We spent a week in a mini lodge. It’s very well located for walking in the Ochils but also for visiting tourist attractions in Edinburgh and Falkirk. The site is lovely and well maintained.

We stayed in de Ben Buck holiday home. It was in excellent condition. The Woods is a very tranquil park, and apart from some sounds of cars moving, there is no noise whatsoever. There are lots of things to do around Stirling

Good weekend break close to local amenities and nice well kept site.

We had a beautiful lodge looking over Ochil Hills, lodge was great and modern, lovely big decking. Had a couple of meals at restaurant and they were really good. Staff very friendly and helpful, will be back and would recommend The Woods.

Lovely lodge with plenty of room. Excellent decking area attached to the lodge, with seating for 6. Would be great in the sunny weather!
