The setting by the fishing lakes was lovely but the place itself was disappointing. Stains on the furniture, limited cutlery and pans, plus a leaking boiler that kept losing water pressure. Not what we expected!

Honestly, our stay was pretty disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the caravan reeked of animal smell, which was quite off-putting. We’re not anti-pet, but it felt like they didn’t bother to keep the place properly separated. The front carpet was covered in animal hair and clearly hadn’t been hoovered, which was gross. The bed linens for the pull-up bed were incomplete, so we had to ask for help late at night. The staff on call weren’t very friendly or helpful - they seemed overwhelmed and made us feel like we were a bother. We also suspect there might have been dust mites or bed bugs because we were bitten all over and kept getting itchy patches that appeared daily after our first night. The park manager promised us a hoover to clean ourselves, but it never arrived even after several days. It’s frustrating when promises are made but not kept. Overall, our holiday was pretty much spoiled right from the moment we stepped in and the constant itching didn’t help either!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the caravan. It was really dirty - brown stains on the doors, radiators and fire grimy and a hole in one of the bedroom walls. The place also reeked of dogs, which was a real letdown. Definitely needs a good clean and some repairs to be worth it.

The van feels really dated and definitely needs a refresh. It’s quite bare compared to others, no modern facilities at all. Not impressed.

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the place. The level of dirt was shocking - faeces around the toilet and cobwebs hanging everywhere. We also found ants crawling on us and the units. The beds didn’t even fit the frames and the layout was nothing like the pictures. Not what we expected at all.

We found the caravan wasn't very clean when we arrived. Under the sofa bed was filthy, the lounge curtain had a tear and the main door frame looked quite grubby. Disappointing overall.

Honestly, our stay was quite frustrating. When we arrived, the caravan was not very clean, which was disappointing. The signal was practically useless, even after being told by reception to call a help number - but you can't even do that without a decent signal! The booking app also refused to work, so we couldn’t access the facilities upon arrival. Our kids were gutted they couldn’t go swimming all week. The evening entertainment was a bit of a letdown too; there just wasn’t enough seating for everyone, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. There are only two pool tables and we saw fights break out over who hogged them. Oh and make sure to take coins (£1, 2ps) because most of the change machines don’t work and you can’t get change anywhere else, which makes using the arcade a pain.

The caravan was cosy and perfect for our dog, though it did have a bit of a dog smell when we arrived. It’s a 6 berth, but quite compact and storage was limited, so shoes piled up by the door due to the bad weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite the small space. Would stay again!

We found the lodge to be quite roomy and mostly spotless, though there were a few dusty spots behind the bathroom doors that were missed. It was a nice surprise to find towels included, since we assumed just bed linen would be. Having a full-size fridge and a washing machine was a real bonus. The location right by the lake was stunning. The only downsides were the lack of parking right outside and the really slippery paths and ramp, plus the grass was a total muddy mess!

Really enjoyed staying here, the lodge had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The view of the lake was definitely a highlight-absolutely stunning! The place was cosy and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. We especially loved waking up to that peaceful scenery every morning. Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely come back again!

We just got back from a fantastic week at White Acres! The staff really made our holiday special, especially Leanne, Elle and Melissa-they went out of their way to sort out our accommodation after a booking mix-up, which we really appreciated. Honestly, their effort didn’t go unnoticed. We’re already planning to come back next year. Keep up the good work, team!

Honestly, we were so disappointed with this place. The housekeeping was terrible, nobody picked up when we called out of hours. No bedding for a whole week in one of the rooms! Never again, definitely.

We stayed for a week recently. The caravan was comfortable and clean . The on site facilities were good, although mini golf and soft play were closed which was disappointing. Children's evening entertainment excellent G

We complained as we had a bad leak in the bathroom Someone came out but it was not fixed and kept happening
