Willow Lodge was ideal for a couple, clean and with everything you need. Lovely pub within 5 minutes. Lots to do in the area within driving distance.

I cannot fault it. Everything about it was perfect. It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be and I enjoyed staying there very much.

Booked last minute as our last accommodation had to be cancelled due to the weather. We called to check availability and there was no problem at all. Met at the farm by Melanie who was very pleasant and chatty. Cabin was amazing and lovely quiet location. Only five cabins. Had one issue with the shower cubicle not draining which was sorted within half an hour of contacting Rupert. Also what a lovely gentleman to talk to very pleasant also. ???? everything needed in the kitchen and complimentary tea, coffee and milk to start us off. Oh and biscuits.Good base to go out and about to explore if you want or chill and do nothing and use the hot tub.Loved it that much booked again for later in the year

Very well equipped, warm and comfortable lodge.

In general the place is very nice and clean. Idyllic location, but we were there for work and I was not allowed to park my van in front of the chalet although there was ample space and it would have not obstructed anyone or been "in their face". There was no reason given to me, just that it is not allowed to take commercial vehicles there. I had to park quite far away. The second thing that was slightly annoying was that we were not allowed to charge our power-tool batteries there, which caused a bit of hassle as we didn't have power on site either. Again no reason given, although the batteries don't use up big amounts of energy to charge. This spoiled the whole experience, therefore the low overall rating.

Relaxing and best without the kids

The only reason value for money is low on the score is because of the check in and departure time during coronavirus, but overall enjoyed the holiday and seemed to be run by friendly people. No one bothered you after you arrived until you left. Everything you need is provided in the lodges and the surrounding areas are lovely.

They have thought about everything you could possibly need, the lodge was so well equipped and everything was done to such a high standard. The hot tub was lovely and the views were absolutely stunning. We will definitely be booking again!

We had an amazing week hot tub is amazing the lodge has everything you need and location is so peaceful loved it.

Only improvement would be WiFi in the lodges, but wasn’t a massive issue as there was 4G signal

Had a great few days

We had an amazing holiday at Wighill Manor Lodges. My husband, myself and my 8-year-old son stayed in the Hawthorne Lodge and absolutely loved it. The layout of the lodge was well thought out and had everything we needed for our mid-week stay. We spent every night relaxing in the hot tub. (There are hedgerows between the decks of the lodges for added privacy when using the hot tub.) Four out of the five lodges were booked but wouldn't have known it. It was so quiet, peaceful and the views were beautiful. We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wighill Manor Lodge to anyone.

We Needed to get away from stressful life this was the most ideal place to go for nice walks great base to go to other locations the lodge was perfectly clean had everything you needed the hot tub was a dream to relaxing will most definitely return next year

Friendly arrival, excellent lodge that was clean and suited our family perfectly. Quiet setting far enough to be private and close to York and other areas for day trips out.

The lodge was easy to find, great information before and during. On site owners so helpful, but not intrusive. Lodges well appointed, beautiful views. Parking area, shopping delivered to the door. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous long weekend here, the lodge was very clean, and everything was in really good condition, everything you could need was included. The view was stunning and it was very quiet area. Will definitely be visiting again

Stayed in Sycamore lodge. Had a lovely stay, fully equipped lodge, quiet location just what we wanted. Hot tub was fantastic and the owner even left us milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. 5*

Stayed for two nights hosts were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent perfect for a quiet getaway. The lodge was excellent, hot tub was very clean and well kept. Speakers built into lodge were a great edition. One small room for improvement would be to update the TV but wasn’t an issue. Will definitely be returning had an amazing time.
