Oak Lodge had everything we needed for a perfect Christmas get away. Every detail was thought of including a bright and welcoming Christmas tree. Very spacious for a family of five with plenty of room to socialise and rest.The hot tub was a very cosy bubbly delight.I’d like to try the spa and restaurant on another occasion outside of the Christmas holiday period as understandably everything was closed.A wonderful country get away I would definitely recommend.

First time at Windmill Retreat, a girls break & wow! The love was amazing, sparkly clean & everything you wanted. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture. The hot tub a bonus and then we discovered the onsite cafe, wow, amazing food. We are already planning our return. Fantastic find

We recently stayed at Hazel View Lodge and it was amazing! I would 100% recommend this lodge and windmill retreat to anyone. From arriving the staff were wonderful and really friendly. The lodge has a space to park 2 cars which is amazing and something I couldn’t find prior to booking. The spaces next to the lodge are quite steep but the staff were really friendly and happy to help where they can. We enjoyed the lovely welcome gift and was pleasantly impressed to see how well equipped the lodge is. They have truly thought of everything. The beds were super comfy and the showers were great! We enjoyed the hot tub too and overall had a great experience and hope to come back and visit again some time.

Everything about this holiday was excellent. The ease of checking in with friendly helpful staff. The beautiful food in the on-site restaurant. The lodge was so well located with stunning views. It was warm and cosy, very clean, such a wonderful welcome pack including bubbles. So many extras added, like gowns to wear to and from the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable and the overall space in the lodge was so good. The lodge was clean to the highest of standards. We will definitely be returning very soon.

A fantastic lodge, with everything you could need....plus some additional luxuries, including cake, Prosecco and bathrobes!! The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The location was very quiet and private. Would definitely visit again.

The lodge is decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. It looks almost new. The staff were friendly and the location is ideal for visiting Somerset and the surrounding area

Great place, great people, fantastic break away.

Stayed here for a few days in July. Excellent accommodation, it had everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone. It was spotlessly clean with the added touch milk, tea/coffee and a cake on arrival. A great base to explore the local area and the hot tub was lovely to return back to in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was first class and the staff were very accommodating and helpful, will definitely be booking to go back

Only for a screen to be put up side of house so hot tub more private and might save the wind blowing down the side

Perfect, very clean apartment, very cozy and warm.

Beautiful lodges in lovely surroundings. The lodges are spacious and we have a very warm welcome from the owners.

A lovely ‘upside down’ house. Very clean and well cared for. Providing robes for the hot tub was a thoughtful touch. A nice cafe on site which 2 of us used for lunch on arrival. There is also a spa although we did not visit it on this occasion.
The only thing our group missed was a cafetière (as we brought coffee with us) and a teapot!
A coffee pod machine is, however, provided.

5 accomodation, excellent welcome, and would highly recommend a stay to anyone, you would not be disappointed.

A lovely place to stay.Spotless and very well equiped.Roomy and beds were very comfortable.A little disconcerting to hear people moving round above you but it wouldnt put me off returning.The wet room was excellent,the addition of a shower stool would have made it an excellent facility for anyone disabled.My only other suggestion for improvement would be a curtain available to pull across the glass front door in the evening.Before leaving for home we called in the cafe for breakfast and the food was excellent.

Great place for a peaceful break. Ideal for a couple as quiet site but plenty to do in surrounding area. Book a spa day whilst there. A must

A wonderful bolt hole for ultimate relaxation. The accommodation is of a very high standard and includes everything you need. The welcome treats are an excellent touch (the lemon drizzle was yummy) and the staff are extremely friendly. I came away feeling calm and relaxed. I’ll be back.

Absolutely loved my stay at windmill retreat, celebrating my hen do here was exactly what I thought it was going to be. The spa on the retreat was lovely relaxing and definitely worth the money. Was peaceful, relaxing And thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be coming back again!

Beautiful lodge in tranquil surroundings, not too far from towns and tourist spots but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and homely, very comfortable beds and very peaceful stay.

Just back from a long weekend, we did pay for a travel cot and high chair which wasn’t in the cottage when we arrived but we went to the spa and they called someone who quickly sorted. Cottage was lovely, lots of space and outdoor space. For anyone who hasn’t done anything like this before remember to pack, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, salt, hand wash (I expected them to have some in the kitchen). Maybe a sharp knife they were all blunt and we really struggled to cut anything. Also a very sensitive smoke alarm, unless it was just our cooking :) Check out at 9am was so early when you have 3 families and kids to organise. All in all we had a lovely stay would recommend.

We have stayed at Millers Rest since 2018 and have enjoyed our stay , everything very clean and everyone helpful and friendly we have already booked for next year.When you find somewhere that you like keep going back.

Good location for getting around but you do need a car. We didn’t use the spa or the on-site restaurant but understand that both are very good.

We stayed here the night before a wedding as the bridal party and the Bride and Groom then stayed at the lodge the night of the wedding. The staff were really helpful and the lodge was lovely. Everything was really clean and modern. There are more than enough towels, robes and crockery provided. It was a nice and easy check-in process, the hot tub, showers and other facilities were lovely. Would highly recommend. Beautiful lodge.

Clean, so quiet, beautiful, hot tub fab, the weather was good made the holiday complete. Went for breakfast at the levels kitchen before leaving excellent well worth it. All in all a brilliant place to stay
