We had a lovely stay, with breathtaking views and a super relaxing hot tub. The lodge was spacious, well-equipped and perfect for chilling out. A few things could be improved - the kettle was pretty scaley and the toilet roll holders felt a bit loose. Also, the bed’s end posts were missing their tops, which was a bit odd. Still, overall, a nice place to unwind!

The seating is a bit limited-just two settees for four bedrooms-so don’t expect comfy spots for everyone if you're a bigger group. We loved the stunning scenery and the peaceful vibe of the place. The Osbourne cabin was really roomy and we spent plenty of time relaxing on the decking in the sunshine. Only small gripe was the kitchen tools - could do with an update and a veggie knife would’ve been handy. Overall, a fantastic spot we’ll definitely suggest to friends!

The only real annoyance was the neighbours. Every time we went out or came back, they’d all stare at us like meerkats but wouldn’t say a word - kinda strange. The first night, they threw quite a party on the decking, music blasting and singing along loudly, which made it impossible to hear the TV. We phoned reception and they sorted it out quickly, so we could finally get some sleep. Honestly, if we could avoid noisy neighbours, we’d be back in a heartbeat. Great place, just hope next time it’s a bit quieter around us!

The website still shows the restaurant's open, but it’s actually been closed for over a year now. Quite frustrating!

Honestly, this stay was a bit of a letdown. The hot tub was cold when we arrived and we had to wait until the next day to use it properly. Half the pumps don’t work, so no hot water either. The TV kept losing signal, making it frustrating to watch anything. Things look pretty tired and could do with a bit of updating. Sadly, after over a decade visiting, this was the worst experience yet and we probably won’t be coming back.

We loved the stunning view of the Solent from Carisbrooke Premier View Lodge. The inside feels really roomy, with three bedrooms, including an en suite and a kitchen fully stocked for everything you need. The lounge is perfect for relaxing together, especially with the hot tub outside and the outdoor dining area. Bright, fresh and super chill - we’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoy staying at Woidside Coastal Retreat. Carisbrooke Premier Lodges are definitely our top pick. Walking into the lodge on arrival always feels so cheerful and inviting. It’s such a relaxing getaway overall!

We found the furniture a bit tricky to fit perfectly in our lounge. The TV and sofa placement wasn’t quite right, making it a squeeze when we tried to get seven of us on the sofas in the evening. Still, overall, not a bad buy, just needs some tweaking!

We had a lovely four-day break in this beautiful spot. The rates were really fair, which was great. The lodge was warm and comfy, even with the sofa rip and the hot tub was a real highlight-cleaned twice daily! Just a couple of things like missing cutlery and no ice cube tray could be improved, but overall, it was a relaxing stay.

We booked just a few weeks before we went on holiday here and the price was very good. Excellent location, beautiful views, very friendly and helpful reception staff. We didn’t get chance to use the restaurant but the bar and staff are great.
