We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was fantastic. So cosy and beautifully decorated, we really felt at home. The little extras were a lovely touch. Only downside is the price hike during school holidays, which makes it a bit tricky to visit more often!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The lodge was spot-on for two couples, super cosy and well-equipped. The hot tub was definitely a highlight after a long day fishing. Loved it!

We managed to snag a pretty good deal since our trip was during term time and let’s just say, prices skyrocket during school holidays! The place was spotlessly clean and had enough space for the three of us, but I wouldn’t go for more folks because there’s just one bathroom, which could get a bit tricky. The hot tub was a bit of a mixed bag - on our first day, it was lovely and bubbly, but after that, we only managed to get gentle waves instead of the jets’ full power, which was a tad disappointing. There’s a handy supermarket nearby that stocks everything you could need, so no worries on that front. We used the cottage as a base for some fun trips - Roar Adventure Park is a must and we also visited a local petting farm, so there’s plenty to keep you busy. Oh and there's a cracking Indian restaurant just a quarter of an hour’s walk away - perfect for a takeaway or a sit-down meal. We stayed from Monday to Friday, but technically it was Tuesday to Thursday because check-in isn’t until 5 pm and you need to leave by 9 am on the last day, which felt a bit early. Also, they ask you to put sheets and towels in colour-coded bags on departure - I get it’s a good idea during the pandemic, but an extra hour or two on the last day would’ve been nice to gather everything and leave the place tidy. All in all, a decent stay!

The lodges are really spacious and modern, with loads of useful amenities. The site’s super peaceful and quiet-perfect for a proper relaxing getaway!

Overall, we had a lovely stay, but the main room mattress was a bit too firm for us - not very comfy. The mirror light in the en suite wasn’t working, which was a minor thing, but hopefully it’ll be sorted soon. Still, a great lodge!

Lovely spot, would recommend it

Despite the gloomy weather, we really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was charming and had everything we needed, especially a well-stocked kitchen. The only minor hiccup was Netflix not loading, but it didn’t spoil the trip. We’d definitely return!

We stayed at this lovely lodge recently and were really impressed with how smooth the contactless check-in was. The place was spotless and really well kept. Only thing is, we thought the bedding for the sofa bed should have been included in the price since we needed it for extra guests. Also, having two toilet rolls in each bathroom would’ve been handy. Wi-Fi was a bit of a let-down - £25 for that seems steep when it could be included. Overall, a fantastic site and we’d happily return!

We had a really lovely stay at the park. The lodges are spotless and nicely furnished, which made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real highlight - it was checked twice daily by staff, so we felt totally safe using it. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing break. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the check-in time - arriving after 5 pm feels a bit late, especially since the first day is almost gone by then. Also, having to leave by 9 am on departure day is a bit tight. Overall though, we liked it, but that late check-in might stop us from returning.

We stayed at Priors Field recently and while the area is lovely, it’s clear there’s still some work to be done. Don’t let that put you off though - it’s not as bad as people say and hopefully it’ll be finished soon. Big thanks to the Yaxham team for keeping us updated with emails and calls. Sorry we had to leave early!

Really happy with the service received

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was a lot better than what we expected. The place looked fresh and clean and it seemed like they'd done some updates. The smell was fresh too, which is always a plus. For just the two of us and our dog, it was comfortable enough. The only downsides were the sofas-really not comfy at all-and the decking that needed a proper clean. Also, the kitchen tap kept dripping and despite telling them twice, no one fixed it. Still, overall, we left happy with the stay.

We had a lovely stay at Squirrel Cottage with the kids. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated. They really enjoyed the hot tub and playing in the garden. Plus, having a washing machine was a lifesaver after the trip. We’d definitely return!

The price for a week felt steep and it’d be great if there was a shop on-site. Also, more dog bins and veranda gates would help us relax with the dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay at LS2. The lodge was lovely, peaceful and a perfect spot for fishing adventures.

We absolutely LOVE Yaxham Waters and would come frequently throughout the year if only it wasn’t so expensive. Can’t fault the lodge or the park itself but quite over priced.

Beautiful location, accommodation was lovely. Hot tub was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Staff were so kind and helpful. Just the escape we needed, downtime with lots of R'n'R. Would highly recommend. Lots to do in easy drive to reach various attractions. Will return in the future. Thanks for your hospitality.

We stayed in squirrel cottage, just me my partner and our dog. Garden with the cottage was amazing dog loved it. The staff who came to do the hot tub were always cheerful and friendly. Only reason not given 10s is because the site is still be worked on, but I can only see it being better

We had an amazing stay, which started prior to our holiday, tge people at Yaxham bent over backwards to support some special needs we had, so helpful and very much appreciated. The park is simply gorgeous, very well kept and maintained. Our lodge was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and ver comfortable. This is not our first stay but we will definitely be back - highly recommend, it’s lovely, quiet and thankfully not over commercialised.

Absolutely an amazing stay. Log cabin was spotless best I have stayed in. Fishing was amazing quality fish. Would recommend as is why I scored each feedback question a 10. Thanks for a amazing experience.
