Fun Days Out in Norfolk

Banham Zoo

This zoo is based in the Banham area of Norfolk as the name suggests, and has actually been described as one of the most exciting wildlife attractions in the country.  Located amidst 35 acres of parkland the setting is certainly spectacular.  With over 1000 animals from big cats to birds of prey - this is an education as well as a fun day out. Younger children will love the indoor soft play area and the Tarzan Towers adventure play area.

Dinosaur Adventure Park

This is one of the most popular days out in Norfolk and will appeal to the whole family.  You can explore the history of Dinosaurs on the fun Dinosaur trail and discover more animals in the Secret Animal Garden.  We think this adventure park is excellent value for money.  For an small additional charge you could take part in the Deer Safari which we think is well worth doing. As described on their own website this really is a "Monster Day Out".

Sheringham Park
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

Being foster carers we always have a number of children on-tow. Vauxhall Holiday Park has managed to keep them all entertained right from babies to 17yr olds! Well done Vauxhall you make our annual holidays GREAT and we return every year!

Went camping with my son, had a fantastic time, the pools are amazing and clean, lovely facilities and always something to do. Brilliant if you want to pop to town as you can catch the bus at the site and back for only few pounds. Lots places to eat and the food is lovely. Evening entertainment brilliant for adults and children. Looking to go for longer next year x

We had been considering going to Vauxhall for a few years as we had had family and friends who had been there and gave it such good reveiws,so we finally decided to give it a go our selves and we're so pleased we did.It was everything we had heard about and more. The kids aged 11 and 7 had things to do from morning till night and were never long going to sleep when they got to bed.We are already planning to go back in 2013.I love this site and my only regret is that we never went years ago.If you are considering this site, consider no longer, book now you wont rtegret it.

The Swift caravan is a lovely caravan, though a little tight on space in the main bedroom and toilet, probably due to being a 3 bedroom, you have to lose a bit of space somewhere!
Julie
We enjoyed the family club. The caravans was dreadful. Hot water ran out after 2 people showered. The heating didn't work in the bedrooms. It was like sleeping on slabs of ice. The children ended up with colds.
Charlyn
We were so happy with our first family holiday I have a 1-2 year old and they absolutely loved it .. I will definitely be booking another holiday in the summer.
Nina
Overall the Park is good and upgrading is taking place for example the new outdoor play area was excellent for the children. Disappointing and accounts for the lower score on Facilities were due to the toilets in the entertainment room been dismal (not enough and filthy) - hopefully due an upgrade.
Samantha
Amazing place. We went in term time due to our son being autistic. It was just perfect. Excellent value for money too
