This was my second time here and me and my family really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and they put alot of effort for the entertainment on a night for the little ones. The facillities were a very good standard, there is so many activitites on site to do and about 5miles down road you have great yarmouth, its such a lovely place. The spot where the caravan was what I stopped in was brilliant,it was only a 2min walk away from mash and barrel and the amusments. The weather was gorgeous , couldn't have picked a better week and there are lots of lovely places to visit just outside of Caister. We will differently be going again soon.

Date of stay: 27th August 2018
We had a lovely holiday and a enjoyed it!
My only comment if being picky is the van could of been cleaned a little better. When we moved furniture (the bench at the table to sit down) and under the bed for example hadnt been cleaned / hoovered! It felt like what could be seen was cleaned. Saying that it wasnt that bad and it wouldnt stop us coming again, I also understand the cleaners have a lot of vans to clean

Didnt use Restaurant as when we looked in there was food spilt on floor, looked like they needed to be a bit more prompt in cleaning up. Did try the Papa John's, they delivered but pizza wasn't great.
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
very good overall, the floor looked clean but wasn't which showed up on the baby's knees when crawling but that was the only issue which isn't bad to be honest.
Denise, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
The caravan was lovely but the bed had not been changed and the en suite was dirty. This was rectified immediately but we believe the rest of the caravan had not been cleaned either.

Nice caravan, had all kitchen equipment. Nice to have reps come to check everything was ok for you. Good to have 2 loos, would recommend to friends.
Date of stay: 22nd June 2015
We really liked our caravan, it was very clean and exactly what we wanted. The downside for us were that the plugs weren't 100% secure. We were missing some of the items on the list of equipment and went to ask for them, they said they'd drop them off but we never received them. Other than that it was brilliant.
Tracy, Folkestone Kent.
Date of stay: 22nd June 2015
Only thing we found we would have liked to have was maybe a few outside chairs. To enjoy the sun
Date of stay: 1st June 2015
We had a very comfortable stay and were glad of the efficient central heating. The overall rating is only a 9 because we had to remove the plastic packaging from the mattresses on single beds. Were pleased that these were new, but plastic and children are not a safe mix. There wasn't enough pillow cases for the pillows provided. and only one small knife in the kitchen for food preparation. A bread knife at least, is essential equipment. The TV ceased working after some heavy rain, but the maintenance team quickly and effectively repaired leaving no sign that they had visited.
Date of stay: 8th May 2015
For the money great

Date of stay: 24th April 2015
This caravan was perfect for our family of 5. Great living space, 2 bathrooms, very clean & well maintained. It even had a gated porch for when we had the door open & didn't want to loose the youngest!! Just fabulous
Date of stay: 17th April 2015
A starter loo roll would have been nice but other than that no complaints.
Date of stay: 13th April 2015
Caravan, as basic, but served our needs well
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Caravan was very good, everything we needed. Only point to make was there was no bed linen provided yet I thought it was part of the price with the deluxe option?
Date of stay: 30th March 2015
Could not fault the caravan or park will defiantly come again.
Date of stay: 27th October 2014
lovely holiday, lots to do. weather was great for the time of year which was helpful as activities are outside.
only down side is its a very big park so we had to drive to swimming etc as our caravan was at opposite side of park and a good 10min+ walk as was the good entertainment. the seagulls club nearest only had a few people as the staff didn't seem bothered it was just music playing so people left. the other entertainment venue had games discos for kids etc
Avril, Mansfield Notts.

used to go to caister as a child so was nice to be back again great park staff in reception very helpful had a problem with tv remote control replaced very quickly would return here again with out fail park is well maintained, lots of security in club area and on patrol around park
Date of stay: 8th September 2014
Great park, fantastic facilities. Had a fantastic stay at Caister.
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014
Caravans are too close together. Most of the things for children cost extra and with three children this is expensive. The golf needs a complete overhaul as in poor condition and not working. The club entertainers were great and kept the children happy.
Date of stay: 11th August 2014
The whole weekend was a good experience and we would diffenatly come back again. The only thing that was a dissapointment was that the shop was poorly stocked. We had to go off site to buy what essentials.
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
A clean and tidy park with a nice pool. However we found the caravans crowded in having been to French campsites this came as a surprise. A marked difference between some of your staff. Pool staff fun and friendly; Laura who ran a 'mega mini madness' session was uninspiring, verging on unhelpful and there was no 'madness' whatsoever - quite disappointing. The girl who ran the session on Wednesday 23 July was totally different and great fun for the kids. On arrival one receptionist was not friendly or helpful when I didn't have ID on me (which there was no indication that I needed anywhere) whereas the second person couldn't have gone to more trouble to make me feel welcome.
We had a great stay at Caister. I don’t normally write reviews but I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff: from the Gentleman that showed us where to park at the start of our trip to the people running the children’s activities and bar staff. So thank you!! They all seem genuinely happy in their work. The park is extremely well run, everything works efficiently, my son had a great time taking part in all the reasonably priced children’s activities. We will be back!
We had a great time
We had an amazing time and our caravan was beautiful besides the shower not draining properly ending up having a flood in the shower 😀😏
Very nice site and caravan. All the amenities we needed
Great place to stay .
Clean park .caravan good quality.
Food good in bars and restaurants.
Overall had excellent holiday here.
When me and my friends arrived at this park, we was very welcomed and early check in at 14:45pm. Loads things to do on the park, great entertainment. The entertainment people was very good and enjoyable to watch for all ages.
Our very first caravan holiday - we really enjoyed everything about it but would probably upgrade caravan type next time we visit - yes we will be going back as we like everything about that part of Norfolk.
The park surroundings ,staff and great yarmouth are a great place to relax. Thank you for a nice holiday.

Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed. The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.

Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk. This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld. Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.

Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK. The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.

This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit. New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure. Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area. The secret animal garden is also popular. You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish. At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.

The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out. You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything. Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day. This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended. Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.

We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals. Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas. On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks. Hot food is available over lunch times.

This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October. The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals. If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust. We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.

if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
