View Accommodations

Fun is the order of the day at this lively park close to popular Great Yarmouth. The proud holder of a David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation,  Cherry Tree will suit families looking for an entertaining holiday with plenty of amenities on site as well as stunning surroundings.  The indoor heated pool is perfect for swimming or simply splashing around and the fitness suite is a real luxury.

For those who prefer a more relaxing pace on holiday then the beautiful sun terrace is the ideal place to soak up the sun.  When evening falls head to the Orchard Family Entertainment Venue to enjoy top quality shows.  We think children will love the kids clubs here which have been divided into age groups from the Treetops Tots for under 4s right up to the Freestyle Club for 10-15 year olds.  4-10s will really enjoy the Treetops Grove and the characters Maxi, Multi and Milli.

Accommodation is a choice of caravans from the basic Breydon caravan sleeping 8 to the luxurious Fritton Caravan which also sleeps 8.  All of the accommodation comes with TV and well equipped kitchen with microwave.  We like the Waveney Caravan which is 12ft wide and offers plenty of space as well as double glazing and central heating.

Date of stay: 22nd July 2016
The caravan was more or less clean and all of the facilities and furnishings were very up to date and modern which was nice to see. We had no issues within the caravan itself apart from it was absolutely boiling the week we went and so it got very hot in there but that's no ones fault!

The shower was huge and very powerful! The handles on the windows were a bit loose on some but no big deal.

Lovely friendly park, helpful staff who were polite and nothing was too much trouble. Clean caravan with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Park was clean and the facilities were excellent, a small park but that suited us. All round we loved it and would recommend it as a family site.
Kevin, Middlesbrough,
Date of stay: 4th July 2014
The park and staff where excellent the only reason I would not book again is the very poor quality of the evening entertainment Monday to Thursday,
Stuart, Stanford Le Hope
Date of stay: 5th May 2014
The caravan we had was amazing and the site was very peaceful would highly recommend
Christopher, Norwich
Date of stay: 5th May 2014
We were very impressed. The pool staff were vigilant and the cleanliness really good. However in the caravan it was superficially clean but in the kitchen cupboard the rubbish was left at the back of the cupboard from the previous guests and there wasn't a full compliment of cutlery-only 3 teaspoons. Also we had paid for a bed bumper & requested high hair but they weren't in the caravan so we had to go back to reception to sort it out. However our overall enjoyment was good especially the pool and it's clean facilities.
Kerry

Josephine
We had a great time at the Cherry Tree holiday park. Our caravan was lovely and clean, the facilities were great and the staff were really kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
Tania
Our holiday stay was in a caravan from the 6th April to 13. First impression, clean and tidy and nicely laid out and it wasn't too far from the amusements and play area. The staff was all great nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant food was lovely, well cooked and tasty, would recommend it, the pool was great The kids loved it. The kids was entertained by Adam, Clare, Ali, Rach and Keshia and loved it. A special mention for Ali who impressed us so much by remembering all the children by their names. A lovely park and great for younger kids not so much for adults and older children. I would definitely go back again and recommend it if you are a family with young children they will have an enjoyable time.
Roy
Cherry Tree had a good holiday staff good, caravan nice and clean. We could have done with more heat had central heating on but still a bit cool. Mind you was minus 2 degrees out side. l expect heating would normally cope. Any way we had a good time.
Sonya
We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it

Fun Days Out near Cherry Tree

about 5 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
about 11 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
about 13 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
about 24 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
about 28 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
about 31 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
about 31 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
about 35 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
about 36 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
about 37 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
