Had a lovely time, plenty to keep us entertained all week long.

Date of stay: 10th October 2024
Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend!
Sarah, Leicestershire
Date of stay: 8th September 2024
We've stayed here quite a few times now and honestly, it’s a lovely spot. It’s well-equipped and always clean, which we really appreciate. The only downsides are the tricky TV and the en-suite could do with a bit of a freshen up. Still enjoyed our stay!
Sam, Norfolk
Date of stay: 16th November 2023
Could really use some more basic stuff like bin bags though.
James, Oakworth, West Yorks
Date of stay: 28th July 2023
We loved the peaceful setting and the lodge had everything we needed, plus a gorgeous view of the lake. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there’s plenty of space between lodges for privacy. Everyone was really friendly too. Honestly, Teal Lodge exceeded our expectations-definitely a place we’d return to. Truly fantastic experience!
Emma, Woking
Date of stay: 14th August 2020
Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend.
Sam, Hainford, Norfolk
Date of stay: 27th December 2019
We had a pretty good stay overall, though a few things could’ve been better. The window over the kitchen didn’t have any curtains or blinds, which meant our privacy was a bit compromised at night when the lights were on-this was a bit frustrating, especially since it was mentioned before and still not sorted. We also struggled to get the water to heat up properly, maybe we should have called someone? Still, the place is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break, especially in the warmer months when fishing’s at its best. We’d definitely go back!

Could do with more everyday stuff like bin bags, honestly.

Lovely place, really relaxing with stunning views over the lake.
James, Shipston On Stour
Date of stay: 28th July 2017
We really enjoyed the stay, the property had fantastic facilities. Only minor hiccups-like wishing for a bread knife and noticing some cutlery wasn’t perfectly clean, probably from previous guests. Nothing major though! The overall vibe was great and we’re already planning to come back soon. Definitely a lovely place to relax.
Emma, Beverley
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
Overall, we found the place quite comfy, though the litter from previous guests was a bit off-putting. The kitchen was decent but could do with more mugs for tea!
Isabelle, North London
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the lovely view over the lake - it’s such a peaceful spot. The setting is perfect for relaxing and we appreciated the cosy atmosphere. That said, a few little things could be improved. For example, we had to buy some cleaning gear to wipe down the outside table and chairs, since there wasn’t much provided for outdoor cleaning. There weren’t enough wine glasses or other drinking glasses and the bottle opener was broken, which was a bit frustrating. The power outage was unavoidable, but some clear instructions on what to do would have been helpful. Also, it would’ve been great if one of the double bedrooms could be made into twin beds for our son, as he had to sleep in the lounge and we had to buy an extra duvet. Still, we’d come back!

Date of stay: 27th May 2017
Great spot to chill out, especially when the weather’s nice. Perfect for relaxing, even if fishing isn’t your thing. Would visit again!
Emma, Lincs
Date of stay: 1st May 2017
We stayed in a lovely lodge that felt spacious and well kitted out. It was mostly spotless, just a couple of tiny issues like some coffee stains on mugs (which came off easily) and a cupboard door that needed a little hinge tweak. Nothing major, really enjoyed it!
Alex, Ripon
Date of stay: 28th April 2017
We stayed in a really roomy lodge with all the modern gadgets, minus a bread bin! The only tiny issue was a persistent wasp that kept bothering us, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The bed and lounge seating were super comfy and it was so peaceful - just what we needed for a proper chill out.
Alex
Date of stay: 21st April 2017

Emma, Ixworth, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 31st March 2017
The setting is absolutely stunning, with peaceful views over the fields. The lodge itself is really cosy and well-equipped, plus that log burner was a lovely surprise! Definitely recommend.
Alexandra
Date of stay: 27th March 2017
The lodge was really cosy and spotless, which we loved. A few kitchen gadgets could do with an upgrade and some bits were missing, including a fridge shelf.
Emma, London
Date of stay: 15th January 2017
Really happy with how cosy and welcoming it felt overall. Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Set in a secure area, takes about 15 mins to walk round, through some wooded area. My husband likes to do a bit of fishing but also sightseeing. About 30 minutes from Cromer to the North. Farm shop about 5 minutes away.
Thomas
Lovely location, peaceful and quiet, cabins were really comfortable and clean. only reason I put an unhappy face was because there were no staff there when we arrived and no proper key code. Otherwise highly recommended.
Jean
The park is lovely with really nice lakes and lots of wildlife
Michael
Nice lodge in great location for a quiet break.
Esther
If you just want to escape from it all and wind down , this is the ideal place totally isolated but yet only 7 miles from Norwich....the only downsides the lakes were very hard to fish ? my partner is a fishing fanatic but didn't catch a single carp all week only nuisance fish.... unwinding a definite yes ....fishing a definite no
Kim
Spoke to one gentleman he was friendly apart from him we didn’t see anybody. We were very happy with the lodge and the beautiful surroundings. We found it difficult however to fish near to each other because of all of the fishing areas were only big enough for one person not a family. But overall a lovely base to stay In Norfolk. It’s lovely that people can bring their pets, however I also think they should be responsible to pick up their dogs mess and dispose of it appropriately.
