Anchor Park has a very peaceful location on a stretch of sandy beach on the Norfolk coast.  The park is small and welcoming making it popular with families. The direct beach access through the sand dunes makes it a perfect choice for those looking for a traditional seaside holiday and the close proximity to the sea means that the park has stunning views.

Close by you will find the award-winning Sea Palling beach as well as a good range of shops and restaurants and you are also just 4 miles from Stalham - the 'gateway to the Broads'. Norwich is 20 miles away and has a wide range of shops, bars and historical sites as well as fun family attractions.

Accommodation is in modern caravans. Small families may choose the budget friendly Bower which has two bedrooms or the slightly larger Kedge which has heating throughout. Larger groups could opt for the Danforth which has three bedrooms (one with bunk beds) and also has heating throughout. All caravans are equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday including microwave, toaster and TV.

Our Top Tip
"Don't forget to pack your beach towels in the summer months as you can enjoy direct beach access from the park."

Fun Days Out in Norfolk

Banham Zoo

This zoo is based in the Banham area of Norfolk as the name suggests, and has actually been described as one of the most exciting wildlife attractions in the country.  Located amidst 35 acres of parkland the setting is certainly spectacular.  With over 1000 animals from big cats to birds of prey - this is an education as well as a fun day out. Younger children will love the indoor soft play area and the Tarzan Towers adventure play area.

Dinosaur Adventure Park

This is one of the most popular days out in Norfolk and will appeal to the whole family.  You can explore the history of Dinosaurs on the fun Dinosaur trail and discover more animals in the Secret Animal Garden.  We think this adventure park is excellent value for money.  For an small additional charge you could take part in the Deer Safari which we think is well worth doing. As described on their own website this really is a "Monster Day Out".

Sheringham Park
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

The caravan was fine but with absolutely nothing on the camp site it really wasn't for us. Had to travel at least 3miles to get something to eat and if you returned late at night it was pitch black as no outside lights on park?

Another wonderful stay at Anchor Park. This time we left the family at home and took the dogs. Long walks on endless sandy beaches. A fabulous place to escape from the world for a few days and recharge.
Looking forward to going again next year.
Lillian
the caravan we had was well stocked. unfortunately we picked the coldest weekend of the year, but with extra heating we were ok. doors a bit draughty. The location, for anyone wanting to get away from it all, was first class, the beach next door was superb for a summer holiday. Overall a nice little caravan park.
Linda
An excellent get away from it all location - brilliant!
John

Wonderful site. Really peaceful & quiet. Right near a lovely beach. We had a small problem with our arrival time (we kept changing it) & it was dealt with very sympathetically. We would highly recommend this site if you like peace & quiet.
