View Accommodations

Offering fun for the whole family and a fantastic location, Hopton Holiday Village is the perfect place for a lively holiday. This site is situated just a few minutes from the popular holiday resort of Great Yarmouth and offers direct access to a breathtaking sandy beach. The park is beautifully landscaped and is the proud holder of the David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation.

Facilities here are some of the best we have come across with cabaret, party nights and competitions on an evening and kid's clubs, sporting events and an activity programme during the day. One of the parks best features is the pool complex. The outdoor pool has a paddling area and splash zone while the indoor pool has a slide and shallow pool for the little ones. Football coaching, fencing, archery, kart hire and golf are also on offer.

Offsite the region offers many attractions including gorgeous beaches, lively seaside towns and charming fishing villages. For a fun family day trip, Bewilderwood's treetop adventure is highly recommended and a trip on a Mississippi paddle steamer on the Broads is not to be missed. The city of Norwich is within easy reach and offers fantastic shopping opportunities and some highly rated restaurants.

Guests can choose from a range of Standard, Deluxe and Prestige holiday homes. Standard holiday homes are ideal if value for money is a top priority, while the Deluxe are for those seeking a little more space and comfort. The Prestige models are top of the range and are ultra Luxurious. Guests booking prestige accommodation also benefit from early check in.

Where's Hopton Holiday Village?

Date of stay: 3rd August 2018
Great holiday for a big family group. We had a lot of fun. Children loved it. Lovely beach. Can't get served in restaurant though and Papa Johns is a rip off.
Karen, Cambridgeshire
Date of stay: 30th July 2018

Date of stay: 20th July 2018
We had an excellent holiday the park was clean activities great and staff all lovely.

On a negative note the caravan on the outside was very dirty covered in cobwebs and clearly hadnt been cleaned since before winter. I think it would have looked much more appealing had it been cleaned. Inside the caravan was much better although the shower tray was dirty and covered in hair
And the kitchen pots unclean

All in all we would definetly recommend
Mark, Burnham-on-crouch

Fabulous accommodation.
Donna, Southend On Sea
Date of stay: 27th October 2017
The holiday was a nice break to spend with our busy family but we think that for the size of the caravan park we dont think the activities were enough. There is only one tennis court, the things you can book were booked out quickly and if it was raining then we only had the bar to sit in or the arcades which isnt our idea of great family time.
Unfortunately we normally holiday at potters if we are in this country and it has spoilt us somewhat.
Please dont take this as a put down, the caravan was lovely, the area around the caravans were clean and well maintained, the beach is stunning. I just expected a little more from a site that lots of people rave about.
Brett, Ipswich

lovely caravan. Maybe voiles on some windows so you don't feel so on show. Maybe a rug in the lounge area and with the sofas being a pale colour regular fabric cleaning. Only minor things. Caravan was super and would stay again.

Date of stay: 16th August 2014
It was very nice. The only down side was not being able to access the beach. The bus to the nearby beach was fine, but a bit of an inconvenience. Other than that, the whole family loved it.
Sandra, Kings Lynn
Date of stay: 11th August 2014
Very friendly helpful staff - good activities- except the Aqua Jets 3 were not working and the activity was not up to the standard received at Corton. my grandson was disappointed as he expected the same content. I don't like the way everyone has to walk through the restaurant to get to the swimming pool. At Corton there was a separate entrance.
Martine, Nottingham
Date of stay: 28th July 2014
We had a fab time at the park. All and I mean all the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way.
we were disappointed that the beech access was closed, we didnt realisethis till we looked for the postcode of the park on the invoice, the morning that we travelled and the beech is a big part of our holiday.
Facilities as every were cleaned and gardens were tidy and a pleasure to walk around.
Lisa, Rugby
Date of stay: 25th July 2014

Date of stay: 25th April 2014
I would and have recommended Hopton to all of my friends and family. The description of the caravan we stayed in was very accurate and comfortable. The January early bird offer is spot on for us as it helps us stick to a budget. The facilities on the park are clean and upto date and the staff are very efficient and friendly too. The only thing I would change would being able to book an area or preferred location within the park as this would be the icing on the cake.
C, Bournemouth
Date of stay: 19th April 2014
Had a fabulous 7 days here ..weather was brilliant too .Would highly recommend this place to everyone ...
Monique
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
I only gave overall score less because the location of my caravan was by the main road coming in to the holiday park and as a light sleeper I was awoken every morning very early.
Sarah, Camberley, Surrey
Date of stay: 14th April 2014
We stayed at Hopton over the Easter break and were very pleasantly surprised. It was a nice park, the caravan was amazing, possibly new which made a huge impact on our stay.
Was slightly disappointed that the beach was closed, which isn't notified anywhere, although it understand the necessary work needs to be done to the sea defence.
The only downside to the park is, serious lack of changing facilities in the swimming pool area and they were quite dirty :(, the evening entertainment is awful, lots of people leaving, as with us, which is a shame as would of been nice to stay for a few drinks!

Overall, a lovely stay, very lucky with weather and more importantly kids had fun!
Arron
Fantastic kids loved it, very close to the beach aswell
Rachel
Great park with lots to do . Expensive though as we had 4 children and all activities are at least £5-10 per child.
Terry
We took our 3 grand daughter's for the second year running. They love everything about the place. The swimming pool. The activities that are available. The show bar . They've already said they want to go again next year.
Jean
Had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone
Kirsty
Lovely place lovely time my kids had a ball
Pamela
Fantastic park with great facilities for the Kids and easy access to a beautiful beach. The Caravan hired was of a high standard, very clean and comfortable.
Ann
We were impressed with the holiday village overall and loved the stay in the deluxe caravan. The site was amazingly clean, tidy and a pleasure to walk around. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and we felt safe and cared for. The entertainment was surprising good for our late season stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the high standard of the entertainers. We are looking forward to being able to visit again, Thank you.
Karen
I went with my partner, my son and his partner and 3 grandchildren...we had an absolutely fabulous time, the food was lovely...we can't wait to come again.

Fun Days Out near Hopton Holiday Village

about 2 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
about 8 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
about 16 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
about 28 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
about 30 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
about 33 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
about 34 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
about 35 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
