Lodge absolutely gorgeous. Everything you need is provided. Clean and attention to detail excellent Overlooking the water sitting on the decking, with a glass of wine was perfect. Very comfortable seating and peaceful.

We had a great time at the lodge! The finishing touches were lovely, especially the Prosecco. The smart TV and free wifi made relaxing easy. Surrounded by peaceful scenery, it felt super safe for us solo travellers. Definitely recommend and would come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was super comfy with all the mod cons, perfect for relaxing. The walk into York was lovely and the local pub served up a great meal. Definitely coming back someday!

Great Lodge in a very peaceful location. Very relaxing.

Beautiful location. So peaceful and relaxing. The food at the marina restaurant was excellent as was the Sunday roast from the nearby village pub in Naburn which is just a short walk away. We took advantage of the 10% discount offered by the marina and hired one of their motorboats for a trip into York. All in all a wonderful experience!

Staff welcoming and friendly especially Debbie. Had lunch at waterfront cafe which was lovely. Lovely walk along old railway track. Marina was kept clean and tidy at all times

First class accomodation in perfect location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food in restaurant reasonable priced and everything served with a smile. Plenty of nice walks and bus to York outside gate or P&R from Designer Outlet

Went during storm eunice Had a great time, Lodge was warm, cosy, everything needed for a great stay 5 miles outside York peaceful and for a great Sunday dinner try the woodsman Inn at Bishopthorpe, will be back hopefully

A fabulous unique cosy lodge with everything you need.

Just had a weekend away in the floating lodge , it was an amazing few days , the lodge is beautiful and had all the facilities you need, it's about 4 or 5 miles from York which made it easy to visit the city centre , it's not cheap but it was a lovely experience and a bit different.
