Brokerswood Holiday Park

I managed to get this at a good price at the time as it was on sale.Absolutely worth every penny ????

The lodge was lovely and spacious, clean and modern. The only thing we felt always missing were coat hooks! The weather was quite wet and could have done with a dedicated coat/shoe area to store them. Apart from that can't fault it. Outside space was also great, lots of seating and hot tub.

Wonderful lodge, cannot fault

Quiet and very well maintained site. Lodge very comfortable, warm and clean and the hot-tub is essential after a day of walking. The only downside for us (and this is subjective of course) is there isn't really any decent walks/hikes straight you can do from the lodge - I don't always want to drive if I can help it. We did one local walk taking in surrounding villages (approx. 9miles) but that was about it. If you stay here and love walking, can highly recommend driving to the Mendip Hills (approx. 22 miles) - great walking and spectacular views (Dolberry Warren and Black Down heath). Also worth driving up to the Westbury White Horse and walking around there. If you walk around Brokerswood itself, it is lovely but you will need wellies - very boggy! Finally, if you visit Bath, uses the Odd Down Park and ride - very reasonable price and a bus every 10minutes (ignore having to pay for the car park - you don't have to if you'reusing the bus!).

Lovely caravan,very clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable, lovely big decking,lots of room for parking for 2 cars. Lots of room between lodges

The holiday hub was very clean. All essentials was provided. The only issue was the electronic key, we had afew issues locking and unlocking but they are a good idea. Nice holiday Village which was not commercialised which is what we wanted..

Really lovely lodge, beautifully decorated and well presented. Very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are very comfortable and extras were provided in the wardrobe such as a hot water bottle / blankets. The heating was already set on a timer however it was set perfectly so no need for us to adjust during our stay. Lots of little extra touches such as washing machine and dishwasher essentials along with dog treats. Netflix Amazon etc all available and set up ready to go. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was great. Spacious, clean and the hot tub was checked daily so we were always comfortable wherever we were.

Beautiful lodge, modern and very tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean.I have booked this lodge three times and plan to do so again as it is so nice. A perfect home away from home.

Lodge was amazing, everything you need for your stay plus more in there, very clean and tidy. Location was great, plenty of places to visit within short distances. Woodland was very muddy so we didn’t get to explore as much as we’d have liked, but we did see a deer and I’m sure there are some nice walks through it when not so muddy. The couple of minor issues we had were sorted immediately. Very quiet site with only noise coming from vehicles passing on the road outside the site.

Furniture in the lounge was stained and the shower in the main bathroom the bath tap would not run so had to use the shower to run a bath.

Upon arrival we had been given no instructions of how to check in or get in our lodge, we had to ring in for them to tell us where we were staying and the key code number. The park wasn’t well lit so when we arrived in the dark it was very difficult to locate the lodge as the numbers were in black and rather small!When entering the lodge it was okay and looked fairly clean. It was a lot smaller than expected and the corridor and doorways were very narrow. The dishwasher had a sign on it which said it was broken and not to use and when we had made dinner we had noticed that a lot of the plates, bowls, cutlery were dirty so we had to wash them before use. The toilets weren’t cleaned very well but were okay.We noticed that the tv in the lounge and in the bedroom did not work so we rang the reception number and within 10 minutes a lovely maintenance man came (didn’t catch his name) and he was friendly and helpful. When he was unable to get the tv in the lodge working he went away and came back with a brand new tv and set it up for us. The tv was connected to the lodge wifi so you were able to watch anything and everything you wanted which was great with the little ones!I didn’t find the lodge very secure for little ones they could easily open the front door and the windows were right up against the beds so they could have opened them too. The beds were okay, not particularly comfortable but fine for a few nights. We did leave a night early just because my we weren’t getting a good nights sleep as when the neighbours were in the hot tub you could hear a lot of noise so the kids had trouble sleeping.

But dishwasher was broken. Twin bedrooms very small more suitable for children

A briliant place - will defo go back and first time in a long time I didnt want to leave. everything was clean even the hottub which was also checked everyday:)

Great accommodation, ideal for our needs. Only slight issues were that there was no number so we had difficulty finding it (overcome by consulting emails and using the map). Also the tin opener didn’t work.

Hot tub was clean, but we didn’t see it being maintained throughout our stay. Some of the jets also didn’t work.

Excellent short break. First time we had been to this park, lovely and quiet. We have a dog so it was the perfect setting. Will definately be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at Brokers wood. So much to see and do in the surrounding areas.We loved the on-site activities.

We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was so clean and well looked after, the hot tub checked daily and it was so quiet. I do think this park is undersold as we couldn't fault anything. We had deliveries from local takeaways direct to our lodge, the children did the Tarzan Trial and the walks in the wood with the dog were fantastic. Yes down by the lake there is building work for the new lodges so I agree with previous comments of not wanting to stay in one of the pods currently. We would 100% return.

My husband and I took our pup on his first holiday to Brokerswood. He absolutely loved it. As did we! Such a lovely location. Beautiful lake and woodland area. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, exactly what we were looking for. Gated decking area, perfect for the pooch. Friendly staff, very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely stay again. Thank you! ?

Short notice weekend away was amazing value for money and had an amazing time booked an activity and the coach for canoeing was absolutely incredible will definitely be back

Lovely holiday park very clean and tidy, nice relaxing vibe. Book canoeing whilst there guys really friendly guys. Also have high ropes, archery and axe throwing. Cute little park for the little ones. Shop onside.Would definitely recommend
