A lovely holiday. Accommodation warm and cosy. Only couple of issues. The microwave did not work and one mattress was quite sagging. On the whole we had a good time.

I would have given 10 out of 10 expect serious issues with parking room and turning room outside and lumps of concrete which you cant help hitting risking damaging your car at night. Such a shame as if not or this it would be ten all the way Please rectify this as it is really a problem

This was my first 7 day holiday in England since I was a child as we normally prefer to go abroad so I didn't know what to expect now being an adult with two boys aged 5 and 6.
I am now converted! We had the best holiday we have had in a long time. The weather probably had a lot to do with it with it being bank holiday weekend and it was glorious! The actual lodge itself was perfect, everything you could need is provided. I had a request early one morning for the hotel and they brought the required things up to our lodge within 5 minutes. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. The hot tub really made the holiday for our boys they were in it at every opportunity. We had days out everyday because there are so many nearby attractions, I understand it may be a little more difficult if you don't drive to get out to these places so in that instance i wouldn't recommend it but for us it was perfectly located. The lodges are in a peaceful location despite being so close to Wookey Hole itself. When booking with the lodges you get a free entry ticket to Wookey Hole which is fab, really worth a visit. The whole family enjoyed it. For the evenings after 5.30pm (better for families with children) you could pop down to reception who would then radio through to the members of staff at the attraction itself and they would let you into parts of Wookey Hole to keep the kids entertained for a bit-free of charge. Which included an indoor large soft play area, old fashioned amusement arcades and my childrens favourite the mirror maze, all good fun. They also have a bar and restaurant for hotel guests, we used the bar and sat outside but never ate at the restaurant.

The only minus of the accommodation was that the double bedroom was small and it was a tight squeeze to get around. The rest of the lodge suited us what we needed.

Lodge is pretty small, a caravan with cladding - there is barely room to squeeze round the side of the double bed in main bedroom. All brand new and immaculate though, and great to have a hot tub.
Sian, Bristol
Date of stay: 20th March 2017
The lodge was superb, and very clean. Only thing to improve would be if there was an iron as there was an ironing board but no iron.

Cheryl
We booked to stay at wookey hole for my 30th birthday weekend away and it was fantastic for the whole family especially having children with us as it kept them entertained the whole trip. Would highly recommend as lots to do and see.
Hayley
A fabulous well catered break. Hot tub made the experience even better. Super clean and staff were helpful
Timothy
A very peaceful and restful break. The hot tub was excellent and stayed warmer for longer than others we have used elsewhere. Added bonus of free family tickets to Wookey Hole added to the value of the break. Taking into account we knew we had booked a static caravan not a luxury lodge the accommodation was excellent and clean although may be a bit cramped if you filled it with six adults. Overall an enjoyable and value for money break,
Michael
Would be a good idea to have a children's playground on the large grassed area where the picnic tables are around the entrance to the lodges
Shanie
Paid for this for my step-daughter and her family they said it’s a Lovely place and they would go back and enjoye sightseeing
Angela
amazing place to go views are fab and staff so helpful
Lisa
Amazing time had by all. Hot tub is a huge bonus. My only advice would be to use flip flops on the deck as it gets very slippy. Everything you need is in the lodge. Heating throughout. Views are amazing!! Can’t wait to return.
Kirsty
Absolutely beautiful place to stay... nice friendly staff and amazing lodges with hot tub. Can't wait to stay again soon.
Carlie
Loved this place! My daughter already wants us to return, like I do! Fantastic place. Free tickets into Wookey Hole Caves are a bonus! Staff are super friendly. Only thing is.. the bedrooms are very small. Apart from that, its great! You shall see me back again!
Amy
