Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was spotless and super comfy. Only small gripe is the twin beds’ mattresses could be better quality. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved the cottage! It’s tucked away in a peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was a real treat after long walks nearby. Everything was spotless and well-equipped. Had a fantastic stay and would definitely go back!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still really private. Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely hosts, making us feel welcome from the start. The place is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, which made things easy. The bed was super comfy and the garden was perfect for our dog-completely dog-proof and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and we’re already planning to return. Our dogs had a ball - especially with the underfloor heating, which they adored. The garden was perfect for them to run around and play. Luna’s wagging tail was proof enough - she came back with a strained tail from all the fun! Totally happy with our stay.

We stayed at this place recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The house has everything you could need and kept us really warm, which was perfect given the rainy December weather. The bath was such a treat and the shower was spacious too. The location is remote, so no noise from planes or fireworks - perfect for our dog who hates loud noises. Thanks a lot!

We stayed in this lovely, well-equipped cottage and loved how cosy it was, especially on a rainy winter day! The bath was fantastic and the shower was perfect after a long walk. Being near a flight path didn’t bother us at all, so don’t worry about that. It’s a peaceful spot, great for dogs scared of fireworks. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay!

We loved the peaceful surroundings and the stunning views from the cabin. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Inside, it felt a bit worn with some stains on the sofa and the kitchen showing signs of wear, but overall it was clean and cosy. Would stay again!

We stayed at this charming little cottage recently and honestly, it had everything we could possibly need. No need to pack much because the place is so well equipped! The welcome pack was a nice touch, full of useful info and local menus - really thoughtful. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just perfect for unwinding. Perfect, if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway. The local pub is a good recommendation for reasonably priced and nice food. A good base to be able to go to Weston super mare, bath, Bristol, cheddar and Longleat. The hot tub went down a great success with all the family.
TAJINDER
Great little lodge, we really enjoyed our stay here. Hot tub was lovely, cleaned and checked every morning. The staff are super helpful too. Beautiful city to visit and great places to eat in Wells. The cathedral is breathtaking
