My boyfriend and I stayed in the fox run lodge last week Monday to Friday and had the loveliest time! The lodges are stunning and views are perfect. Nicky and Claire are both lovely and are amazing, helping us settle in. The hot tub was spectacular and was used every day! We loved our holiday and cannot wait to come back.

Low score rating given due to location - By-pass Traffic Noise and Quarry.
Not what I would define as a "Retreat".
Lodge faultless.

Stayed in the Boxing Hares lodge for a week. Very impressed with lodge and surroundings. Had many lovely days out sightseeing while there. Lodge was everything we could have asked for and was impressed with privacy and surrounding area of the hot tub. Owners and management were extremely helpful and charming. Definately hope to return one day.

Roe Deer Lodge was outstanding with attention to detail second to none. There were so many things we loved about it, the decor and layout were perfect; it really felt like a home. We loved the large screen smart TVs in all the rooms and free WiFi. And the welcome basket was a lovely touch with all the contents being locally sourced.
And I really loved the dressing room in the main bedroom!
Matt, Abertysswg
Date of stay: 20th May 2019
Staff were amazing, couldn't have asked for nicer people, were very helpful, telling us about the surroundings and best places to go, and best dog walks in the area. Lodges were beautifully thought out, could tell a lot of effort had been put into the lodges, down to the little touches with the mice in the door mouse pod, and the the basket of treats and welcome packs.
Christopher, Derby
Date of stay: 20th May 2019
Excellent and no complaints.
Kelvin, Leamington Spa

A wonderful few days away, beautiful accommodation, wonderful amenities, all finished to a very high standard. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful, recommending places to eat and beaches nearby. The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a day out exploring the local area. Ive been recommending this place to friends and family members already and wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Lisa, Ilfracombe
Date of stay: 12th May 2019
The only negative was the lack of an oven or grill which restricts cooking options otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.
Rachel, Bristol
Date of stay: 10th May 2019
We have stayed in quite a few lodges in the past few years and this was by far the best. The view onto the countryside is beautiful and where the lodge is positioned, you can't see any other lodges meaning it feels as though you're in your own little bubble.
The lodge was equipped with everything you need and more for a pleasant stay. We only left our lodge to do the food shop.
Very good size rooms and living space. Every room has a large smart TV meaning it was so easy to connect to Netflix, we never had any issues with the wifi, it was spot on!
The attention to detail is what made this place special. They have thought about everything and it just feels so homely.
The hot tub was the icing on the cake, very big in size and worked a treat.
I would 100% return and will recommend others here also.
