We stayed at this lovely lodge and really enjoyed it. The size was just right for us and the hot tub overlooking the fields was a real highlight. Definitely recommend!

We recently stayed at Henfields and honestly, it’s like a tiny slice of heaven. The lodges are truly special, with plenty of privacy and cosy hot tubs - absolute bliss! The staff are so friendly, making us feel right at home. Loved the robes, slippers and the thoughtful welcome pack. We’ve already booked again, can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic getaway after lockdown. The lodge was spotless and had all the essentials plus extras like a wine cooler and smart TVs. The hot tub was incredible! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back. Truly top-notch!

The lodge was bright and modern, perfect for our dog with everything we needed, including treats. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, it was a really lovely break!

We had a great stay at this modern lodge. It’s really well kitted out, especially if you enjoy cooking - though a second medium frying pan would’ve been handy! The place was spotless and tidy and the hottub was looked after twice daily, which was lovely. The staff were super friendly and always happy to answer our questions. Not much around for walking or biking, so if you’re into relaxing holidays, this place is perfect. The only small gripe was the water pressure, which affected taps when used simultaneously - not a big deal for a short stay, but worth noting. Overall, we’d definitely recommend it!

We had a really lovely stay! The place was super clean and felt spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space and comfy beds. The bathrooms and fixtures were top-notch, making it feel like a luxury hotel. Privacy was great too, perfect for relaxing. A couple of small things could improve it-like clearer cooker instructions, more crockery for cooking and some extra lighting by the hot tub for winter evenings. Still, it’s a fantastic spot overall!

Otters View is a charming lodge with stunning scenery. Privacy is top-notch since there are no nearby lodges around. Lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge! Everything was thoughtfully provided, from the robes and slippers to the separate towels for the hot tub. The bed was massive, though we found the mattress a bit too soft for our liking. Still, overall, a great experience!

Lodge was really clean and has great facilities - hot tub, smart tvs in each room, washing machine and dryer. Wayne the manager welcomed us and showed us around our lodge. Views are beautiful and its so peaceful. Will definitely be coming back!

On arrival Wayne was extremely helpful and informative. The lodge was spotless and even smelt clean. It was equipped with pretty much everything you could need and was presented immaculately. If I was being hyper critical I would say that the sofa's could be more comfortable and that one more side table to rest your drink on would be a good idea. Again being hyper critical, the loungers could be more comfortable, maybe some pads would solve the issue. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Henfields. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Lovely friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Surrounding are fab, with lots of wildlife and a 10 minute walk into the local village

Excellent lodge

First stay Henfields Country Retreat and was really impressed. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was ideal and the surroundings were lovely and peaceful.

We stayed in the door mouse pod, it was beautifully tucked away within a tree area and very peaceful. Ideal for us as a couple and our dog. Hot tub very relaxing. All in all a lovely place and very clean

We had a fabulous time at Henfields Country Retreat. We stayed in the Rabbit Warren which had everything we needed and was very clean. The Lodge had it's only little secluded garden, which was lovely for relaxing. The lodge was a ten minute walk to the local village where you could go to the local pub for a drink or a meal. Also, we tried the local Indian Restaurant which provided good food. We will definitely book again as there was lots to do in the area and we could not fit it all in, therefore still plenty to do on our next visit. The owners where very helpful and made sure we were happy.

A very neat and tidy lodge and we could not fault it. It was one of the better lodges we have stayed in with plenty of room. The outside decking was roomy with a hot tub and they had also made a space where you could place a disposable bbq if you wanted one. We were greeted by the owners who showed us the lodge and explained where everything was. There was also a lovely welcoming pack that was a nice touch.

Excellent and very private. Near to plenty of places to visit.
