We had a lovely stay at the lodge, which was really spacious and peaceful. The showers worked well, though one bathroom was missing a toilet roll holder-bit annoying but no big deal. The wine cooler fridge was a nice touch! Only thing missing were bedside lamps, so reading in bed wasn't possible, not sure if it’s just our lodge or all. The beds weren’t the comfiest, but overall, we'd definitely recommend and come back!

We loved our stay at the lodge! It’s super cosy and feels just like home. The location is peaceful, yet only a short 10-minute drive to shops and takeaways. Longleat is just 20 minutes away. The site is really well kept and tidy.

The lodge was super roomy, spotless and really comfy. Loved the hot showers and the big patio doors leading to the deck. Parking for two cars was a bonus too!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, there were some plus points but quite a few downsides too. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - really relaxing after a long day. The little walk through the mini-forest was lovely, really scenic. However, the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The sofa was filthy and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly - there were finger nails, dirt and wrappers under the footstools. The curtains were mouldy and broken, which was disappointing. The kitchen was pretty much useless with just one pot and pan and they were ruined beyond use. It felt like the lodge had only been quickly tidied up - the hand soap dispenser was empty and the toothbrush holder was crusty and rusty. The outside furniture was covered in dirt, needing a proper jet wash - it was so green and grimy, I wouldn’t want to sit there. Oh and the welcome letter? They got our names wrong, which is a small thing but shows a lack of attention to detail. Despite all that, we did enjoy our stay, but for the price, we’d probably try elsewhere next time. If you find a cracking deal, maybe you can overlook some of these issues, but generally, I’d look at other lodges around.

The caravan was quite cosy and had all we needed, but visiting in winter meant the 19-degree heating wasn’t quite enough to keep us warm. Still, nice place!

We stayed at Lakeside 1 recently and honestly, it’s a lovely spot. The lodge feels very modern and well thought out, with TVs in both bedrooms and comfy double beds with loads of storage. The kitchen is fully equipped, which was great for cooking in. The heating kept everything warm and the hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The only thing to note is the wooden steps up to the lodge, so might be tricky for some. It’s tucked away from the lake, so only a tiny view through the trees in winter, but the surrounding walks around the lake and woods are perfect for dogs. Staff were really friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. Definitely a quiet, peaceful place to unwind!

The sofas weren’t the most comfy, as the cushions sloped, but overall, we had a lovely time.

Honestly, we expected more for the price. The place looked tired and wasn’t properly cleaned. The blinds were broken and the hot tub wasn’t ready, which was a real letdown. The decking was super slippery and unsafe. One bedroom heater didn’t work and the fire in the lounge was out. We just left after one night-big disappointment!

The space was way smaller than we thought, more like a tiny caravan than a lodge.

The lodge was quite cosy and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, it would’ve been great to have a hairdryer included and a slightly firmer mattress. Also, the twin room’s light was out and some decking lighting would’ve been handy. Still, good experience!

The lodge itself was lovely, but we really missed some basics like tea towels, toiletries and extra towels for the hot tub. Only one toilet roll and a tiny gift bag with a dishwasher tablet-bit sparse, honestly.

We’d definitely return, but a few things could be better. The place wasn’t very well lit or clearly signposted, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the lodge wasn’t the one we originally booked. No welcome pack either, so we struggled with the heating at first - it was boiling when we arrived! Had to wait until the next day to sort it out.

We had a fantastic stay at Brokers wood. So much to see and do in the surrounding areas.We loved the on-site activities.

We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was so clean and well looked after, the hot tub checked daily and it was so quiet. I do think this park is undersold as we couldn't fault anything. We had deliveries from local takeaways direct to our lodge, the children did the Tarzan Trial and the walks in the wood with the dog were fantastic. Yes down by the lake there is building work for the new lodges so I agree with previous comments of not wanting to stay in one of the pods currently. We would 100% return.

My husband and I took our pup on his first holiday to Brokerswood. He absolutely loved it. As did we! Such a lovely location. Beautiful lake and woodland area. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, exactly what we were looking for. Gated decking area, perfect for the pooch. Friendly staff, very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely stay again. Thank you! ?

Lovely holiday park very clean and tidy, nice relaxing vibe. Book canoeing whilst there guys really friendly guys. Also have high ropes, archery and axe throwing. Cute little park for the little ones. Shop onside.Would definitely recommend
