The Deep is a public aquarium in Hull, overlooking the Humber Estuary where the River Hull meets it. Its Endless Ocean tank holds sharks, rays and northern Europe's only pair of green sawfish, and you can walk through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel or ride a glass lift through the water.

Beverley Minster is the parish church of Saint John and Saint Martin in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. It is one of the largest parish churches in the UK, bigger than a third of English cathedrals, and is regarded as a Gothic masterpiece.
Tip: Tours, including the Roof Tour, can be booked through the Minster's website. On Sunday mornings access is limited to the west end until services finish.

Seven centuries of European art, from medieval painting to modern work, in the heart of Hull.
The Ferens is one of the UK's finest art collections, housed in a Grade II listed building in Queen Victoria Square. The collection runs from late medieval painting through to sculpture and new media, with highlights from Lorenzetti, Frans Hals, Canaletto, Leighton, Stanley Spencer, Helen Chadwick and Gillian Wearing. Alongside the permanent displays there are changing exhibitions.
Tip: No need to book for a normal visit, but last admission is 30 minutes before closing and the café shuts an hour before the gallery.

An Elizabethan manor house with a games-themed walled garden, woodland walk and a Norman manor house next door.
Burton Agnes Hall is an Elizabethan manor house near Driffield, built in the early 1600s. Inside, the Long Gallery has a richly plastered ceiling, and many 17th-century fittings survive, including carved woodwork, plaster ceilings and an alabaster overmantel. Next door stands the Norman Manor House, first built in 1173. Both are Grade I listed, and the Hall is still a lived-in family home.
Tip: Book tickets online ahead if you can. Card payments only, as cash isn't accepted on site.

Sledmere House is a Grade I listed Georgian country house between Driffield and Malton, and the ancestral home of the Sykes family. It is known for its Chippendale and Sheraton furnishings, fine plasterwork and the Long Library, which is described as one of the most beautiful rooms in England. The Turkish Room, with its Kutahya tiles, is another highlight.
Tip: The farm shop, adventure play area and farm do not need a ticket and parking is free, but check the website for current opening times before you set off.

One of the world's first purpose-built museums, with Yorkshire fossils and sea views in Scarborough.
The Rotunda is the Museum of Coastal Heritage and Geology, opened in 1829 and among the world's first purpose-built museums. It was built to a design suggested by William Smith, the "Father of English Geology", and looks out over Scarborough's South Bay. Inside, a Georgian gallery has a frieze of the local coastline's geology, drawn by Smith's nephew John Phillips.
Tip: There's no car park on site, so use the nearby South Bay underground car park or Palm Court multi-storey. Check which galleries are open, as the West Wing is closed.

Clean tidy and comfortable. A shelf in the shower to put your shampoo or soap on to would be useful
The bed was very comfortable as was the seating in the lounge area. A larger TV would have been good.

Booked a 4 night stay.Prestige caravan but wasn't like prestige caravans we have stayed in. Was quite basic. All clean when arrived, no option of early check in when we arrived, understand as it was a bank holiday.We were put on a separate part of the park not attached to the main park, felt quite secluded. Only about 8 caravans behind a pub. Not much happening in the main bar, for a half-term week thought they would have put some form of entertainment on but we quickly realised that it felt very much like a locals place, seats in the bar were also reversed for some of the locals residents of the park.Shop etc... shut at 5 and there was nothing else around shop wise unless you were happy to drive into Hornsea.Hornsea itself was a nice little seaside town. We were a family of 4 but there wasn't enough for my children to do.

Caravan was lovely and clean, well looked after. Heating worked well. Beds were comfy and bedding was cosy and good quality. Bonus having towels included as one less thing to pack.

We had a lovely stay! Everything was spotless and well arranged, which made settling in really easy. The welcome pack with tea and washing supplies was a nice touch and very handy. We definitely enjoyed our holiday!

EVERY THING WAS CLEAN AND TIDY AND WE ENJOYED OUR HOLIDAY.THERE WAS A PACK OF WASHING UP THINGS AND A TEA TOWEL ALSO TEA MAKING PACK WHICH CAME IN VERY HANDY WHEN WE FIRST GOT THERE.
The caravan was spotless and really nice, which we loved. However, the pitch wasnt great-definitely not ideal for a full week in summer. Wouldnt choose that spot again, but overall okay.
We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was well equipped and super comfy, making our trip really enjoyable. The park itself is stunning and perfect for relaxing. Only downside was the service from the lady on Sunday 16th - the rest of the staff were absolutely brilliant. Well definitely return!

Lacked in kitchen equipment no baking trays or large saucepans and only 1 small oven dish found it difficult to cook a meal for 6 of us.
Very comfortable and cosy stay
We recently stayed at Cowden and really enjoyed our stay. The location is quite tucked away, which we loved because it was so peaceful and quiet-perfect for relaxing. The caravan was mostly clean, though we did find some dirty pans and cutlery, which was a bit surprising. The double bed mattress is looking a bit worn and needs replacing, along with some pillows. We also only had two glasses in a six-berth caravan, but staff quickly sorted that out when we asked. It was a shame the restaurant was closed the whole time-we werent told beforeh and. Still, overall, a lovely, tranquil spot for a quiet getaway.
Caravan was spotless, but missing an extra baking tray and could really use another pan.

We recently stayed at this caravan and honestly, it was really lovely. The price was quite fair, especially with those nice little touches that made it feel a bit special - like the Teabags, Coffee, Milk and even Bread and Jam waiting for us when we arrived. There was also a Tea-Towel and some mini Washing-up-Liquid which was handy. The bathroom had some thoughtful toiletries - Shower Gel, Shampoo and a Shower Cap - all in good quality. The beds were already made up and the place smelled fresh and was spotless. Everything we needed for a short getaway was there and the shower was one of the best - nice and hot with good pressure. The site itself is right next to the main owners site near the Cross Keys Inn, but it stayed quiet and we could still use the facilities on the main site if we wanted. You do have to check in and out at the reception, but wed definitely come back. Its a perfect spot for exploring and relaxing afterwards. Cant fault it!
Overall, a nice stay. The caravan was spotless and peaceful. Only one oven tray was a bit annoying.

Really enjoyed the stay, except the bed was a bit too firm.
Although Cowden holiday park says it is dog friendly, the same cannot be said about either the Club House or Cross Keys Public house. As in both venues dogs are not allowed. They will not even apportion an area inside away from non dog friendly customers. It is ridiculous to be able to take your pet to these camps yet you are an outcast with your well behaved pet. I've seen children less well behaved and make more mess than a lot of pets.
Nice site well placed for visiting villages along the coast. The static caravan was spotless. Has a working pod point ev car charger with two connections. Has a club house on the main site and a pub that serves good food.
I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the site. The caravan was absolutely spotless and very spacious. The welcome pack was a real bonus as we could have a cuppa as soon as we got there. Very well maintained site.

Nice clean holiday park. Could possibly be a bit more dog friendly. Dogs not allowed in club and bar or Cross Keys pub consequently we would have eaten at the pub if dogs were allowed inside. Too hot or too windy outside whilst we were there. Had to go to Hornsea to find dog friendly pubs.
