Really enjoyed the stay, especially the hot tub!

We had such a lovely stay at this lodge, even with the unpredictable weather. The place is super peaceful, which we really enjoyed and it didn’t bother us at all. Plus, there's a charming licensed cafe just across the road called the Spotted Duck, serving gorgeous food and offering takeaways. We’ll definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotless and well-stocked, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for dog walks just outside the door, which was a big plus. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Can’t wait to return!

We honestly enjoyed our stay here. The lodges were spotless and super cosy and the owners were genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. It’s a peaceful spot, but you’ll need to drive if you want a nice evening walk or a pub meal-no footpaths nearby.

We stayed for four nights in one of the Octi-Lodge Spas and honestly, it was brilliant! Super cosy and warm, with everything you could possibly need. The shower had plenty of hot water, which was a relief. The spa was such a treat and we loved the skylight-lying in bed and gazing at the stars (if the sky was clear) was just magical. The tea rooms nearby are definitely worth a visit. The owners are genuinely friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

We stayed here for a week from 15 to 22 July with our two little Daschund girls and they loved every minute! They made friends with some local pups in the village of Thaxted, which was adorable. The cottage itself was really charming and the hot tub was such a treat-perfect for cooling off during the heatwave. The hosts were super welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day. Also, being close to Stansted meant we got to watch the planes land, which added to the fun. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly, we had such a great stay here! We pulled up around 4:20 pm and got straight into the accommodation - the first impressions were definitely WOW. While we were unpacking, Stephen, the owner, came over to introduce himself. Such a lovely bloke! He took the time to chat and give us all the info about the site and the place, which was really nice. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had a fantastic first night’s sleep and kept enjoying the hot tub every evening. The local area is worth exploring too. This place really helped us unwind after a tough year and we’re already planning to come back. Couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s the perfect little getaway for some chill time. We had a lovely stay at this pod! The facilities are spot on, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the comfy bed that made sleeping a breeze. The hot tub was a real highlight-used it every day, definitely a plus. The setting is super peaceful, nestled in the countryside with lots of natural sounds that really help you unwind. The outdoor area is enclosed, perfect for our dog. We didn’t need much interaction with staff, but they were friendly and quick to reply when we reached out. Would definitely recommend for a chill outdoor getaway!

We just got back from a great four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are really friendly but not the kind to bother you, which we appreciated. The garden is perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place has everything you could possibly need, including a BBQ for a cosy evening. The hot tub was fantastic! The hosts were friendly and knew a lot about the local area, which was helpful. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out. Only small thing was the glass roof at the top, which meant it was bright early in the morning and woke us up. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends!

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend and the weather was lovely. The Octi-lodge mini spa was a real highlight - totally recommend it! The owners were fantastic too. We'll definitely return soon!

We really loved the bed, so comfy! The shower was excellent with hot water coming through quickly. The fridge had a freezer section, perfect for ice cream. It was a bit smaller than expected, but the drawers under the bed were a nice surprise for storage. We just missed a wardrobe, but overall, it suited us perfectly!

We had a fantastic time staying here! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, really making us feel at home. The place had everything we needed-spotlessly clean, comfy and safe for our dog Archie. The location was perfect for exploring, with lots of lovely walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, it felt like a proper recharge for us all. Definitely a relaxing break we won’t forget!

We had a lovely relaxing week, the lodge was clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was lovely only came on arrival to show us how to use the hot tub, which was the cherry on the cake. We would recommend a stay here, we will return again to this stunning location.

There is a Lack of local hospitality venues such as pubs and restaurants within walking distance. That been said it's nice and peaceful surroundings are most welcome

me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. peaceful surroundings, the site owner was extremely helpful and chatty. we felt very welcome. the lodge and hot tub was very clean, i would say the only downside to this was the glass panels in the ceiling let in to much morning light haha but eye masks was provided with the lodge so it wasn’t too much of an issue. location was around 20 mins drive from local beach and tesco. a couple of nice places to eat near by also. would highly recommended and will most definitely return for a long weekend break.

Had a great time at Green Meadows Park, not too far from local towns and another camping park, it still was peaceful and kept to itself. Wildlife, such as birds flying around, and rabbits on the green outside showed the nature of the park. The owners were incredibly helpful if you had any questions, showed you how to use the hot tub and left you to enjoy your own lodge in peace. This is an ideal holiday for one or two people who want the freedom of either staying in with the BBQ and hot tub or venturing out to see the local sights. The way the lodge is laid out is handy and compact and more roomy than what you expect. The hot tub and outside area has some form of privacy with a slatted fence. I would recommend to others

Our first time booking anything like this, now everything after is going to be hard to beat this, what a bewutiful location and so peaceful, we stayed for 3 nights and was more than worth it, I would highly recommend staying here, the owners are so helpful and are litirally a phone call away if you need anything.

A lovely little site, with the amount of cabins it keeps the site quiet and you feel more relaxed. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful and always up for a chat. We took our dog with us and the open space of the site is ideal and with a little fishing lake across the road makes for a nice little walk. Overall I would definitely recommend and will even be looking to return.
