The decor in the lounge and kitchen was very dated but was very clean and it was very cosy of an evening, over all very relaxing break

This lodge would not be suitable for larger people as space is limited in double bed room.

Overall a good holiday.Comfy Lodge with things needed provided and enjoyed the contents of the goodie bag, thank you.Not a great first impression as was a 'table' in the lounge area which has a circular top which is in a very bad state.

The lodge is a good size and well appointed. A couple of minor observations where wear and tear was noticeable.. the hot tub was perfect and sitting in the sun with the view is a joy.. the hot tub was cleaned regularly also and was a welcome addition..

Lovely lodge we were really disappointed not to have a view as we were in front of a wall and no parking outside the lodge.

A little cramped as it was very hot weather. Balcony gave lovely views across to countryside and sea and it was lovely in the evenings. Quiet location in the walled garden better than some of the lodges in the main area.

Lodge just a little tired a few dents in the walls, veneers coming away on wardrobe. The cleanliness was very good though and attention to detail.

Lodge was very nice and clean, a plug in air freshener would have made it smell fresher tho, I believe it was the carpets! It was well equipped, although a wok would have been useful. The weather was very hot whilst we were there, so hence it was very hot in the lodge. I could not fault the hot tub which was very clean and an enjoyable experience. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The surroundings are peaceful however was sadly spoilt by some residents who were noisy, shouting, believed to be permanent residents not holiday makers, as their lodge was surrounded by clutter and there was a washing machine outside, so when you passed by you could see the washing going round, which really surprised us as I would expect there to be strict rules about that type of thing. It was a shame as it spoilt the atmosphere of the location.

We had a lovely stay in a meadow-view lodge in June. The lodge was very well equipped and clean and fabulous views over the valley. The park itself was fabulous with friendly and helpful staff. Lots to see and do in the area - overall a really lovely holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Sadly, we couldn’t use most of the facilities because of Covid, except for the bar which was lovely. The only real issue was the main bathroom-there was no seal around the bath and shower door, so the floor got soaked every time we showered. Still, it was a nice trip!

We recently stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and honestly, it was a lovely find. The privacy was great, even with the farm nearby and the owners, Robert and Sharon, were genuinely lovely folks. The place felt really spacious, especially the kitchen and bathroom, which were well equipped. The bed was super comfy and the garden was perfect for our dog-completely secluded and with nice furniture. We enjoyed lots of walks around and tried some local restaurants like The Star and The Maypole; both were pretty good. Overall, we’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Note - We had a great time! Upon arrive we were greeted by a welcome bag with goodies inside it which was lovely. The lodge was cleaned to a great standard and we were very impressed with the lodge we had, we saw the sun set every evening. Jacuzzi was amazing and always at the perfect temperature. The lodge was very well equipped, we requested extra duvets and this was delivered quite quickly by a lovely gentleman whose name I forget, great customer service! I enjoyed the therapy lodge and had a few treatments, it’s great there is a spa with steam room, sauna and pool on site, only thing I noticed was when the staff were cleaning the Matt’s close to t he kids pool area, some of the dirty water he used to clean the Matt’s went into the pool as he was brushing the water out! A bit more care in that regard would be good as it wasn’t great to see. When the pool is cleaned nothing should be washed into the pool. Kids enjoyed the large chess board and soft play. If it had a slightly higher slide that would make the soft play perfect, kids loved it either way and the fact there was one on site was a bonus. Adventure park, ponds and woodland walk was lovely too (some hedges do need a trim), we used sticks to go through the path and move branches out the way which was exciting for the kids. Restaurant was nice, kids fish finger portion was great. A few more healthier and vegetarian options would be good to add, the mushroom and Camembert stick starter was nice. Perhaps adding a creamy pasta dish, or a grilled fish dish with a nice sauce would be beneficial, they are quite quick and easy to make, we would have eaten more in the restaurant if there was more of a choice, and also having Tabasco sauce on the side for anyone who wants to add chilli to their food would be good! We eat halal or kosher meat so could not enjoy the roast which smelt great. Cream tea was lush. I can tell the owners of the holiday park take pride in what they do, you can tell this from the general presentation and facilities on offer. I could not tell if there was an option to hire racquets for the tennis courts and can’t recall if there was a ping pong table on site, more info on that upon arrival would have been good. Another good thing to have had a bit more of upon arrival would have been a quick introduction to the holiday park, being told where the kids play areas were, opening times for the restaurant, pool and spa etc and also quick recommendations on what to do in the area. This would have added a cherry on top with regards to customer service. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!Thank you again Crowhurst. Regards
Oliver

Really enjoyed it, would definitely return

Beautiful location, great staff. Overall brilliant. Its why we keep returning. Our only criticism this stay was there was two small "sofa's" which were really very small, given its a cabin for four people. There also no cushions, so one person was sitting on the floor with out even a cushion. But over all still our go to place.
Julian
Great stay, good location and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff ??????????
David
Lodge was lovely site very clean and the staff are wonderful
Daniel
Superb A1 a lovely lovely site
Lynne
We spent the time as a spa retreat and the staff at the spa were fantastic. The swimming pool and gym facilities were clean and staff were friendly. We liked the takeaway deliver to your lodge service. The food was excellent. The views over to the South Downs and across to the sea were beautiful.
Diane
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodges, lovely view, very friendly and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The swimming pool was really good and as a non-swimmer I found the steps, bars and shallow water very helpful.
Chris
Crowhurst is a beautiful peaceful place to stay, this was our second visit and we enjoyed it. But there were a couple of little things we thought they could of done to make the say a little better. Some comfortable soft furniture on the deck for relaxing in would have been nice, instead of the hard ridged chairs that are there. Also some sort of sun shade/large umbrella that could be used to give you some shade while in the hot tub. Our tub was in direct sunlight all day till sunset.
Cynthia
Everyone very helpful, holiday was good. Pool very good. Childrens playground was a little difficult being on steep slope. Enjoyed our time there.
Jonathan
Our second visit. Such a lovely place. Accomodation is great and the staff are exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Pool is superb and the grounds are kept immaculate. 15 mins to the town centre and lovely beaches. Great family park.
Norman
Excellent from start to finish. We'll be back
Alec
