Visitor Reviews of Drimsynie Holiday Village

Donna
Date of stay: 10th November 2023
I would not recommend this holiday village to friends and family as the accommodation was very poor. It was dirty and very run down. I reported to reception about the amount of dead flies on the celing of the main bedroom and the smell coming from the shower room within that bedroom from the black mould all over the celing. I asked if someone could at least come and clean the flies off but over the week we were there no one ever came. This made it impossible for us to use that bedroom. We booked a 3 bedroom lodge as that's what we required for our stay. The hot tub only had 2 or 3 jets working this was also reported to reception and hot tub attendant again nothing was done about this. The over all cleanliness of the lodge was not good at all.

Hot tub was great and big enough for four adults just needs some of the jets fixed as they weren’t working properly.

Good lodge, bit tired decor wise. Found double beds a bit small for my tall husband and son. Wallpaper riped in one bedroom However great facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer

As stated previously, disappointed for what we paid to turn up to wallpaper ripped and hanging off walls. Toilet seats broken, and dining room chairs with holes etc. good size lodge and hot tub but disappointed that the jets didn’t really work and no one came over the weekend to top up water and check levels etc.

Wonderful from start to finish Devin and Kirsty at the desk couldn't do enough to help. The caravan was beautifully clean and the view incredible. Swimming pool was lovely Hazel and her staff were so enthusiastic and helpful. Our children did a few activities which we booked prior to arriving and all activities staff were incredible but Justin is one in a million a real asset to the site! The little shop has the essentials and staff lovely there, we had got in touch previously with the site and found out our number and had a arranged a food shop delivered from Morrisons. We did the movie night which was amazing and so relaxing a real treat for us all.The location is incredible and site absolutely immaculate. Paige who worked at the Rob Roy was wonderful such fun and happy face to see.We ate at The View after mixed online reviews we were unsure what to expect however the food and service was perfect. In my daughters opinion Joy is amazing! We loved thus holiday! See you next year!!!

We’ve been very welcoming by the staffs when we arrive, very friendly and smiling. My son had accident injury of his head my god all the staff were very helpful and well training of first aids and helping us calm, the manger her name Collette I think she’s wonderful I’ve ever seen she’s offered us to hot drink while awaiting for paramedics and gave my son a lollypops so they found nearer to medical centre which isn’t far from holiday park and then we got back and she’s offered my son to do something as he’s very brave wee boy. I didn’t get chance to say thank you to Collette for everything and helping us to understand as we are deaf. The location is must a wow! What a majestic view of lake mountains everything is heavenly peaceful place. Scotland has truly been blessed with beautiful views and beautiful places too. We will coming back again! Thank y’all for your kindness x

Date of stay: 28th May 2023
What a great holiday! We will definitely be coming here again. The caravan was lovely, modern, spacious and clean. There were lots of facilities to use. Next time we'll make sure to book some activities in advance as some were booked up before we got there but this time with a young baby we couldn't book in advance so we knew this could be a possibility. We're going to come back in October with wider family since we enjoyed it so much. The food was great too.

This was a last minute holiday as we had been due to travel to Hungary and it turned out to be wonderful even the weather was kind . If the entertainment and all facilities had been available this really would have made for a all round fantastic holiday.

Date of stay: 24th July 2020
The caravan was spotless. Only issue was the early check out at 9am which is a bit stressful. You have to pay for WiFi even though there is no entertainment. They could have given more to make up for having no entertainment or facilities open.

Enjoyed our 4 day break 100%. Lovely scenic surrounding's.
Hazel, Glasgow
Date of stay: 9th March 2020
We felt that the lodge was clean and comfortable, however, the water in the en-suite shower in one of the twin rooms ran cool to cold which was not ideal. We have visited many lodges and caravans and when compared we didn't feel that the price charged was good value. Particularly when gas and electricity was an additional charge and you have to pay for swimming. We feel that this is perhaps a little greedy but would still go back as overall the holiday was fab!

Overall excellent. Thanks to the superb team members. Very professional and efficient service provided by all.

Will definitely be returning to this beautiful part of Scotland again and the fantastic family run holiday park, on the Drimsynie estate.
Reagan
The lodge was clean and in a beautiful location. The staff where friendly and helpful. My young nephew really enjoyed the entertainment at night and it is the most dog friendly place I have ever been. So we all hope to come back soon!
Margaret
Will definitely return was so much activities for my son to take part in. Surrounding views were stunning. Caravan was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great time had by all. Had a weeks holiday and could definitely have stayed longer
Val
Very friendly and informative staff all round. Beautiful surroundings, we had a hot tub and were not overlooked by anyone and the views were amazing. We complained about a dog barking constantly as he was left on his own after around 7pm till late on night. Within the hour a member of staff came to inform us this had been dealt with and thanked us for reporting it. Apart from the dog barking the remainder of the time the site was peaceful. Reported sound was not working on TV in the living area and this was replaced the next morning.
Nikki
The overall holiday experience was very good, the venue amazing and all the staff friendly. On our first evening we needed further information regarding our bungalow but reception was not open. This was a Saturday so I presume a lot of people had booked in that day, there were other people at the desk looking for staff at the same time as me (approx 7pm). I would suggest a later time for popular book in days or at least put a notice up so people know they have gone home.
Catherine
Loved every minute definitely go back !
Neil
After a few initial problems on site we had a wonderful time and would recommend the site to anybody. We were upgraded to the most beautiful lodge we have ever stopped in. Everything was there. Great time was gad by all.
Angela
Caravan was spotless Location was perfect Staff were so helpful and always smiling. Food at restaurant was outstanding as was the waitress. I have and will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Outstanding location
Deana
Stunning place to visit, would be great if there was a cash machine for easiness, overall 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back!
