Grannies Heilan Hame

fantastic holiday park , very friendly locals , great for children , have been goin to this holiday park since i was 13 and am planining on takeing my children this year , fantastic 5 star without second thought

Caravan has alot of fault and need a refurb.

Caravan well equipped and spotless on arrival

This van was in my opinion, average, the carpet in the main living area had been replaced with lino.... Not a homely feeling! Not clean standard either. Beds were great I must say. Very comfy. Bits of the decking are now rusty, needing done up a bit on a whole. This was van SView 53. I come every year and have been in loads of vans, this one was quite a disappointment.

Highly recommend this site spectacular views, close to the beach, caravan was clean perfect. Staff are brilliant.

Perfect place.

We had a wonderful holiday here! The staff was lovely and so helpful, the beach was clean and beautiful, and the caravan was beyond our expectations! Our only issue was with the poolthe chlorine level was very, very high, the spa wasnt available to use, and it felt like the booking times to just swim were very few. We cant wait to come back and visit!

Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts really went above and beyond. Very relaxing experience - will definitely tell friends about it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were a bonus. The warm welcome made us feel right at home. Lovely hosts too!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotless and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was definitely a highlight and the surrounding walks were just lovely. Its a peaceful spot, ideal for unwinding. Wed happily come back again!

We had such a lovely time at Goddards Mead. The cottage was perfect in every aspect. Can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still very private. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. The place is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that was perfect after long walks. The garden is super private, dog-proof and furnished nicely. Plenty of scenic walks nearby too. Thaxteds restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. Wed definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is cosy and perfect for a peaceful getaway, just be prepared for night-time plane noise from Stansted. The hot tub was fantastic!

Really enjoyed the walk, the fields were beautiful and the dogs had a fantastic time! Would come back.

We stayed in this lovely, well-equipped house during a rainy December and it was perfect for us. The place was cosy and warm, which was much appreciated. The bath was fantastic and the shower was nice and spacious too. Being on a flight path didn't bother us at all-peaceful location, ideal for dogs scared of fireworks. Would definitely recommend, thanks a lot!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the scorching days when the water was just right after being cooled down. We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were; it was nice to see them taking their dogs to the fields each day. Being close to the Stansted flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land. All in all, wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with pets!

We had a fantastic stay here! The place was super peaceful and well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight. Lovely hosts too. If you want a quiet getaway, this is perfect. Highly recommend!

Cozy and well-equipped caravan! Excellent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Fantastic experience!

Really enjoyed our time here! Everything was spotless and the hot tub was just perfect fun.

We had such a great weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to come back. Our dogs were in heaven with the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for playing. Luna even came home with a strained tail - turns out she was wagging it so much she overdid it! Happy pups, happy us!

We had a lovely time at this peaceful spot. Sharon and Robert really go the extra mile to ensure everythings just right. Its our second visit and were already planning to return again soon! Definitely recommend.

We stayed at this lovely little cottage and it was just perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hot tub was a real treat and the place was spotless with everything we needed. Plenty of walks nearby and we had such a great time. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped and the hot tub was such a treat!

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! Honestly, we didnt need to bring much because everything was so well equipped - I even overpacked the car, haha. The welcome pack was full of useful info and the little touches for our dogs made all the difference. The enclosed garden was perfect for the pups and the hot tub? Absolutely brilliant after long walks. Sharon and Rob were quick to reply if we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful break, well definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob and Sharon put so much effort into converting this historic building with real care and they made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived - Bonnie was adorable too! The place itself is super cosy and perfect for relaxing. Its located in a great spot in Essex; we enjoyed wandering around Thaxted and exploring nearby villages, soaking up the charming history and architecture. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Perfect for a peaceful escape, though the night-time plane noise from Stanstead was noticeable. The hot tub was a real bonus!

Really comfy sofa and the power shower was absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The park had so much to offer and were already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for a fun family break!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely hosts and the jacuzzi was a nice touch! Definitely coming back.

We loved this cosy little cottage! Perfect for some peace and quiet, just a heads up about the night-time planes from Stansted. The hot tub was a real treat!

Had a good break and the no contact handover was excellent

Had a lovely time with family, lots to do for children and family entertainment at night. Set in a beautiful location.

The caravan had everything we needed, including a washing machine which is not essential but having 3 young grandkids it was very useful, it was clean & comfortable, we all had a fantastic time, close to the beach, the kids had a great time.

Great beach location lots going on for children and bars for adults well stocked shop and overall great holiday

Had an amazing family time :)

Gorgeous location, very clean caravan. Well stocked shop and a good choice food at the on-site pub. The one downside for us was the “dog friendly” pub. If you wanted to take your dog into the pub you had to sit in what was ultimately a corridor closed off from the rest of the pub, we felt very unwelcome with out dog because of this.

Excellent weekend away - caravan and site were great.

The only let down was the fish and chip shop,
was rather expensive for frozen chips and the batter on the sausage was burnt
