We loved this cosy little cottage! Perfectly tucked away for some peace, yet close enough to town. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept everything super comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel really welcome. Can’t wait to return for longer!

We stayed at this place and honestly, it was fantastic. The house is super well-equipped and kept us warm even on that rainy December day. The bath was lovely and the shower was spacious-just what we needed! Being right on a flight path didn’t bother us at all and it’s perfect for dogs that dislike fireworks since it’s so remote. A really beautiful conversion, we’d come back for sure!

Loved our caravan. Wish we could have turned it round and had the master at the other end as it was the kids room at the side where everyone walks home from the park/entertainment but not a huge thing. In all honesty it could have been cleaner but it wasn’t a massive deal just for the price you’re paying arriving somewhere spotless would be nice.

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and really enjoyed our time there. Rob and Sharon clearly put a lot of effort into restoring the historic building, which adds a lovely charm to the place. They greeted us warmly, along with Bonnie, which made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering around Thaxted and nearby villages-so much history to soak up. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed at this charming cottage recently and honestly, it had everything we needed - we didn’t have to pack much at all! The owners, Sharon and Rob, were super quick to reply when we had questions. The welcome pack was really handy, packed with all the info and menus, which we appreciated. The little extras for our dogs and us were a lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect for the pups and the hot tub? Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for a lovely break, we’ll be back!

We spent a week at Nairn Lochloy in June, My husband and our two children aged 5 and 10. We had a fantastic week! Our caravan was lovely, nice and clean. There is a fantastic play park suitable for both of my children which they had great fun playing in. Direct access to the most beautiful beach and others within walking distance. We really felt like the staff loved their jobs! The receptionist was so kind and helpful and the staff who ran the kids entertainment were excellent. So full of energy and fun and they really brought our kids out of their shell. The kids said that Starland Crazy was the best part of their holiday. The whole place was excellent and we would have loved to stay longer. This is a site that we are keen to return to. Thanks for an excellent holiday Nairn!
Anne
Lovely van in an excellent location. The easy access to the beach was perfect for walking the dog.
Brian
I have visited the Nairn Lochloy park several times over the last 25 years of visiting Scotland. It has never disappointed and has maintained its excellent standards for accommodation, grounds maintenance and other on site facilities. Its location right on the coast and excellent beach with Nairn town and nature reserve and woodland walk, also on its doorstep, must make it one of the jewels in the crown for Parkdean, long may it continue.
Angela
Caravan clean , site immaculate , entertainment good , would definitely recommend .
Louise
Beautiful location, good facilities and modern accommodation. A great base to explore the Highlands. Entertainment staff were fantastic, both with kids and adults!
David
Fantastic holiday. Most the staff were very helpful and cheerful however there was a few in the restaurant that looked like they never wanted to be there. But overall a fantastic holiday and will be back again.
Steven
We went to nairn to meet family. The hidden jem over the dunes is probably the best beach I've seen in a long time. So peaceful even a midnight walk along the beach with the dog was great. Facilities are spot on if you have kids. Small pool small entertainment room. So if you have fear of losing sight of the Littlens your fine here. Ideal for nice quite getaway to chill out. No where near as big as the likes of haggerstone but this means you have more chance of winning at bingo. ? I'd definitely go back.
