Leeds Castle stands on islands in a lake formed by the River Len, about 7 miles south-east of Maidstone in Kent. It is a Grade I listed estate, and a castle has stood on the site since Saxon times. The building you see today is mostly early 19th century, remodelled in a Tudor style.
Tip: Look out for the painting of Henry VIII meeting Francis I of France, and the doublet worn at the Battle of Maidstone, both on display.

Wildwood is a woodland discovery park on the A291 between Herne Bay and Canterbury. Its 40 acres sit within the larger West Blean woods and are home to around fifty native British species. It is run as a conservation charity, and the trust has been involved in bringing European bison back to Blean Woods.
Tip: Parking is free, but space for coaches and minibuses is limited in peak seasons. Dogs, including guide dogs, are not allowed.

Sissinghurst Castle Garden was created by the writer Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicolson, who bought the run-down farmstead in 1930. It was great , the entertainment was outstanding !!! I loved our caravan . It had great space and we were able to fit 8 people each person with a bed to themselves . There was a sofa bed for a my auntand uncle . There was a 4 single beds for me , my sister and my two cousins and another double bed in a seperate room for my mum and dad . I will definately go again no matter what ! All my sister wanted to do was go to the park . Its such a nice little park where children can go off by themselves. There are shops just out the park so you can get a newspaper and stuff . There are also shops to buy footballs and games .

The accommodation was really nice but more can be done when it comes to deep cleaning and preparing it as we spent a bit of time on arrival cleaning some of the surfaces and furniture properly. But overall the kids enjoyed and fun was had by all.
Great caravan for size and layout, albeit a dirty shower and some dry blood stains in the lounge. The caravan was sold as an 8 berth and fortunately there was only 4 of us as we only had 4 dinner plates.
The beds were not comfortable - mattresses need replacement.
Will definitely book another caravan at this park clean tidy and nice friendly staff location great for a seaside resort lots of shops selling buckets and spades etc and food outlets

The toilet brush smelt of cigarettes when arrived from the last people. Caravans to packed in close together. Caravan very spacious good shower with hot water.

We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were such warm hosts, making us feel totally at home. The place had everything we needed-spotlessly clean, comfy and secure for our dog, Archie. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks around and the charming villages nearby. Honestly, we left feeling super relaxed and recharged - it was just what we needed. Definitely a great break for us!
We have stayed in platinum lodges before, but this one was very spacious and had ample storage. Lovely lodge with everything you need.
We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels really private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such friendly people, making us feel right at home. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus a super comfy bed. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secure and with nice outdoor furniture. Plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted at The Star and The Maypole - both are worth a visit. Honestly, wed happily go back!
We spent a week here from 15th to 22nd July with our two adorable mini dachshunds and they loved every minute of it! The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is cosy with a lovely touch - the hot tub. It was perfect for cooling off during the hottest days of the year. The hosts were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Watching planes land near Stansted was surprisingly fun, adding a bit of excitement to our stay. Overall, a lovely place wed happily return to!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy spot tucked away in a peaceful setting. The owners were genuinely friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but they kept a respectful distance to maintain privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling. One thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is noticeable. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great place to unwind!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! It truly has everything you could need, so theres no need to pack much. We were surprised at how well stocked it was - I ended up overloading the car! The welcome pack was really handy, with all the info and menus, which showed how much thought had gone into it. The little extras for us and our dogs were a lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect for the pups and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Thanks for a great break!

We booked a dog walking getaway and it was just what we needed. The place was lovely, with great local pubs and endless country walks nearby. Our dog loved it and didnt want to leave! Definitely recommend.
We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well-equipped and kept us cosy the whole time. The bath was fantastic and the shower was a nice big one-just what we needed. The location is ideal, especially if your dogs hate fireworks, as its really out in the middle of nowhere. No noise at all from the flight path either. Thanks a lot!

A lovely site right near the beach with great staff and clean facilities
Fantastic - took 1, 13 and 15 year old so much to do and so many arcades and so close to the beach - it won’t disappoint - swimming pool was a little naff - staff bit rude and had to book at 9.15 in the morning to go that day (ask to book the next day too !)
I only used the club for a couple of hours. The Cabaret was very good but it was so loud we left. We didn’t use any other facilities on the site.
Only stayed two nights.
Caravan was perfect but had no chopping board which seemed a bit weird. That was my only criticism.
